today is the people's choices awards and Maddie got nominated! so me, mom and Abby are going with her Kenzie was meant to have Abbys plus one ticket but sadly Kenzie is back home helping her team at Hollywood Vibe

so me and Maddie are currently getting ready

"you're makeup looks amazing" mom says

"i love it" Maddie says

"i feel like a professional" i say

Maddie finishes up and i get my hair done

"you're against Bella Thorne who i know you're friends with..Ruby Rose who's in Orange Is The New Black she's beautiful" mom says

"never heard of her keep going" Abby says

"Kylie Jenner." mom continues

"it's okay if i don't win because" Maddie says

"well Maddie you've always been my choice." Abby says

"excuse me other twin sitting right here" i fake gasp

"and you aswell i suppose" Abby says

Maddie laughs

"i love your hair" Maddie says

"thanks i love yours aswell" i say and i check it out on my phone

"who are you taking to the people's choice?" mom asks

"i don't know" Abby says

Jill then comes round the corner

"oh hi!" mom says

"oh hey..you're tan" Jill says

"she is tan" mom says

"do you wanna see my dress it's so pretty" i say and i drag Maddie out of the room

"ooh it's pretty" Maddie says

"you need to get more nominations because you make me feel like i'm a celebrity" i say

"who says you get to go?" Maddie asks

"um i'm your sister i'm a free pass" i say

"aren't i lucky" Maddie says

"yes very lucky" i smile

|Pyramid|
"girls we have a lot to get done today.. welcome back minis! welcome three new faces today, it's nice to have you all here..okay moving on girls congratulations on the group dance last week" Abby says

we all clap

"so let's get to the pyramid okay?"

"at the bottom of the pyramid Mackenzie, Mackenzie is not here this week."

"and next on the pyramid is Kalani, you were rushing and you are better than that"

"okay next on the pyramid we have Nia, but i'm gonna move Nia up and i'm gonna move Nia to right here"

we all clap for Nia

"because at ten o'clock last night she served as my demonstrater during my class"

"next on the pyramid JoJo, i think i pretty much said it all about learning to dance with the group you blended"

"next we have Kendall, third..right along with Brynn."

"Kendall you acted i believed you were drowning you were taking your last breath..Brynn you were someone else you transformed and i saw personality come through"

"and obviously next is Kayla, i think you portrayed Bonnie Parker well and the judges thought so aswell"

i smile and nod

"and uh on top of the pyramid Maddie."

we clap and cheer for Maddie

"Maddie of course was our overall highscore winner..tonight is a very exciting evening it's The People's Choice Awards and our very own Maddie Ziegler has been nominated for a people's choice award" Abby says

we clap and cheer for Maddie

"alright this week we are travelling all the way to plinsha California we will attend the Dream Dance Competition alright the mini group will be performing a jazz routine the name of the dance is The Monsters and my Junior Elite competition team your routine is entitled The Vultures and there's only two solos this week and it's going to Maddie and Kayla"

i smile to Maddie

"Maddie you're going to be performing a prestigious routine entitled The People's Choice....Or Not"

"wait that's what it's called The People's Choice Or Not?" Maddie asks

i start laughing

"and Kayla your solo is entitled You're Not Sorry..do you remember who you said those words too?" Abby asks

i furrow my eyebrows

"no?" i say

"Maddie." Abby says

i think for a moment

when did i say that to Maddie...oh

i sigh

"alright so we're going to get started yes?" Abby says

"my hair." i say

"i'm not dancing with my hair" Maddie adds

|Group Rehearsals|
"the group routine is entitled The Vultures it's a little different they protect the nest alright let's go" Abby says
we do learn the group and me and Maddie have to dance with our hair against our will

"Brynn look up where they're looking" Abby calls out

"ooh pretty..okay you guys go in the other room i wanna figure out what jewerly and shoes i'm wearing" Abby says

me and Maddie then go and get our dresses and shoes on

Kaylas outfit:

"oh you girls look beautiful" mom says

"thanks" i smile

we walk out and past the moms

"have fun girls and good luck Maddie" Holly says

"thank you" Maddie says

and we go out and into the car

Abby comes on out with us and she didn't end up taking anyone and we go to the awards

it's honestly the best night i met so many incredible people and the red carpet was phenomenal and on the big plus Maddie won! i'm the proudest sister ever!

|Two Days To Competition|
we walk in and the girls cheer and hug Maddie

"i can't believe you won!" Kalani squeals

"it was the coolest thing ever!" I say

"it was such a cool experience" Maddie beams

|Solo Rehearsals|
"now your sister just won The People's Choice how do you feel?" Abby asks

"i'm so proud of her" i say

Abby nods

"but a couple years ago..something happened and you got mad with your sister and you told her she isn't sorry so that's what this number is all about" Abby says

i nod

i learn my solo and it's to You're Not Sorry by Taylor Swift

i really do like the number and i get to put emotion i felt at the time into it but it's like a dig to Maddie and me i guess

i finish the number by doing a tilt and then standing in the centre and i roll my eyes which will be at the judges and i walk to the side

"that looks good" Abby says

|Competition Day|
we arrive at the competition and we head to the dressing room and me and Maddie get ready for our solos

"so Maddie what happens next? do you stay with the ALDC next season?" Jill says

"i mean obviously i want to stay dancing" Maddie says

"as of right now" mom adds

i look at mom confused..are we leaving and i just don't know?

Kaylas solo costume:

"hey, hey" Abby says as she walks into the dressing room

"hi" Maddie says

"so Maddie and Kayla come in get up here let's go" Abby says

me and Maddie walk to Abby

"i want children in the audience to go i want to be like Maddie or i want to be like Kayla alright? let's go" Abby says

we head backstage for the solos

"you'll be amazing you just won an amazing award show them why..love you" i say

"love you too" Maddie says

Maddie enters for her solo and she starts her routine and it's gorgeous

if she doesn't win i'll be surprised but i also wanna win so

Maddie finishes her solo and i cheer for her

she exits the stage and i give her a huge hug

"that was beautiful" I say

"thanks..good luck" Maddie smiles

"welcome entry number 10.3 You're Not Sorry" the announcer says

i enter for my solo and my music starts and i put so much emotion

like how i felt on the day i make sure everything is flawless

and that i do well, i do my ending and i just walk offstage

the crowd cheers and Maddie hugs me

"that was so good" Maddie says

"thanks" i smile

we head back the dressing room and mom hugs us

"you girls looked beautiful i'm so proud" mom says

i smile

we get ready for the group routine and our costumes are so good

Group costume:

"girls i have a surprise for you..come on in" Abby says and these to little girls who are clearly hip hoppers come in
Abby Lee Miller did not just bring in two girls to go up against this trio

"hey guys! how are you?" Abby asks

"Abby are we gonna run the trio?" Sari asks

"girls i need..these two are dancing right now these two little ones alright" Abby says

we watch the girls run through the hip hop routine

"girls i understand it was a group that there were six children three of them kinds of stabbed you in the back didnt they?" Abby says

"i mean let's just go dance, you haven't even noticed them" Kerri says

"what are you talking about? i notice them" Abby says

"sweetheart if you can look like Maddie and Kayla or any of these kids behind me give me a call" Abby directs to Peyton

"oh my gosh what are you talking about?" Kerri asks

"you are the people i don't want to work with" Abby says

"the people?" Kerri asks

"you represent a whole entire culture you do" Abby says

"back in the day you dropped your kids off at dance class you talked to the teacher you let them do their job and you went back and you picked them up" Abby says

"come on it's okay..let them go practise at least" Jill says

i start to walk towards the three girls

"no no let her see what her mother is like" Abby says

"no no i'm not gonna let her walk all over you" Kerri says to Peyton

"and im not gonna let you be on TV" Abby says

"yell at my kid one more time! yell infront of her one more time i can get louder!" Kerri yells

"hey hey..let's go" i whisper and JoJo picks up Peyton and i direct Alexus and Areana out of the room

we go backstage for the rest of the dances

the hip hop duo enter the stage and they are little powerhouses

they finish their routine and exit the stage

the trio enter next and their costumes are adorable

and they are nailing this especially Peyton she's keeping on time so well

i think they nailed it they exit the stage and i give them all a high five

"moving onto entry number 47 it's The Vultures" the announcer says

Maddie and Nia enter first then we all enter

i make sure everything is flawless

i do the last turn section with Maddie and we all finish the number

we exit the stage and in hug Maddie

"starting in our elite teen solo division" the announcer says

i take Maddies hand

"in second place entry number 10.3 You're Not Sorry"

i smile and i get up to get my award

"and your highscore first place entry number 10.2 The People's Choice"

i smile to Maddie and she gets her award i give her a side hug before we sit down

for the duet/trios

the trio got second

and the hip hop duet for first

"alright in our elite teen small group"

i take Maddies and Nias hand

"second place it's entry number 41 Call The Shots"

"and in first place it is entry number 47 The Vultures"

we beam and we get our award

i hug Kalani and Kendall

we go back to the dressing room and mom hugs me and Maddie

"minis congrats congrats i thought you really looked good onstage dancing i thought we need to work on that pirouette and thr flick out of it and all that but i thought for the most part it was pretty darn good" Abby says

i wipe of my makeup and i get my headpiece off

we pack up and we get home

"Maddie, Kayla" mom calls

we come downstairs

"yeah?" i ask

"sit down i want to talk to you both" mom says

i look to Maddie and we sit down

"this will be a conversation we'll have again when Kenzie is back but i want to ask you girls..do you want to stay for next season?" mom asks

i'm stunned i never thought we'd have a convo like this

"uh well..i obviously love dancing and competing but i don't know" Maddie says

"i mean you are booking so many things Mads.. and Kayla you know disney's basically confirmed a Descendants 3 and you'll need time off for that again" mom says

"i know..and yeah i want to move on for other things because we can't be competition dancers forever." i say

"and plus Kenzie wants to do music more" Maddie adds

"yeah." i say

"so if Kenzie wants to leave and we do would you be sad" mom asks

"obviously but it will be good to move on" i say

"yeah definitely" Maddie says

mom nods

never thought i'd be questioning to leave but maybe it will be good for us..

maybe i am actually getting out
