STORYTIME!

It's been years since Virgil cut off his string. His soulmate ended up being a horrible woman. She was abusive to him and scolded him for not "being a man". So what if Virgil likes makeup and has more of a feminine figure? Virgil stopped putting up with her after eleven years of knowing eachother. Virgil almost died in a car accident because of her, that's when he cut the string with a pocket knife he always keeps on him. Virgil doesn't know what happened to her. He doesn't care.

"Virgil! Come out here and stop moping around inside!"

VIrgil broke out of his pessimistic thoughts when he heard his boyfriend calling out to him through the open window. If the weather was nice enough, the first thing they do is open the windows in the front room of the house for the cats. The cats like having the windows open. Virgil also likes the sunshine. He just likes the comfortability of being inside.

"Can I just sit here with the cats a little bit more?"

"Nooooooo! I want you out here with me!"

Virgil sighed, rolling his eyes and going outside with his boyfriend. Well, almost husband. Virgil plans on waiting for the perfect moment. He has the ring in his hoodie pocket and always keeps it there. Patton was kinda like him. He was born without a string. Virgil cut his off. They found eachother by a miracle in a broken system. Virgil closed the door behind him and stood next to his boyfriend, hoodie off and tied around his waist. It was maybe eighty degrees outside give or take a handful. Patton breathed in a big swing of air and stretched his arms out, breathing out a sigh and wrapping his arm around his lover.

"The sun feels nice!"

Virgil didn't know what a normal person would respond to that sentence with, but he was entranced by the Constellations drawn all over his face and arms and neck. Patton has so many freckles while Virgil has maybe one on his entire body,

"You'll get more freckles that way."

Patton laughed at how embarrassed Virgil immediately got after he said something so stupid sounding. Patton happened to like the stupid stuff that just spills out of Virgil's mouth sometimes. It's an improvement to speaking his mind and feelings, and Patton is very proud of him for that too. Virgil has had a lot of character development, and Patton has as well. They both grow in his healthy relationship.

Just a short little Drabble. Sorry. I've been very busy with school and fucking athletics and yeah. It's just kinda rough but no worries because it'll all be fine. I don't expect to make tryouts knowing how much of a useless bastard I am so we all good. I'm sure my mental health and energy will go up in due time,

But I really hope you liked the fluffy little Soulmate AU Drabble! I tried my best to make it somewhat decent. I promise the next oneshot will be the real deal! I always get real lazy when a book is reaching the end...
