last week was pretty successful and i didn't let Abby down! so i'm very happy
we all walk into studio A for pyramid

"i wanna start talking a little bit about Dance Troop in Greensberg North Carolina, that was not the group in Lake Taho that just won a national championship obviously cute still works in the Carolinas, Kendall you did your solo scared to death that face was not a Abby Lee Miller face that's for certain" Miss Abby says

"but Abby that was her first time" Jill starts

"uh shhh we don't get to talk it's my turn, this weekend we are headed to Columbus Ohio you know who lives in Ohio" Miss Abby says

"Candy Apple woohoo!" Chloe cheers

and we all cheer

"we are going there and she will be at the competition i don't want any squawking between the mothers you're all on the same team and we're all going to take a bite out of the big apple." Miss Abby says

we all laugh

"alright we are going to start with the pyramid.. on the bottom Kendall you are on probation that means i am watching you like a hawk do you understand me?"

"Mackenzie i keep giving you little parts you're dancing is not up to where the rest of the girls are, when Maddie and Kayla were seven they could've done the choreography."

"Brooke you knew the number but the crying and the hysteria that's not a young adult"

"Paige, you did a nice job this weekend then on the bus coming home we told you to sit down 32 times i counted that's 31 too many"

"every single one of them where playing around the bus-" Kelly says

"but it's doesn't make it right! but she's your daughter!" Miss Abby says

"well tell them to yell at them too!" Kelly fights back

"Nia i left you here in the same spot you were in last week, maybe somebody from Nias family could show up at the competition and watch her and clap for her." Miss Abby says 

"next we have Chloe, Chloe you did a great job."

"Maddie you did a good job, i've seen you dance better."

"and on top, Kayla you did a good job, number was clean but i want you to be good in all styles and not just lyrical and jazz"

"every single person is going to be in the group dance it is called Bad Apples it's a little 40s has a little novelty but it's a little Katy Perry it's a little picked up so i want the pin up girl look we have the rat we have the snood" Miss Abby says

um what?

"you don't know what a rat and a snood is go google it and figure it out, when you go onstage for that competition you better be on fire. Brooke you're doing a solo Cathy has a girl entered your age i want you to make apple sauce out of that kid backstage i want you to freak that kid out i want that kid in tears before she steps on that stage"

"alright candy apples apple sauce squish them, alright moms dismissed girls spread apart" Miss Abby says

this week the group dance is like a jazz musical theatre number and i really like it

"5,6,7,8 eh" Miss Abby says

"PLEA WHEN YOU LAND TURN OUT, TURN OUT!" Miss Abby yells

Miss Abby then hands us our costumes and there black and red and i love them!

i'm in the dancers den with Chloe

"where's Maddie?" i ask

"doing her solo." Chloe says

"did Miss Abby give her a last minute one?" i ask

"it's not being filmed so it doesn't count really." Chloe says

"oh right okay" i say

|Travel Day|
i'm excited for the competition this weekend and i'm a bit more relaxed since i don't have a solo but i really wish i had one

i'm beside Chloe on the bus and we are just playing around waiting for Abby

"apparently Kelly's not riding the bus, she said because Abby said that Paige walked about 32 times and she has to yell at her 32
times and that's she's just gonna follow." Christi says

"Mackenzie said she didn't do that thirty two times mom i know she didn't." Mom says

"so does that mean we get to hear Abbys mouth less thirty two times?" Christi says

"i think she'll find someone else to be annoyed with." Holly says

"i'm glad i'm here on the bus then i can stone all these costumes" Mom says

"i would prefer to drive the bus cause it makes me sick" Christi says

"oh." Jill says

"except i'm not gonna get all Cathy on us be like the bus the bus the bus!" Christi mocks

"can we go home and get that thing?" Nia walks up to Holly and asks

"nope, they're not gonna let us go anywhere" Holly says

"they might." Nia says

"they're not, but Nia we've been here for an hour or an hour and a half." Holly says

"Okay." Nia says and walks back to her seat

Abby eventually shows up and we drive to the competition

"keep your heads up high alright?" Miss Abby says to us as we walk in

"hi how are you?" Miss Abby says to Cathy

"you have a curler." Cathy says to Abby

everyone laughs

"very fashionable!" Cathy says

"nobody could tell me?" Miss Abby says to us jokingly

we laugh and walk on to the dressing room

"ladies think of everything i yelled at you about five days ago, four days ago, three days ago, two days ago yesterday go over that dance this is really important to me personally it's really important to your moms." Miss Abby tells us while we get ready

Group costumes:

"Kendall this is about you getting an Abby Lee Dance Company jacket or going back to the regular classes." Miss Abby says to Kendall

after we get ready we all head backstage

i'm beside kendall and cathy walks up to us

"are you the new girl?" Cathy asks Kendall

"yeah." Kendall says

"oh well good luck" Cathy says

"thank you." Kendall says

our music starts and we all enter and i notice Kendall enters do early and if Nia happened to go any slower Kendall would've ran into her
we finish the dance around the basket and i think we did pretty well
we all head back to the dressing room

"well that went down the tubes didn't it?" Miss Abby says

"What?" Jill asks

"well when Kendall goes early and doesn't hold and doesn't listen to the music you need to learn read music and you need to learn to hear it." Miss Abby says

"girls this was an easy baby dance."

ouch.

"But Abby don't you think the other girls were much older than ours?" Jill says

"that's my job i need to worry about that." Miss Abby says

"don't you think those girls were much older than nine and ten years old." Jill says

"no i don't think they were nine and ten however i look like an idiot that i just can't win from our own talent and choreography and costumes that i have to call somebody because the kids are too old and i'm a little worried i think you should be worried too." Miss Abby tells us

Brookes solo is up next and her costume is gorgeous and her performance was gorgeous
but some of the competition was questioning Brookes age but we got it sorted thankfully

we all cheer!
