"moms let's go! get in here!" Abby calls as we all run in

"congratulations we said that eleven was heaven we played tribute to the award winning show Kinky Boots and we did it justice we won"

we all clap

"alrighty now you all see that Kalani is here, Payton is back with us i'm very excited to introduce the new permanent replacement for Brooke and Paige, more importantly for Kelly..Kira congratulations you will be replacing Kelly on this team, Kalani will be replacing Brooke and Paige."

i look to Kalani and smile and i clap for her

"Abby Payton did what you asked her to do you are just trying to find a reason to throw us of the team this week." Leslie says
"no" Abby says

"you have Payton who is right here who shows up at your studio four or five days a week and you still are going to by pass her and nails every role..every single role that you ask for we follow don't ask me to congratulate Kira for being here it's not going to happen and that's just your games your head games." Leslie says

"alright Leslie..Kalani can do it all" Abby says

"let's get to the pyramid now.. on the bottom Kalani, you're new it's up to you to work your way up."

"and next we have Kendall, you were going through the motions you have to give me more"

"next Nia, i thought you were an outstanding drag queen but you're the one on this team that had previous experience as your mother so kindly pointed out."

"and the next one is Chloe, Chloe you were chosen to do a solo you did a contemporary routine in a gorgeous costume and you got beat by a nine year old doing a hand me down dance with a hand me down costume."

"moving on is Mackenzie, i gave her Maddies iconic cry solo to see if she could measure up you think she did measure up i didn't get the same feeling when Maddie takes the stage or when Kayla did the solo."

"next we have Maddie, your performance was better than any broadway show."

"thank you" Maddie smiles

"and next i have the lead in our group routine Payton, she had to transform herself into a boy into a girl all that and that's why you're here today." Abby says

"and next we have Kayla, you're here because you were the highest scoring routine of the entire competition you're performance was breathtaking"

"thank you" i smile

"and on top of the pyramid this week.." Abby says and she reveals the headshot to be Kelly

Jill starts to laugh and i start to laugh along with the other girls

"well it's the only time she's going to get anywhere" Abby says and laughs

"Christi doesn't find it funny." Leslie says

"come on we have work to do World Class Talent we loved it so much we're going back again!" Abby says
we clap

"this time we're going to..Canton Ohio."

we all groan

Cathy..

"we are going to the apple orchard..we have a group routine right now everybody is in it the routine we are doing is Frost and each and every one of you took a costume from another competition we did and took them home with you and they're white and they are beautiful and you are in trouble if you don't bring them tomorrow to rehearsal."

"what about the ones who don't have that costume?" Leslie asks

"oh wait a minute Christi..Kelly has two sets of the costume" Abby says

"call her attorney i'm not getting involved." Christi says

"no you need to go get it from her she's your buddy" Abby says

"no" Christi shakes her head

"Christi come on shes your friend" Abby says

"we have two solos the first solo is going to Kalani and Payton will be doing our other solo."

"we also have a duet with Kayla and Chloe.." Abby says

i gasp and i attack Chloe in a hug

"you haven't had a duet in a while so make it count"

i beam to Chloe

"alright moms you wanna head upstairs remember figure out who's getting those costumes" Abby says

we start learning the group routine and it's absolutely stunning

"right now we have seven dancers on the floor and not everyone's doing this number because we don't have enough costumes" Abby says

we go over the number again

"so you take this music you go home and you know it you can move the furniture out of the way in the living room and you do it over and over until it's perfection understood?"

"yes" we say

"because i want a twelfth up on my shelf" Abby says

we all then get dismissed

|Two Days To Competition|
we arrive at the studio and mom hands Abbys the costume and we head into the dancers den

|Group Rehearsals|
we are going over the group and i make sure it's perfect

"Payton stop! Kendall was that a plié? was that really a grand plié ? do it again" Abby yells

"you can all thank Christi for my mood she stood at my front desk and yelled the f word seventeen times thats sickening!" Abby yells again

Chloe starts to cry

"Chloe it has nothing to do with you, you are a wonderful little girl and everybody likes you."

i walk over and give Chloe a quick hug

"listen up! i don't come into your house and scream at you or your parents like that! you made a choice to come here no body is going to talk to me that way.. no one! next person who says the f word you are out!" Abby yells

Abby then dismisses us

i hug Chloe again when we are in the dancers den

|Duet Rehearsals|
"okay so the duet is entitled Haunted it's a gorgeous piece now you should be grateful you are still doing this number after the way your mother spoke to me? consider yourself lucky" Abby says to Chloe

we start learning the duet and it's a very strong duet it's to the song Haunted by Taylor Swift but i really love it
it has a lot of partner work and turns

at the end i do a knee drop into my ending pose laying down and Chloe reaches out to me while standing

"that looks fine but Chloe watch your counts." Abby says before we get dismissed

Abby has me Maddie Kalani and Kendall do the group routine

"there's your group." Abby says

i do my final turn sequence with Kalani and Maddie and Kendall frozen behind me

and we finish the group off

"okay that's it we have four costumes out have five that's what should dance it's my professional redemption that these four do it as a small group that's what should happen." Abby says

"okay Payton let's have you do your solo."

Payton then does her solo

then Abby has Kalani do her solo

and it's really pretty

she finishes her solo and Abby claps

"let me see the duet" Abby says

i get up and me and Chloe run through the duet

i make sure everything i do is strong and on the turns i keep in time with Chloe

we finish the duet and Abby nods

the moms then come in with old dance costumes.

Abby and Leslie have a fight over costumes and Abby dismisses Payton from the group

we the try on some old costumes

my costume is an old recital costume one of the older girls wore when i was younger

"alright girls turn around and face front" Abby says

we all turn around

Chloe and Nia have the head over heels costume we wore two years ago i'm surprised Chloes still fits her because she's gotten taller

"so now expect for Payton the group dance we're good with costumes" Holly asks

Abby then has us run over the dance with the costumes

"listen sometimes people don't play fair and that's why i'm tough on you and that's why i train you twelve victories in a row or you get beat it's a long ride home when you don't have the trophy on the bus" Abby says

|Competition Day|
we arrive at the competition and we head to the dressing rooms

the soloists are up first so they start getting ready

"i don't even know what way she's doing her hair because the costume that you have her doesn't fit her" Leslie says

"it's a medium adult we have bigger ones honey we didn't you say something?" Abby asks

"you didn't give her the time you took all your time out on Kalani" Leslie says

"you just need a large adult.. so you obviously can't wear this so you don't wanna dance that's fine.. Kayla you brought your solo costume right?" Abby asks

i look to mom and i nod

"the one David designed for the solo she learnt over the break yes." mom says

"Kayla put that on you're dancing" Abby says

my eyes widen and i turn to put my makeup on quickly and Maddie rushes to help

"no no find her a costume find her something to wear we wanna dance" Leslie defends

"in that particular brand you need large adult she's a hard to fit upper body" Abby says

my mom does my hair in a bun and starts to sew my piece in while i do my makeup

"we would've known this if you done your job in the studio.. where's her custom costume like everybody else? has she ever had a beautiful costume when she travelled" Leslie says

"no because i don't care anymore" Abby says

"why" Leslie asks

"it's not worth the aggravation for you to talk to me this way" Abby says

i finish my makeup and mom comes over to help me with my headpiece

"me? you bring in it upon yourself treating us this way by bringing Kalani in as your student she's going to use your name and leave" Leslie says

"oh woah woah woah" Kira says

"do not tell me what i'm doing"

"you will use her name and you will leave" Leslie says

Leslie and Kira start to fight and mom finishes my headpiece and i run to get my costume on

Kaylas solo costume with the hair clip at the back of the bun:

"you give you give you give you give nothing in return" Leslie says

"you're an embarrassment to this team!" Abby yells

"you're sabotaging my daughter!" Leslie yells

"she should've called me last night" Abby starts

"you are f*cking perfect aren't you." Leslie says

"what did you just say?" Abby asks

"you are f*cking perfect aren't you" Leslie says

"people who represent the Abby Lee Dance Company don't use the f word so you're done." Abby says

"so you aren't going to let Payton do her solo today" Leslie asks

"no.. get out" Abby says

"don't ask me back ever." Leslie says and storms out

Maddie and Chloe help me stretch and i only get to run through the number one time before we head backstage

i mark through my solo while Nick from CADC does his solo

i'm competing in the junior category so i'm not against Kalani or Nick

"i'm so nervous" i whisper

"you're going to do amazing" Chloe whispers

"i haven't done this solo onstage before" i whisper

"you'll be fine" Maddie whispers and hugs me

Kalanis solo is up next and i mark my routine again

Kalani finishes her solo and i get ready to go on

"welcome act number 24 Kayla with Broken" the announcer says

i enter the stage and my music starts (the music is Broken by Aaron Seabra)

i perform my solo to the best that i can making sure my emotion is good and i do the right steps

i finish my solo and i see my mom and Abby cheering i exit the stage

and Maddie, Chloe and Kalani give me a hug

we head back to the dressing room and me and Chloe get dressed for our duet

Kayla and Chloe's duet costume:

we run through the duet and then we head backstage

"love you" i whisper to Chloe before we go on

"love you too" Chloe whispers

"please welcome to the stage in the junior division Chloe and Kayla with Haunted" the announcer says

me and Chloe enter the stage our music starts and we start the routine

i make sure my emotion really shines and that i nail my partner work with Chloe

we finish the duet and i think our sync was amazing we exit the stage and i run round to Chloe and give her the biggest hug

"that was so good" i say

"i really liked that" Chloe says

"i missed doing duets with you" i say

"hopefully we get more" Chloe says

i smile and nod

me and Chloe then run to get ready for the group routine

Kaylas group costume and headpiece:

"listen to me ladies i'm a little nervous we're in their hometown the only thing they can't mess with is your performance out there when you step out on that stage you have one shot one shot to prove to those judges that you are the higher score prove to those judges we win because we work hard because we're dedicated and because technically we are superior understand?" Abby says

"yes" we all say

we head backstage for the group dance

"up next is 109 please welcome to the stage Maddie, Kayla, Chloe, Nia, Kendall, Mackenzie and Kalani" the announcer says as

we all enter the crowd cheers really loud and they keep cheering and Kalani starts the routine but i can't hear the music

the other girls start and i'm already a beat behind

once i can hear the music i get back on track and and i really make sure this is perfect because of my mishap

i do my last turn sequence into my ending pose and the crowd cheers

we exit the stage

"guys the beginning" Kalani says

"no body could hear it" Chloe says

"i was a beat behind you guys at the start Abby is going to freak out" i say getting worried

"i missed my turn" Maddie says

"we're going to get killed" Chloe says

"i never mess up like this" Maddie says

"stop don't cry my god" Kenzie says

"no but you don't get it, it had to be perfect.. it- i wasn't perfect" i say getting upset

"you're fine" Chloe says and hugs me

"we were good we have to act" Kalani says

"you were too worried" Maddie pipes in

"we have to act that we were perfect.. we were perfect" Kalani says

"our junior division overalls.." rhe announcer starts

i take Maddie and Kalanis hand

the top nine is announced and it hasn't been me

"our first overall junior soloist is act number 36 Broken"

i beam and i get my trophy i look to my mom and Abby who is cheering

i take a bow and i sit down

"we are now going to go to our class division overall solo category" the announcer says

Kalanis hand

"fourth overall goes to act number 57 bye bye blackbird"

"third overall goes to act number 35 beautiful you"

Nick gets up to get his award and i squeeze Kalanis hand

second place gets announced

"and our first overall in the teen category unless you say you're sorry"

i clap for Kalani as she gets her award

"we are now going to move into our top then duo/trios"

i take Chloe's hand

the top nine gets announced and i squeeze Chloe's hand

"our first place duo/trio goes to act number 54 Haunted" i smile and me and Chloe stand up to get our award

i give Chloe a hug and we take a bow and sit back down

"moving onto our junior small group category in the advance division"

"third overall goes to act 92 borrowed angels"

"second overall goes to act 108 the last dance"

i shake Maddies hand and give her a small smile

as CADC gets their award

"our first overall goes to act 109 Frost"

we jump up screaming and we get our award i give Kenzie a hug

we won!

"what's your studio?"

"ABBY LEE DANCE COMPANY!" we scream

and Kenzie holds up the trophy

we all run into the dressing room cheering

"one two three" Kendall starts

"we are Abby Lee!" we all chant

"four five six" we pitch in

"you should see our kicks!"

"seven and eight!"

"we are really great!"

"nine and ten!"

"we just won again!"

"eleven and twelve"

"we have one on our shelf!"

we all start to cheer
