we are heading to the studio and i'm excited for this week!

|Pyramid|
we head into Studio A for pyramid

"come on ladies let's go! get in here with those fabulous tans let's go." Abby says as we walk in

"wow this mother's association duelling to a trio huh?" Abby says

"Hollys at work." Mom says

"of course." Abby says

she then moves onto the pyramid

"first Nia, honey my heart stopped for you when you forgot, you guys always think i'm the bad guy but i don't want any kid even if it's not my student to stop i just don't want it to happen again it shouldn't of happened in the first place you're better than that" Abby says

"moving on Mackenzie, Mackenzie there's some things to improve on."

"next i have Brooke, i thought you did a good job."

"next Chloe, Chloe the solo was excellent however the trio was a little shaky."

"moving up Paige, you worked through the pain in the feet even in the dressing room when you should've had the feet up and icing them you were doing the dance over and over"

i smile to Paige but i think Chloe should've been higher than her

"next i have Maddie, your solo was beautiful and you did a nice job in the trio." 

"and on top of the pyramid Kayla, you looked and danced like a professional out there, congratulations on your solo and the trio it's not easy being thrown into a trio last minute so well done"

i smile
"thank you." i say

"now each and every one of you are very lucky little girls you have beautiful homes you have everything you need, some kids aren't that lucky so our group routine is about a homeless child." Abby says

"there's also going to be a solo this week, Maddie you'll be doing a solo you better dance your heart out and dance your butt off because you haven't won a solo in two weeks is it because Kayla was entered? or are you a second place dancer?" Abby says

"the trio is a new trio and i'm gonna start mixing things up so Chloe you're in the trio, Kayla you're in the trio and Nia you're in the trio." Abby says

we smile and clap for Nia

i'm excited to do a trio with Nia i've never dance with her in these types of dances so i'm really excited

"Nia you have a lot to prove this week if you don't keep up with Kayla and Chloe" Abby says and makes a face

"now listen closely girls and moms i found out we will competing against Candy Apples in Chicago at company dance but i'll tell you what i'm not gonna loose to Cathy or Jill or Kendall, and moms thank you you're dismissed you don't have any jobs to do." Abby says and the moms cheer

|Group Rehearsals|
"Kayla i'm gonna have you as the homeless child, so start here" Abby says

we learn the dance and i like it

"let's go again." Abby says

and our music starts
and we do the section again

"and Chloe needs to do a pretty arabesque." Abby says

and Chloe does a arabesque

"yes good." Abby says

then Abby has Brooke lift me up

"arch, arch ,arch" Abby says to me and i arch

"hold, and she comes down" Abby says and i get put down

"and turn, turn, turn .. pirouette" Abby says to me as i turn

"and Boom..no jazz hands and face face face" Abby says to Nia

"hello little miss superstar" David says

"stop" i laugh

"well let's see this tap combo" David says

i do a small tap combo ive learnt

i finish and i wink for a little bit of sass

David laughs "very good, i will say your turns are bobbly and i know you are a fabulous turner i've seen you do some incredible ones, i just think it'd the shoes that's scaring you" David says

"it just feels like every time i do a pirouette i feel like i'm slipping or i'm going to slip." i say

"that's just the way it will feel but you won't fall i promise" David says

i nod

"alright you're dismissed" David says and i leave

|Three Days To Competition|
|Trio Rehearsals|
the trio is really sassy this week i love it!

"body roll!" Abby says as i leap to the ground

"sharper Nia!" Abby says

we go over the dance a couple of times

"1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8" Abby says as we do the dance

"1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8" Abby says again

then my mom comes in

"Abby i'm sorry to interrupt you but these people are starting this again so my kids and i are leaving and we aren't going this weekend, come on Kayla." mom says

i wanna go.

i shake my head

"Kayla we're really not going." Mom says

why does this always happen?

i start to cry

"i'm going" i say

"we're not going!" Mom says again

then Maddie and the other girls walk in and Maddie looks really confused

"Abby tell them" Mom says

"i'm going" I say while crying

"tell them now" mom says

"i'm going!" i say again

"Kayla i know you wanna do this i'm not doing this." mom says

"i'm going! i wanna go!" i say and Maddie starts to walk over to me

"Kayla and Maddie can go without me if you're gonna take care of them." mom says

"i'll take care of them" Abby says

"i'll go get your clothes, Greg please call your attorney these people are doing this again." mom says

"come here" Abby says to me and she hugs me and i cry

"thanks Abb" Mom says and she walks out

Abby let's me go and Maddie hugs me

and i wipe my eyes

"maybe when you get home tonight or when you have a private moment with your mothers tell them to keep their mouths shut and stay away from Melissa!" Abby says to us

"there's two things you don't talk about! weddings and divorces it's none of their business and they are causing this trouble." Abby says

i start to cry again

and Kelly comes down

"don't scream at my kids!" Kelly starts

"you're an adult." Abby says

"i don't care but Melissa talks about me and says stuff about me too!" Kelly says and takes her kids out of the room
"not about your husband!" Abby says

"yes she does! and you talk about my mother! so shut up Abby!" Kelly says

Maddie grabs my hands and takes me out of the studio
and David comes out

"hey,hey,hey what happened?" he asks and takes me and Maddie away from the room
"the moms were talking about my mom." Maddie says

"hey don't get upset don't let these moms get to you" David says and hugs me

"is your mom still here?" he asks as the other girls are going home

"no she took Kenzie and left" Maddie says

"okay." David says and gets up to phone home

he comes back and sits next to us

"Greg's coming to get you guys so go get your stuff" he says

we nod and we go get our things

Greg arrives and David walks us out

|Two Days To Competition|
we drive to the studio and walk on in

|Group Rehearsals|
we do the dance and Abby seems mad

"girls we have two days! two days until company dance there's gonna be every amazing studio in the mid west is gonna be there do you understand that? come on let's get to it" Abby says

and we do the dance again

"i better see a homeless child that hasn't eaten that hasn't bathed in that box, act it out and they get you and they friend you and they help you and they clean you up, you come around you dance with the girls and at the end what are we gonna see? another homeless child because the problem still exists" Abby says to me

"so think about that when you're in your bedroom at night going to sleep in your big beautiful house, yes?" Abby says

we all nod

we then get dismissed

|Competition Day|
"alright girls listen the stage is beautiful you can tell the calibre is through the roof so i want you going over that trio and going over that group dance." Abby says to us

my mom starts doing my hair for the trio

"Maddie i'm telling you what the feet concentrate on the placement of your feet." Abby says to Maddie

"hold on why does she get a pretty costume for snow white?" i suddenly say after my hair is done

some people laugh

"why! you jealous" Abby says

"no i liked my costume i just prefer Maddies." i say

"well your snow white solo won so i expect Maddie to win too" Abby says

"do you want an apple as a prop?" i ask Maddie

"definitely not." Maddie says

"rude." i laugh

she sticks her tongue out

"okay Maddie let's go" Abby says

and Maddie heads backstage and we go to the audience

"Please welcome Reflection." The announcer says and Maddie enters

"wooo!" i clap for Maddie

her music starts and she does her solo and i really like her solo this week
she finishes her dance and we all clap
Justice is up next and he's a sweet dance but nothing compared to Maddie

we head back to the dressing room and i hug Maddie

"i still did Snow White better" i smirk

"um rude!" she says and i run away to get ready for the trio

Kaylas trio costume:

we are going over the trio

Abby gives us corrections and we head backstage

"you'll be amazing Nia!" i say before we go on

"Please welcome Whatever I Want" the announcer says and our music starts and Chloe enters first

then i enter and i do a switch leap into a pirouette then a ariel to my spot
then Nia enters
i make sure to give enough sass at the corner of my eye i see Nia out of time and i feel so bad for her
we do turns into a kick into our ending pose
and we exit

|Solo and Trio Awards|
"1st place in the petite division entry number 3 reflection" the announcer says
i clap for Maddie and she gets her award

"well done!" i say as she sits back down

"thank you" she says

"in third place duo/trio frankenstein" the announcer says

"second place goes to entry number 88 idaho" the announcer says

i hold Chloes hand so tight

"and in first place goes to energy number 98 scartsoo" the announcer says

i let go of Chloes hand and i clap

i'm sad we didn't place because i thought we did good but Abby is gonna be mad at Nia

we head back to the dressing room to get ready for the group number

Kaylas costume (Maddies)

"straight leg and hold it" Abby says as we run through the dance

after we head backstage ready to perform

"next up entry number 84 Trapped." the announcer says
i go onstage and into the box
and our music starts and i start the number
i get on the box and arch of Brookes back
i then go behind the box and change out of the ripped top and i leap and i start to turn
the girls do their parts and i do a switch leap from behind the box without the hat on
we finish the routine and Kenzie ends it in the box.

we exit and i hug Chloe

"that was so good" i say

"i know." she says

the Candy Apples are next and there dance is alright
but Taylor
is really behind
then she then falls off the stage at the side

"oh my god" i mumble and there's so much chaos because Taylor is hurt

the medics then come and takes her away

|Group Awards|
"junior overall group." the announcer says

they started off with first..

"first place in the junior overall goes to entry 119" the announcer says

i look to Chloe i thought we had a chance

"in second place entry 95" the announcer says

"in third place entry number 84 trapped Abby Lee Dance Company" the announcer says

and Brooke gets our award

we finish awards and go back to the dressing room

"hey hey hey hey!" Abby comes in saying

"you beat them again!" Abby says and high fives us

Abby hugs us and leaves and we pack up

this week wasn't my week.
