this morning before dance we are at the doctors to get cleared to dance!
finally!

i go to the doctors and i get cleared so i'm back to dancing!

me and mom get back in the car and i get the front this time because i made Maddie and Kenzie get in the back

"what did the doctor say?" Maddie asks

"he said no another two weeks." i say

"what? two weeks?" Kenzie says

"yup" i sigh

"that sucks..it's a sprain" Maddie sighs

"i know" i say

they're idiots.

mom starts the car and drives to the studio

we arrive at the studio and Maddie hands me my bag

"oh by the way i got cleared" i say

"i hate you." Maddie gasps

"love you too!" i smirk

we head into the studio

"what did the doctor say?" Abby asks

"i got cleared i can dance" i smile

"good..just in time for Jump" Abby smiles

i smile

we head into the dancers den to get ready for our last pyramid in pittsburgh i grew up at this studio and to move to LA will be different

"i got cleared to dance." i announce as i walk in

all the girls scream and hug me

"finally!" Kalani says

"girls you know we have visitors this weekend" Kira says

"don't even say it" Maddie says

"the rotten apples" Kira says

"oh please who else is coming" mom asks

"Ava and her team" Jess says

"why would Ava and her mother come?" Jill asks

"i got a tweet that Candy Apples were coming" Jess says

"Cathy is coming here to our backyard to beat you guys this week is more important than any other week we've had so far and the problem is Cathy and Jeanette with Abby i have not a good feeling about this" Jill says

we head into studio A for pyramid

"i wanna start of by saying that i had a pretty good time in Los Angeles and i think probably the highlight of my trip was seeing my student perform at the Grammys" Abby says

we clap for Maddie it was so cool going to the Grammys and seeing Maddie perform in the Grammys

"can i just say what i was excited about was Maddie started dancing the crowd was screaming her name" mom says

"she got more applause than Madonna it's amazing is there anything you'd like to tell the kids." Abby says

"i got to meet a lot of amazing celebrities and it was really funny i was walking in the hallways and when i didn't have the wig on celebrities weren't really coming up to me but when i had the wig on everyone was like oh my god oh my god so i like have two sides of my like when i put the blonde wig on i'm a different person." Maddie says

"speaking off milestones we're going to have actually Evan is planning to do something." Holly says

"your Evan?" Jill asks

"my Evan for Nias video premiering this saturday in between classes and the competition downtown so o wanna throw it out there everyone if you can make it" Holly says

"it's valentine's day isn't it" mom asks

"it is" Holly says

"sorry i can't come i'm going to dinner with my husband i'm sorry." mom says

"it's daytime." Holly says

"oh it's daytime i can come then" mom says

"it's in between the classes and competition." Holly says

"the moment is here before we go to LA we're going to Australia!" Abby says

we all cheer

"kangaroo!" Nia says

"yes yes! i will be teaching a masterclass along with Gianna you will be performing an entire showcase just the Abby Lee Dance Company..so with all that said let's get to the pyramid" Abby says

"bottom of the pyramid Kayla, hopefully this is your last time being the first at the bottom as you're back to work this week" Abby says

i smile and everyone claps

"next is Kendall, you're not here because you didn't do that solo perfectly you know why"
Kendall nods

"i'm moving on next Mackenzie, you did not perform with the group."

"moving on Nia, as far as i'm concerned you always want to get higher in releve you always want to lengthen the limbs"

"next on the pyramid we have JoJo, i thought you were good it is very difficult to do turn sequences with your arms like this"

"next Kalani, you did a penche it was beautiful i'd like to see you take more of a leaderships thats what Maddie does and you listen to her."

Kalani laughs

"that's right" Kalani says

the moms laugh

"so that's why Maddies on top again." Abby says

we clap for Maddie

"Maddies at the top of the pyramid because she gave and outstanding performance at the 57th annual Grammy awards"
we clap for Maddie and i hug her

"alright this weekend we will attend Starbound National Talent Competition here in pittsburgh pennsylvania so solos..Kendall i'm giving you the opportunity to redeem yourself you will be performing a solo"

"thank you" Kendall says and we all clap

"my next solo is going to Kalani." Abby says

we clap for Kalani

"the group routine is deep it should be chilling"

"oh i like that" mom says

"well it has to have something calibre to go against Candy Apples" Holly says

"i agree" Kira says

"Cathy has competed against me out of maybe twenty competitions she attended i can remember getting beat twice once was one dear friends choreography the next time was the last time the reason that they are threatening to you is not technique but because they want to beat you they're hungry for it so we are out for blood..alright let's go let's go let's go come on!" Abby says

|Group Rehearsals|

we warm up and i'm nervous as i haven't dance in four weeks

"girls this group dance is very important you can't afford to lose for me alright Gia where do we stand with this." Abby says

we learn the group dance and it's weird dancing again and my foot hurts but i think it's because i haven't danced in ages

i really like the choreography this week

"girls your left arm is way to behind in your preparation for your leap!" Abby calls out

i do a turn sequence

"Kayla i know you're nervous but it has to be good" Abby calls out

we carry on with the routine

"oh my god this is a nightmare" Abby says

"girls i don't want you to think i'm sitting back here on my phone like your mothers i am working on all of our merchandise oh my i see people make mistakes all the time."

|Three Days To Competition|
Abby calls the entire ALDC company into studio A

we all crowd in

"alright can i have your attention please..i want everyone here to know that i am opening a branch in Los Angeles when i built this studio my mom and dad took their savings and they bought the land this land i was twenty four and these floors have held up there's sweat in these walls of kids that are have graced seventeen different broadway shows yeah so i'm not leaving i'm not closing i'm not going anywhere The Abby Lee Dance Company and this dance studio will remain here forever so i think you need to look at it as a positive the thing is the opportunities are there and if i don't strike while the iron is hot it's never going to happen so i have to go and i have to do this and give it a shot and you know if i fail i tried so we all need to get back to class" Abby says

we all cheer and clap

we are going from the top of the group routine with Gia

"Kayla is your foot hurting?" Gia asks

"a bit" i say

"okay just take it easy" Gia says

i nod and carry on dancing

|One Day To Competition| 
today is the first day of jump and it's a crazy day!

but sadly we aren't getting to Nias music video

|Competition Day|
it's the competition but problem we are still at Jump

after Jump i mean we SPRINT to the competition

"go go go!" i say as we run

"i don't think i can dance after this." Kenzie says

"our numbers on soon we got run" Maddie says

we get in the car and start doing group makeup

"Maddie are you done?" i ask

"yeah" Maddie says

"do my hair please" i ask

Maddie flings my hair into a bun

we get to the competition and we sprint up the hall

and we run in and the moms cheer

"you made it" Jill says

we hug Abby

"kay take that off take that girls you're not going to get to run it you won't get to warm up" Abby says

i run and out my things down and start getting in my costume

group costume:

i get my earrings in and i redo my lipstick

"Mackenzie needs abs..do you think you can get her earring in." mom says

"help help help" i say

Holly comes over and helps me with my headpiece

"can i please have a makeup wipe someone." Maddie says

i throw a packet of makeup wipes to Maddie as mom helps me contour

"did you bring  your makeup bag i didn't bring any of my stuff." Jill says to Kendall

"GIVE ME THE MAKEUP NOW." Abby yells

"let's go come on!" Abby says

we run down the hall to backstage

"we're about to get disqualified GO!" i say and we run faster

we shake the nerves and we enter the stage

and get into our starting positions

our music starts and we start the routine

not a good one to start back

i'm out of breath from running

but i make sure my technique is flawless and that my facials are amazing

we finish the routine and exit the stage

JoJo got third and i'm pretty sure she improved that solo

Nia didn't place

and Ava won

"alright here we go junior groups." the announcer says

"only half a point separating second and first place."

"second place overall The Pateron Candy Apples Dance Centre"

i sqeeuze Maddies hand

"alright you guys ready for the top overall junior group of the day No Sign Of Life Abby Lee Dance Company!"
we get up cheering and Maddie hugs me so tight

"ladies what studio are you from?"

"ABBY LEE DANCE COMPANY!" we all scream

we take a bow and i beam

first competition back and we WON!

we head back to the dressing room and the moms congratulates us

Abby then comes in with a cake

we all cheer and run over

"this is awesome!" Kendall says

"read what it says" Abby says

"Hollywood or Bust" we all say

"girls i gave you a lot to do this weekend so you're going to live in Hollywood and that's what you have to do you're going to have to go to this audition and have your hair down and go to this audition and have your hair up go in heels not heels change" Abby says

we all get cake and it's so good

last week in Pittsburgh and now we're moving to LA but first AUSTRALIA!
