we arrive at the dance studio and we wave to Abby and Gia before going into the dancers den

"alright let's go girls come on! how would you walk into an open call energy!" Abby says as we run into studio A

"alright now this week i'm excited i have an open audition im looking for the next big thing, i get more headshots and resemes in the mail with questions on how to be apart of the Abby Lee Dance Company and i said hey show up and audition, who am i replacing? what do i need them to do? when are they available?"

"we will be travelling to Orlando Florida.. Melissa can i have Maddie, Kayla and Mackenzie go early with me and help with the audition?"

"yeah." mom says

"would you guys like to do that?" Abby asks

"yes." me and Maddie says and Kenzie nods

"okay alright so that's the plan." Abby says

"wait so since this isn't a competition can Payton.. she can do that too." Leslie says

"they all can do it but she picked those three." Jill says

"see Leslie.. now  this is where your mother acts a yahoo over there." Abby says

"i know they might be things to say in private to not embarrass your daughter."

"alright i left Clombus Ohio competing against the wicked witch of the west without a overall high score solo whoever i choose out of this group to put in to do a solo in that competition has to win, let me start the pyramid."

"Payton you knew that was coming it's sad because you aren't there because of your dancing."

"she wouldn't be there then because she didn't do anything wrong." Leslie says

"but you did." Abby says

"and next we have Kendall."

"why- why." Jill asks

"you were given an opportunity of a lifetime top five im looking for number one, you know what you have to quit the crying crap." Abby says

"and next we have Nia, Nia just another number i'm still seeing technical issues."

"and next we have Paige, same thing nice job in the group routine and your mother didn't interrupt."

"moving on we have Mackenzie, i almost pulled you out of the number you were this close in rehearsal to getting yanked."

"next we have Brooke, Brooke why does it have to be all the singing or all the dancing why can't it be both you can do that but you have to perform."

"you held back Chloe, you were supposed to dance first Kendall went first eighty some competitions you have under your belt figure out what you did in your routine that you could've done better to beat that little ten year old at her first dance competition"

"and then we have Maddie, outstanding work it was good."

"thank you." Maddie says

"and on top of the pyramid in just another number is Kayla, you were phenomenal acting was great you really redeemed yourself after that solo." Abby says

"thank you." i say

"this week we are doing a group routine the music is actually called losing you so i might be losing one of you, i have three solos first one going to Kayla you're doing a routine entitled Butterfly" Abby says

i smile

"Maddie you're doing a uh piece entitled Down My Spine and Mackenzie you're doing a solo jazz and acrobatics it's called Take It To Go."

"then i have a trio, see no evil speak no evil hear no evil so Brooke you're going to be lead Chloe, Paige you are her backup dancers"

"alright moms i want you to tweet about the open auditions"

"we're not tweeting for replacements for our daughters are we cause that's a little awkward." Holly says

"uh darn it you're the only one who was smart enough to figure it out why did you say anything Holly." Abby says

"she's the smart one in the group." mom says

"Melissa can you tweet for me?" Abby asks

"yes." mom answers

the moms then get dismissed

we start learning the group and it's a pretty lyrical number Kenzie isn't in it this week because Abby wants her focuses on her solo

we are going over the group routine

"stop, Nia you're in the front you're right there infront of a judge with a sickled foot you're going to be on a plane we can't rehearse on the plane!" Abby says

we carry on with the group

"i'm leaving early to get to Orlando to have that open call audition to find the next one of you alright you're out of here where's that trio."

"alright let's go Maddie and Kayla one time through then you're both dismissed." Abby says

"stand there and watch your competition" Abby says to Kenzie

Maddie goes over her solo first and it's so gorgeous

then Abby goes over mine

i learnt it yesterday it's a lyrical routine to the song Butterfly's response and it's a pretty routine with a lot of arm work and turns

but Abby is making Kenzie rub her foot and it's so funny trying to do my solo and watch Kenzie rub Abby's foot
she then gives Kenzie 20 bucks

"okay you're both good, Mackenzie let's go." Abby says

then me and Maddie leave studio A

"i want half of Kenzies twenty bucks" i say

"you think Kenzie our little sister Mackenzie will give you half of her money?" Maddie says

"no but there's hope" i say

"keep dreaming." Maddie says

|Open Call Audition|
it's the open call and me Maddie and Kenzie and mom are in Orlando early to help and i love Orlando

"Hello my name is Abby Lee Miller i'm here from Pittsburg Pennsylvania this is a real audition so i hope everybody is here because they want to be apart of the Abby Lee Elite Competition Team i'm not looking for someone who is second place i'm looking for somebody that can be my first place when Maddie and Kayla aren't dancing watch Maddie and Kayla, music!" Abby says

we me and Maddie start doing the combo for the audition

we go over it a few times then we get intro groups so Abby can start cutting people

Abby cuts some people and then we continue on with the audition

"okay you can go you can stay, stay, stay, you can dance in between Maddie and Kayla." Abby says and pushes some girl up next to us

"one more chance please Abby?" some mom says

"when she's on broadway call me, i'll get tickets.. let's go" Abby says

"i don't know who's this kids mom but she's leaving with me anywhere."

"that's Fallon i'm her mother." Fallons mom says

"what studio?" Abby asks

"she is with New Dimensions currently." Fallons mom says

"currently what does that mean?" Abby asks

"oh we've previously from a studio from studio 5D then she's been with New Dimensions." Fallons mom says

we carry on with the audition

"i just want kids that want it that want to be the very best that you can be and i'm a frim believer of working smart not always working hard you are our Orlando's finalists." Abby says

|Competition Day|
we arrive at the competition and we head into the dressing room
i start my makeup for my solo

"you know are we sure Jill's landed." Christi says

"she hasn't texted me back and i said im freaking out right now." mom says as she does my bun in my hair.

"if the group was on first i'd be livid right now this is a commitment that she made she doesn't choose between this team and her family i'll make the choice for her" Abby says

"but you wouldn't replace Jill or Kendall based on today would you?" Holly says

Abby shrugs

and my mom started sewing my headpiece around my bun

then Kendall and Jill comes through the door

i go get my costume

"nice for you to join us." Christi says

"i had Ryleighs event last night." Jill says

i get my costume on

Kaylas solo costume with the headpiece around the bun:

i come out and put my half soals on and start stretching

we head backstage for the solos and the trio

"this is entry number 19 this is Maddie with down my spine." the announcer says

i clap for Maddie and she enters the stage and starts her solo it's so gorgeous this week Maddie is going to be hard to beat this week she finishes her solo and exits the stage

i give Maddie a hug

"this is entry number 20 Kayla with Butterfly."

i enter the stage and go into my starting pose

i make sure to give my all i really

love my routine because of the arms being like my wings. i finish my routine with ten a la secondes into my ending pose and i exit the stage

Maddie hugs me

Kenzie is up next and me and Maddie go to the audience to watch Kenz, her costume is so cute her solo is so adorable this week she is nailing all her tricks she finishes her solo

"GO KENZ!" i cheer for Kenzie

the trio is next and they enter the stage and i live their costumes i really love the trio it looks so to perform they finish the trio and they exit the stage

next thing we know is that my mother runs across the stage

"sorry Abby they're making me do this.. i took my shoes off" mom says

i gasp

"oh my god." Maddie mumbles

"pretend you do not know her" Abby says to me and Maddie

then she comes back across

"is she being serious?" Maddie asks

"oh lord give me strength." i mumble and i put my head in my hands

after more performances we hear back to the dressing room

we enter the dressing room

"your dance was okay, your tricks were clean your arms were good you did turns they looked alright but you play it very safe so you need to start stepping it up." Abby says

"i'm listening." Kenzie says

"you're listening? okay so what can you do to be more like Asia, Kayla, Maddie i don't know if you believe in yourself." Abby says

we get ready for the group routine

Group costume:

we then head backstage to go over the group routine then Payton falls so Gia and Brooke go to get the moms

"what happened?" Leslie comes out saying

"you tripped over? what did you trip over?"

"Kendall's foot." Payton says

"she didn't trip over her foot." Maddie whispers to me

i look to her confused

"tell me now pain on one to ten." Abby asks

"nine." Payton says

"get over there and start reblocking this number."  Abby says

we go over and we start reblocking the number without Payton

the hospital comes for Payton and she and Leslie leaves

we head backstage to perform the group routine and i'm nervous because we just re blocked it

"this is a junior small group entry number 68 Smells Like Team Spirit." the announcer says

we enter the stage

our music starts and we start the routine i make sure i really nail it this week we finish the routine and exit the stage

"we are going to start off in our elite mini solo division of competition." the announcer says

"in second place with a score of 277 points is miss Tea"

"and your highest scoring mini soloist with a score of 279.4 points is miss Mackenzie with act number 18 Take It To Go."
we clap

for Kenzie and she gets her award

"alright now for our elite junior soloist."

i take Maddies hand

"in second place with a score of 279.4 is Down My Spine."

i clap for Maddie and she gets her award

Chloe reaches over for my hand and squeezes it

"you highest scoring elite junior solo with a score of 283.2 points is Butterfly."

i smile and i get up to get my award

they hand me my plaque and i smile to my mom.

we take a bow and sit back down

the trio ends up getting second place.

"now for elite junior small groups"

"starting off in second place eight a score of 270 points is act number 66 is Birmingham sundae"

"ladies and gentlemen your highest scoring small group with a score of 281.2 points is act number 68 smells like team spirit."

we all get up and we get our award and i hug Chloe

we take a bow and we head to the dressing room

"so i think Maddie, Kayla and Mackenzie are safe, congratulations " Abby says

i smile to Maddie and give her a side hug

i didn't think we would be replaced but it's nice knowing we won't be replaced.
