"one day national champions the next day third place, we cannot walk in there again mediocre alright we will be attending the Believe Talent competition in clombus Ohio now you know who's going to be in Ohio i bet Cathy's team is a better team i'm sure she's been working on this number for weeks if you guys go out and dance like last weekend she's going to win."

"alright let's get started with the pyramid, of course Payton for your behaviour to be so ugly over your hair i don't care if you're happy or sad or in pain i don't care! you go to that competition and you're representing me."

"and next Brooke, you missed a whole four counts on the floor you just rolled over infront of the judges."

"and next Nia, good week beautiful costume pretty girl did a nice job but do you preform the choreography do you go onstage like it's the last time you'll ever dance? no i don't think so."

"Mackenzie, lots of fooling around in the dressing room in everybody's way we need to work on that, understand?"

"next i have Paige, Paige you were apart of the high-score winning trio could you have done a better job? certainly."

"next we have Kendall, it was good same thing as Paige could've been better could've been outstanding."

"and next Kayla, you did an old tap routine and you still couldn't win with it, you were a first place dancer until you forgot that solo."

wait, that was like a year ago..then i won again..have i missed something?

"and next we have Chloe, Chloe you have the dancers body you have the look your technique shines through you can nail it."

"and on top of the pyramid overall high score routine of the day is Maddie."
we clap for Maddie

"i told every single one of you over the break that this is not going to be another year of Kayla and Maddie working their butts off with you all sitting around."

"Kendall, Chloe you both have solos this week we're going to see who my number two is i know who my number one girls are but who's right behind them?"

"Kendall, Chloe it's the battle of the pop stars, Chloe your routine is inspired by Katy Perry and Kendall you're going to be an extreme individual like Lady Gaga"

we clap for Chloe and Kendall

"everyone will be in the group routine the group routine is called Just Another Number, each one of you are just another number easily replaceable, moms you are dismissed girls spread apart"

we learn the group routine and it's a pretty routine it's basically everyone is the same expect for me

"Payton we need lunge to the ground and your foot is like a claw over here" Abby calls out
we carry on with the routine

Abby is counting as we dance

"i'm just a little concerned about Payton being in this number it's the same thing that came into play when she first auditioned for this group she doesn't look like a clone like the rest of them i mean like Chloe and Paige could be clones i don't know if you're working in this piece" Abby says

"okay girls you have two more days and then you're on a bus going down the yellow brick road and you're gonna meet the wicked witch along the way." Abby says and she dismisses us

|Competition Day|
we arrive at the competition and there's fans everywhere me and Chloe walk in hand in hand and we wave to fans 

we head to the dressing room and i start my makeup for the group

"alright Chloe let's go." Abby calls

and Chloe comes out

her costume is so pretty this week

"oh you look cute" Christi says

"i like the feathers." Abby says

"can i run my solo?" I hear Kendall say

"Kendall i don't need any brats! on this team it will not be tolerated if you cry one tear you will not be doing the solo and Kayla will go out and improv and watch who you are rolling your eyes out kiddo." Abby yells

"i think she was fighting back the tears she was not rolling her eyes she would not roll her eyes at you." Jill says

"alright Kendall, Chloe who is going to reign supreme at the end of this competition it better not be Lucas." Abby says

we head backstage with Kendall and Chloe for their solos
Lucas is up first with his solo and it's like s contemporary kinda latin dance?
he finishes his routine and exits the stage

Chloe was meant to go first but now it's Kendall so i don't know what happened there
"good luck Kendall" i smile to her

Kendall enters the stage and her costume is so nice this week
she starts off with her turns which she is nailing but then she falls

"oh no." Maddie says

"what happened?" Chloe asks

"she fell out of the turns." i say

Kendall does her routine and she finishes really strong

Maddie runs over to Kendall

i give Chloe a quick hug

"good luck and be confident" i say

Chloe nods

Chloe enters the the stage and she starts her routine and she is nailing it
her turns are clean and her faces are on point
she finishes her solo and i clap from backstage
she exits the stage and i give her a hug

we head back to the dressing room

"hey hey hey, good job couldve been better." Abby says to Chloe and Kendall

"you came out looked stunning gorgeous then choked on that first turn fell backwards out of it, you watched her from the wings saw her blow the first turn and then played it safe had she gone out and nailed that turn you would've been a mess going out there going after her got it?"

"wait guys listen.. do you hear it?" Christi says

"oh it's beautiful" Jill says

"it's quiet." Christi says

mom starts on Kenzies hair for the group then mine and Maddies

we then get into our costumes

group costume:

we go over our routine

"alright this is it i don't want another third place, so go out there and impress these judges let's go" Abby says

we head backstage for the group routines

"put your hands together for Just Another Number" the announcer says

all the girls enter but me i then run on and get into my place and our music starts

i make sure all my solo bits are clean and my emotion is on point we finish the routine in a line and me reaching out i exit an opposite way then the rest of the girls

the Candy Apples are up next and they enter the stage their routine is very nice this week they finish their routine and exit the stage

"alright here we go 9-11 solo advance category" the announcer says

i take Chloes hand

"here we go starting with fifth place.. will be entry number 12 Demand Applause Kendall."
we clap for Kendall and she gets her award

"fourth place regional champion ladies and gentlemen goes too entry number 13 Lucas"
we clap for Lucas

i squeeze Chloes hand

"third place regional champion will be entry number 9."

"your second place regional champion Chloe."

we clap for Chloe and she gets her award

they take a bow and they sit back down and i give Chloe a hug

"now 9-11 overall small group"

"your second place regional champion will be number 37 i believe"

i give Chloe a hopeful smile

"your overall 9-11 small group regional champion will be Just Another Number"

we get up cheering and  we get our award

we come into the dressing rooms and the moms cheer

"so you beat them you were number one but let's face it this was our second competition it's the beginning of the season you have a long road ahead of you cause i'm having open call auditions people will be fighting for your spots on the this team" Abby says

i really hate this audition thing..

"now Kendall today was a disappointment and i think you're disappointed in yourself i've seen you dance  better, Chloe you were supposed to dance first i don't know what happened backstage but you went after her you learnt from her mistake but today they helped you out you gave a nice clean performance you backed of the turns you didn't go for broke you played it safe and it worked out in your favour"

"Maddie or Kayla have some opportunity you're my number two girl to go too."
i give Chloe a slight smile

"now Payton i'm gonna dismiss every no i'm not going to dismiss everyone i have giving you countless of opportunities to be part of this team but your mother's behaviour today is unacceptable and i don't want you to follow in her footsteps."

"yeah i didn't start trouble i didn't start trouble you told me to shut up in public im supposed to take that, what more do you want from us?" Leslie says

"there comes a time when your kid has to stand on their own two feet and mommy has to quit fighting Leslie stop fighting! i'm not the enemy i'm your kids best friend!" Abby yells

"i said maybe she fell out of her turns because of her shoe and you told me to shut up" Leslie says

"because that is not your place! that is not your place!" Abby yells

"no! no! you do not disrespect me you ever to tell me shut up you were wrong Abby you were wrong!" Leslie yells
"this is a dance competition i am a dance teacher i have kissed your ass i let you come back." Abby says

we then get directed out by Gia to get changed
