"come on let's go this is a busy week we have lots

to do" Abby says as we walk into studio A

"let's get to the pyramid i wanna get thoguht it quickly we have a very very busy week ahead of us, we were overall high score winning group give yourself a round of applause"

we all clap

"Paige, you knew that was coming right? why?"

"because when everybody was in the air i was on the floor already" Paige says

"just like Maddies costume fell off." Kelly says

"did you forget apart of your dance?" Abby asks Maddie

Maddie shakes her head

"no so it was the costume falling off right." Abby says

Maddie nods

"Paige do you wanna be here? because your mother is starting to make excuses for you." Abby says

"no i'm not you made that excuse for Maddie so i was making it for Paige." Kelly says

"Paige screwed up the whole group number infront of a live audience." Abby says

"and we won." Kelly says

"Maddie just drop and do twenty push ups Kelly will feel better go ahead you're punished." Abby says

Maddie slowly goes down

"it has nothing to do with Maddie it's to do with you." Kelly says

"go." Abby says

"Maddie please-" Kelly starts

"Maddie go give me twenty, your costume was your fault you should've known it was loose backstage you should've gotten
somebody to pin it." Abby says as Maddie does push-ups

Abby reputs the cover over Paige's headshot

"alright Paige you are on the bottom of the pyramid because you were perfect."

"moving on Brooke you're next because you were next to perfect."

"and now we have Kendall, i saw no opening turn it wasn't flawless the rest of the dance you were great."

"and next i have Nia, you never rolled your eyes you're never upset your mother never has to say anything about the solos that's good but i want more i want you to come out and be a star."

"and next we have Asia, Asia you were not here last week to perform because you were rehearsing for a charity event i think it's wonderful for you to do charity events however charity begins at home and this is now your home ."

"really Asia should be higher than any of the kids who performed in the group dance why should she get a spot above all these kids who were here over the break everyday that they could be and perform for you but that makes no sense" Jill says

"and she was training with another teacher!" Kelly says

the moms start to fight over Asia

i look to Maddie and roll my eyes

"next we have Kayla, Kayla you didn't have a solo but your performance in the group routine was phenomenal."

"and next we have is Chloe, i gave you a challenge with hiphop you were fourth overall highscore but you need to put more effort in you need to be the best you can be and i don't see that"

"next Maddie, it kills me that you're not on top of this pyramid because i thought that your solo was outstanding and i was glad to see you tapping again but you still got second."

"and on top of the pyramid is Mackenzie, Mackenzie had a clean win she went out onstage she did what she was supposed to do i always say it's tough getting to the top but it's even tougher staying there."

"turn and look to your right you're gonna let that girl show up and take over? that didn't look very confident"

Kenzie shakes her head

"time will tell."

"this week we are not travelling anywhere you will be performing in the annual dance concert now this is a rough week for all involved you're gonna have quick changes your gonna have numbers back to back your used to lounging around all day and getting up there for one number well that ain't it kid that ain't it."

"let's get to the assignments everybody will be doing a solo however most of you will be doing old solos, Paige you have a new solo so the pressure is on."

"you will be doing a jazz gymnastic routine so i need you totally focused on the task at hand."

"alright i'm gonna do something a little bit different Brooke i am giving you an amazing opportunity you are going to sing your big hit song Summer Love Song live."

we clap for Brooke

"the group routine is called Sugar Babies i need you to hit it hard just incase we don't have enough work to do the week of our big show we're gonna throw in a photoshoot you are doing an editorial campaign for the magazine Dance Track."

i gasp

"this is the first time that Dance Track magazine has interviewed kids and one is going to be chosen for the cover of the digital magazine."

i beam

i adore photo shoots so much oh my gosh i'm so excited

"spread apart let's go."

|Group Rehearsals|

"girls listen to me remember this is one of my favourite broadway shows do not mess it up out there."

the group is musical theatre and i love it

"do a nice switch leap Kayla"

i do a switch leap then we get put into spots

"after the way her mother spoke to me like that there's no way she's being in the centre for this number."

Abby then switches Paige and me around

so now i'm in the centre beside Maddie

|Solo Rehearsals|

i head to my solo rehearsal with David because Abby has a lot of work

"okay so you have two solos this year and those solos are Soilder and Dandelions from last year" David says
i nod

we go over the solos and i get dismissed

|Two Days To The Recital|
it's tech rehearsal for the recital and it's alot of work

we are in the costumes for Sugar Babies and we just did the routine

"Paige was chosen at pyramid to do a new solo she would prefer not to do a new solo so i'm offering it to somebody else would anybody else like to do a new number?" Abby asks

no one raises their hand

i look around and it's so awkward

"someone raise their hand." mom mumbles

i look down

"Maddie you have your survivor number and Kayla you have your Wish number that you guys learned." Abby says

i nod

"oh.. yeah." Maddie says

"i love how you volunteer them you noticed whenever asked people nobody volunteered or the twins did not volunteer you volunteered them, when any of these kids were asked to do a solo none of them chose too it's all i have to say." Kelly says

i bite my lip

"right they didn't so let's do it again and i'm gonna ask again then both of you or one of you say me i'll do wish or survivor." Abby says to me and Maddie

"would anyone like to take the place and do a solo anybody?"

i look to Maddie who slightly raises her hand

i raise my hand a little and i can feel my heart racing

"Maddie, Kayla what?."

"i'll do survivor." Maddie whispers

i just look at Abby not saying anything

"never in forty years of being in the Abby Lee Dance Company has anyone been given a solo the day of the f*cking recital!" Kelly yells

"you're out you're out call the police get her out" Abby says

i look back to my mom on the brink of tears

she mouths "it's okay" and Chloe squeezes my hand

"take me! let's go!" Kelly says

"you're finished goodbye." Abby says

"thank you." Kelly says and take her kids and leaves

|One Day To The Recital|
we are back at the studio today and Kelly isn't here

"i'm gonna call Kelly and see if she's planning on coming." Christi says

and rings Kelly

"we're here at the studio with all the moms and we were wondering if you were coming today?" Christi asks

"no." Kelly says on the phone

"are you planning on coming at all for the recital?" Christi asks

"no i'm not." Kelly says

Christi then says her goodbyes and hangs up

"hello." Abby says as she walks into the dancers den

"hello." the moms say

we go into Studio A and Abby hands us her new line

for dancing or even wearing out and about

it's so cute

we take a picture with Abby in them

"girls with Paige and Brooke out it means everybody has to work harder" Abby says

we then reblock the group number without Brooke and Paige

"okay one more time then we're going so pray Asia does it right."

we go over the number again

"that's great, well done Chloe i'm very impressed with you." Abby says to Chloe

then Jill walks into the room with Abby because she's doing a duet with some guy and Kendall looks like she wants to die

i start laughing

|Dance Track Photoshoot|
it's the day of the photoshoot for Dance track and it's so exiting

we have professionals doing our makeup and hair

and it's so nice

"we are so excited to be here who's gonna give me what? 100%" Adriana says who's kinda taking control over today

"110%" mom says

"thank you." Adriana says

we then get into our outfits we all have a character

i'm the prom queen

Maddies the teachers pet

Kenzies the nerd

Chloe's the rebel rocker

Nias the gymnast

Asia's the popular girl

and Kendall's the mean girl

i have this little short pink dress and my hair is wavy and i absolutely love it

each girl goes out and does their own solo bit

"okay so your background is a little different because we wanted to make it seem more like the photos you see on the big prom day." Adriana says

i nod

and we do a few poses and shots

"you're absolutely gorgeous" Adriana says

the photographers then have me and Maddie take a few shot's together

then me Kendall and Asia

we then take a whole group photo with Abby in it

it's the big day and it's mad

we are in the dressing room and my Dandelions solo is up first so i'm in my costume for that

Kaylas Dandelions costume:

"hey ladies so this is a big day everybody has a solo Asias back she has a solo and Maddie i think you stepped up to the plate and you're gonna do some new material that nobody has seen yet, Kayla i'm already challenging you with two solos already so i'm letting Maddie take the lead on this, and you all have a new group number Sugar Babies it's fun it's comic relief" Abby says

"i almost forgot about this whole photo shoot thing it's a big deal for you guys." Abby says

"oh these children haven't forgotten." Jill says

"oh i know you haven't forgotten so i found Sandra!." Abby says

"woooahh!" we all say as Sandra walks in with this big cover sheet

"Abby doesn't even know who's on the cover" Sandra says

"i don't" Abby says

"we came to the Abby Lee Dance Company specifically to find our very first cover person that will be a professional child dancer it's pretty big so i would like to congratulate the winner and announce the next cover of Dance Track magazine." Sandra says

"and the winner is.." Sandra says as she reveals the cover to be Kendall!

everyone cheers

"yay Kendall!!" Jill says

we all run and hug Kendall

"Dance Track thank you so much Sandra i appreciate it" Abby says

we then get start the performance

i do my two solos

Dandelions and Solider

then some group numbers

and my duet with Chloe Little Me

now it's time for Sugar Babies

we enter the stage and get into our spots

we start the number and we exit the stage to get our jackets off and we re enter
and i give it my all 

we finish the number and the crowd cheers

Jill's tango is up next and i'm standing beside Kendalls older sister Ryleigh and Kendall
i start to laugh

"it's the moms dance 2.0" i say

"oh dear jesus." Kendall says

i laugh and clap

then my mom and Christi enter

"no no why is she on?!" i say

Kendall starts to laugh

"where's Maddie where's Maddie?" i say

"oh my goodness" Kendall says while laughing

"oh my god Abby's going to put me Chloe, Maddie and Kenzie at the bottom of the pyramid for this." i say in pure embarrassment

Ryleigh pats my shoulder in comfort

i walk around the stage to find Maddie or Chloe

i spot Chloe

"Chloe, Chloe!" i whisper

"what?" she says

"did you see our moms?" i ask

she makes a face and nods

and i start to laugh

after we finish the show it's the curtain call

and i'm wearing a purple dress

after Maddie bows i come out and take a bow and i blow a kiss

after we all bow Abby comes out and then the curtain closes

a very tiring week but i'm excited to get back to competition next week!
