Sympathetic Deceit is just so awesome, but what I like better is developed Deceit still being himself and overcoming his beefs with the core sides to become a better person and a useful, accepted side of Thomas.

STORYTIME!

Everything that has ever happened in Deceit's entire life, all the important things happened in the rain. He was born in the rain in the back of his dad's pickup truck, he had his first kiss woth a girl in the rain and immediately figured out that he was gay in the rain, he found his pet snake in a ditch in the rain, everything that shaped Deceit's entire childhood happened in the rain. But there's also one more thing that happened in the rain that was the most important part of his entire life:

Virgil.

He met Virgil during Highschool on a rainy day. Both of them were staying after school working on something or another when they both managed to go outside to watch the rain and get away from the chaos at the same time. Neither of them were good people back in Highschool they were surrounded by all the wrong crowds. Virgil was heavy into tobacco snuff back then and Deceit was a little shirt who ruined people's lives for money and popularity. But they met that day in the rain, and Deceit protected him from then on.

They broke up for the first time in the rain. Virgil had enough of Deceit's ways after their Junior year ended and Virgil ended it. Deceit wasn't exactly the person to take a breakup well.  He actually ruined Virgil and all his new friends socially for half of their entire Senior year. But whenever he saw Virgil again face to face for the first time during Spring Break during a thunderstorm, he felt the emotioms from thst first day. He cried for the first time in front of Virgil, begging for forgiveness he never got. Begging for forgiveness he never deserved.

They met again in the rain, four years after their senior year. Deceit had never loved another human and he had become a Lawyer to try and atone for all of his actions. College is actually where he met his best friend Remus. He was a crazy guy from his dorm who taught him how to relax and forget all about the past. Virgil was still with his three friends: Patton, Roman, and Logan. Roman and Remus were twins. Neat. That's the day he learned that. But that was also the day the two of them agreed to try again. Why did Virgil have a change of heart? Nobody knew, but that was the second time in his entire life that Deceit let himself cry in front of smothering human being. 

The most important date they ever had was in the rain. The date they had three mo the later during a light rain shower where Virgil actually admitted that Deceit was the reason why he developed into who he was today. He admitted that he would have never quit tobacco snuff and would have probably would have went haywire with other drugs without him. And... he would have never met his friends without Deceit. Deceit would never forget how Virgil thanked him and how both of them admitted allthough what they used to have was unhealthy, they needed it to grow.

Then Deceit proposed to Virgil in the rain. He bought a ring and waited for the next rainstorm to take Virgil on the rainytime adventures, his Words not Deceit's, and he took them to this old run down house that was abandoned. They had an adventure and then went into the overgrown gardens in the backyard and he took him to the middle. He bent down on one knee and told Virgil so many lovely things and how none of it wasn't a lie. He said he couldn't promise he'd never lie, but if he were to lie to Virgil it would only be to protect him and make him happy. That was a compromise he could live with and he wore Deceit's ring on his left ring finger ever since.

They adopted their first pet in the rain, their first child during a thunderstorm, almost got struck by lightning on their honeymoon.... lots of important things in their life happened in the rain. And yes, their is used to symbolize both of them. And yes, their life isn't only singular because their life is shared now. Deceit gave his entire self to Virgil, and Virgil did the same thing back. That should be marriage.

Where are they now! Well, Deceit is sitting in his living room on a Sunday evening. The sky has gone dark and it's only six o'clock. It's Summer. Why is the sky dark? Because the clouds are covering up the red and orange sunset. The rain was falling and the thunder was roaring. Lightning struck once or twice and Virgil as sitting in the window, watching the rain with the car in his lap. Look how far they've come. Look at how life has carried them. And look how special that the rain means to this couple.

Everything happened in the rain.

I'm so trash I got no advice, just go watch the 2019 Pride Videos again. I'm actually watching both parts currently while writing this. That's my advice.
