it's nationals week! i'm so excited and i really hope i do really well!

we all arrive at the studio

"can't wait to see what the studio looks like" Mom says as she opens the door

we all leave our stuff down and then line up

"here we are in another studio another week we need to learn a new group routine this is tough we have to do it today and there's props, now i wanna reflect on the past two weeks i keep telling you guys you have been giving an amazing opportunity you've been hand selected to go across the country and learn a new number each week and do these competitions and you are not stepping up to the plate"

"if you don't wanna do it there probably a hundred other kids who would love to be in your shoes right now so i need to see motivation i want you to want to win this is my reputation on the line it's my name, but by now it's also your names so ima start now with Paige" Miss Abby says to us and reveals Paiges headshot first

"moving on Mackenzie, Nia next we have Chloe" Miss Abby reveals the rest of the bottom row

"Brooke and Kayla." Miss Abby reveals the second row

i'm a bit bummed im second on the pyramid as i won and beat Maddie last week.

"and back on top we have Maddie" Miss Abby reveals the top

"you're doing a solo and a duet with Chloe" Miss Abby says to Maddie

"Chloe you'll also be doing your solo and Kayla you'll be doing a solo" Miss Abby says to me and Chloe

i beam

"Paige and Brooke im giving you a duet i want you to work together as friends i do not want you fighting as sisters if you waste time and energy bickering back and forth you're never going to get it finished" Miss Abby tells Brooke and Paige

"everybody is in the group number this week even Mackenzie" Miss Abby says

we all smile and clap for Mackenzie

"every single one of you are important part of this puzzle and in a group routine everybody needs to pull their weight and 8m telling you what we need to win, alright let's get to rehearsing let's get moving." Miss Abby says

we started off with the group and it's called this is my beauty and we all have mirrors!
we finish up the group dance now it times for solos

|Solo Rehearsals|
"Kayla last week you won and i'm expecting you to win again, but those turns are the end unacceptable these turns this week better be flawless got it?" Miss Abby says

i bite my lip "okay."

"this week your solo is lyrical and it's entitled Wonderland you're going to be portraying Alice." Miss Abby says

we learn my solo and it's to the song Welcome To Wonderland by Aaron seabra and Miss Abby has gave me a big turn sequence in the middle of the dance

"stop doubting yourself Kayla." Miss Abby corrects as i bobble on the turns

i finish the dance and the ground looking up

"alright it was good but work on those turns you also have that sequence in This Is My Beauty don't make me take it away from you" Miss Abby says i nod

"alright your dismissed" Miss Abby says

i didn't have anything the rest of the day so now we are back at the hotel

"what's your dances this week?" Mom asks

"My solos called Wonderland and i portray Alice" I say

"My solos called Manhattan and my duet is Black swan" Maddie says

"how you feeling this week?" Mom asks

"a lot of pressure Miss Abby wants my turns to be flawless" I say

"I feel good" Maddie shrugs

we are going over the group dance and it's the turn sequence and i fall out of the turns

"Kayla?! what is wrong with you? Maddie do the turns." Miss Abby says

i frown i liked the turns

"get the look of your face Kayla, do what Maddie did when she exited the stage" Miss Abby says to me

|Solo Rehearsals|
when it comes time for the solo rehearsals i'm really nervous

"Kayla you've had a solo every single week since the start of the season besides one week, it's catching up to you don't blow it" Miss Abby says to me

i do the dance to the best i can

"you do it like that onstage Maddie will beat the crap out of you" Miss Abby says to me

i nod

"dismissed" Miss Abby says

it's the competition and i'm super nervous

my mom isn't here but my dad is

Miss Abby is putting a lot of pressure on me this week

"okay soloists get ready" Miss Abby says

Kaylas costume and hair:

Miss Abby leaves the room then my dad walks in

"hi Mad," Dad says

and Maddie turns around and goes to hug him

"how are you? you look pretty" Dad says to her

i then walk over to beside Maddie

"Hey Kayla" he says and hugs me

"are you going to win again?" he asks us

"i don't know" Maddie says and i awkwardly smile

"just be yourself and don't worry about anyone else" he says to us

"i know! you make me nervous sometimes" Maddie says

and i slowly walk away

"there's nothing to be nervous about" Dad says to Maddie

Kenzie then walks over and hugs dad

"break a leg" dad says to Maddie

"okay bye" Maddie says

"you go," Dad says jokingly to Maddie

"no you go, please" Maddie says

"okay i'll let you go, bye Kenz bye Kayla" Dad says to us and i smile and i go over to stretch with Chloe

we finish getting ready and we start to walk out and Christi runs over

"here Maddie and Kayla let me give you a mommy hug since your mom is not here" Christi says

Maddie smiles and hugs Christi

then i hug Christi and i smile at her

"good luck!" she says to us

"thank you" we say back

"and i'll give you a mommy hug because i'm your mommy" Christi says to Chloe

we all walk hand in hand with Gia

we get backstage and i hug Maddie

"good luck" i say

she smiles and gets ready to go on

"Please welcome Maddie" the announcer says

Maddie enters and does her solo and i'm so nervous i really need to win

after she finishes i look to Chloe

"i can't go on" i say

"why?" she asks

"i'm going to mess up the turns i can't go on" i say getting panicked

"no you'll be fine, you have to go on you'll be fine" Chloe says and hugs me

i shake it off and i go to enter

"i can't i can't" i say again

"you've won nearly every solo this season you'll be fine!" Chloe says

i'm gonna mess up, i'm gonna mess up

"Please welcome Kayla with Wonderland"
Chloe hugs me quickly before i enter
my music starts and i dance my heart out the turn sequence comes up and i'm so nervous
luckily i didn't mess it up i finish the crowd cheers
i exit and Chloe hugs me

okay that wasn't as bad as i thought

"you did it! you were amazing!" Chloe says

"thank you you're going to do fabulous" i say and then i stand beside Maddie

"Please welcome Chloe with another season" The announcer says
Chloe enters and her solo is beautiful the next thing she freezes.
"oh no." i say
she tries to keep going then she did her finish pose and exited the stage

i run and hug her

"your okay!" i say

she cries and we go to find Christi

"don't cry, you'll make me cry!" Maddie says and hugs Chloe

we then see Christi and i take Chloes hand and bring her over to Christi

"you were beautiful!" Christi says and picks up Chloe and hugs her

"don't cry, it's okay Chloe it's okay" Christi says

"Chloe you were amazing!" Maddie says to Chloe

after all that it's time for the duets

before they went backstage i hugged Chloe

"you'll be amazing!" i say to her then i walk to the audience and i sit beside Christi

Paige and Brooke go on first and i cringed slightly what did Miss Abby give them
they finish and we all clap
Maddie and Chloe are up next and their duet was so pretty
we all clap as they finish

the group dance is next our costumes are pink and they are stunning

group costumes:

"please welcome this is my beauty" the announcer says
we all starts the routine and it's so pretty we all start to exit and Maddie does the turn sequence im still bummed i didn't get to do it

"our first runner up is Maddie with Manhattan" the announcer says
we all clap

"and our Little Miss Starbound 2011 is Kayla with Wonderland" the Announcer says

Chloe hugs me and i go up and be my trophy and crown

i beam with pride i'm so happy

"i knew you could do it!" Maddie says to me and hugs me

"now our top junior duo/trio awards!" the announcer says

"in 5th place oh la la, Paige and Brooke" the announcer says we all clap for them

they start announcing 4th 3rd and 2nd

"now it's time to announce your top overall junior duet/trio it's going to Black Swan Maddie and Chloe!" The announcer says
i cheer for them and high five Maddie

"one point, one single point just one separates 2nd and 1st place i'm going to call both the groups up here in no particular order This Is My Beauty Abby Lee Dance Company" the announcer says

i smile and get up with the rest of the girls

"rolling in the deep" the announcer says the other group

"now audience are you ready for your top junior group winner of cash prize i am too" he says

i grip Chloes and Brookes hand so tight

"This Is My Beauty Abby Lee Dance Company! make some noise!" The announcer says

we all jump and scream and i hug Chloe so tight

then i run over to Maddie and hug her tight

"do you wanna remind us one more time what choreographed your dance?" he asks

"Abby Lee Miller!" we all say

"and what studio really loud?" he says

"ABBY LEE DANCE COMPANY!!!"
