"we were up against Cathy the wicked witch and we won the high score so we won the perfect ten, ten new routines in a row ten competitions in a row undefeated, obviously Cheryl and Fallon are gone wether i still consider them for my new team or not we'll see alright so now i'm going to get to the pyramid ."

"Mackenzie you didn't go you weren't there"

"next we have Nia, Nia the group was called red with envy your facial expressions were over the top but they weren't correct."

"and next Payton, Payton you can't be a baby we have a baby and that's Mackenzie she's not been a baby anymore."

"she just wasn't happy." Leslie says

"i know but we don't care if she's not happy." Abby says

"but that's just it you don't care that she's" Leslie starts

"no that's ridiculous." Abby says

"you're crossing the line." Leslie says

"that's it i said it it's done and it's over with she has to realise what she's doing." Abby says

Payton then walks out of the room in tears and Leslie follows her out

Abby walks out to get Payton

Leslie Abby and Payton walk back in

"girls you have to understand that when i tell you something do it." Abby says

"alright Chloe, you were great in the number you're used to doing roles like that you carried out the facial expressions quite well and just think if you were homeschooled like Kayla and Maddie you would be improving that much faster and that's again with your mother you need speak up and say no i need to be there mom dance comes first."

"Maddie, outstanding performance you were just off the charts it was amazing."

"thank you." Maddie says

"and next Kayla, you were outstanding in the group number you gave the performance of a lifetime and i think it's safe to say we're back to the battle of Kayla and Maddie we don't know who's gonna win.. and that's good you need some healthy competition." Abby says

i nod

"and on top of the pyramid is Kendall"

we clap and cheer for Kendall

"Kendall you're on top of this pyramid because you received the technique award and that tells me i'm doing something right.. alrighty."

"we're attending a new competition this weekend World Class Talent competition in Rockville Maryland"
we clap

"now you can all see Leslie is here and her daughter Payton you were brought on because i had an idea a concept a piece that i wanna do and i needed somebody to be my lead we are going to do our version of Kinky Boots"

we all cheer and i look to Maddie is surprise

"isn't Kinky Boots about drag queens?" Nia asks

"yes it is" Abby nods

"the group routine everybody's in it and it's called Lift You Up it is about confidence it's about show biz it's about performing and it's about strutting on that stage with confidence everybody get that?"

we nod

"in addition to the group i have four solos, Maddie, Kayla and Mackenzie will be competing against eachother."
i take a deep breath me and Maddie have competed against eachother since the first ever competition

but never with Kenzie in the mix..

"Mackenzie you are doing one of Maddies old solos."

i look to Kenzie and frown slightly this is just setting her up

"Maddie you will be doing a tap routine and your routine is called the Game Of Love"

"and Kayla you will be doing a lyrical routine entitled Fire Alarm"

"i knew this was going i mean i'm glad they're going to be competing against eachother because it just makes Mackenzie work that much harder." mom says

"the other solo is going to Chloe you are doing a contemporary solo it is called Follow You" Abby says

"okay moms out you go.. girls spread apart let's warm up"

we learn the group routine and it's so much fun

"okay Payton come out you're doing your thing alright and you're going to come out and strut forward and it's all about me" Abby says

we do the group again and i give it my all

|Solo Rehearsals|
"okay girls i don't think you three have been up against eachother for a while have you? well Chloe you have the advantage over Maddie just like your mother likes it she's doing a tap dance usually a lyrical or contemporary dancer wins so make the most out of this cause Maddie and Kayla is still my number one go to girls no matter what" Abby says

i bite my lip

"alright let's go"

Abby does Maddies solo first and me and Chloe sit at the back

"okay game of love don't worry about doing this worry about making the whole heart and complete it because you get to here then stop"

i go into a middle splits and Chloe helps me stretch

then i help her stretch

Maddie gets dismissed and then Abby starts my solo

we start learning my solo and it's so pretty i've missed doing lyrical solos it's to the song Fire Alarm by Rachel Sage

"finish the move before you go onto the next one." Abby calls out

i do my turn section into my ending and Abby dismisses me

"Maddie don't go down so low you look like a freak" Abby calls out as Maddie does her entrance

i then enter with Chloe

we continue in with the group

"they like to be tall make sure it's not just up and down up and down and around" Abby calls out

"now drop her." Abby says as we get Payton off our backs

"it's like this" Abby makes a face

"alright now listen to me this is the first group dance that we're doing that Maddie or Kayla are not the lead.. Payton do you realise that? this is the every single solitary routine that we did.. Maddie or Kayla was the lead and we are ten for ten so you guys have to realise that this is a big deal the perfect ten but what do we say? eleven is heaven alright you four grab a drink come back in here for your solos i'm gonna start with you." Abby says

"yes" Kenzie says

"got it?" Abby says

we leave and get a drink and then we come back in

Abby grabs out Maddies old costumes for Kenzie

"okay these look old." Abby says

"that was my um dorothy solo." Maddie says

"okay she can still get into this here move." Abby says

"i like that one." Maddie says

Abby hands Kenzie Maddies cry solo costume

oh dear..

"alright this is it are you going to do the cry number? well let's just say if it's not beautiful i'm not going to be crying you are." Abby says

Abby dismisses me and Maddie to start on Kenzies solo

"i hope Kenzie can pull this off because i knew she would get compared to you.. but i also did this solo." I say

"yeah i feel really bad" Maddie says

Maddie goes off to her tap class and i stay with Chloe in the dancers den

"what do you think of your solo this week?" i ask

"i like it..i just don't think Abby cares anymore." Chloe says

i nod

"if she gave you what she gives me and Maddie you'd be amazing.. not that you aren't but just" i stumble on my words

"i'd be better than what i am." Chloe finishes

i nod

"i think the show has stopped the training a lot..but i preferred your solos from the first two competition seasons we did with the show." i say

"i just miss those years.. Abby liked me better." Chloe says

i nod

we then get called in for our solos

"new soloists you ready." Abby says

we nod

Abby starts on Chloes solo first and me and Maddie stretch in the back

and Abby is teaching Chloe solo still

then Abby moves onto Maddies solo

then Abby does my solo

i start my solo and i make sure everything is perfect

i finish my solo

"time to go we have two more days.. you each have two more days Chloe your dance isn't finished yet theirs is you know darn well taking a tap class before that that's a lot of intrigue work and you have to get every one of your sounds.. Mackenzie has and advantage over all of you she can go online anywhere and watch Maddies routine cry or even watch Kayla do the routine.. Maybe the three of you need to worry" Abby says

we then get dismissed

we all have boots for this rehearsal and it's really fun to dance in
we run through the group routine

after we finish two drag queens walk in and i look to Maddie

Abby goes over and hugs them

"hi ladies" one of them say

the moms then come down

"let me introduce you to Miss Lola" Abby says

we clap for Miss Lola

"and Blitz"

we cheer

"we are going to competition this weekend this is a tribute to the broadway show Kinky Boots, we have won ten times in a row we are at the perfect ten."

the drag queens cheer and we clap

"it's a new competition i need the girls to really embrace being a performer stepping out on that stage and owing who you are bow leg and all.. Payton step forward"

Payton steps forward

"this is Payton she makes one heck of a drag queen."

"oh yes honey i see some in the making.. i'm gonna a show you a few things on a expert drag queen for this number" Miss Lola says

"alright let's see" Abby says

"super super big on the face we wanna see the eyes the big dramatic eyes and the big lips the kisses and the mounting of the words.. it's all about the strut" Miss Lola says and she struts

they the have us and the moms strut

i think we all nailed it personally

"do you think you could help with the makeup the drag queen over the top" Abby asks

"i think so" Miss Lola says

"can we do a makeover?" Blitz asks

"YES!" we all cheer

"i wanna do her eyes" Abby points to Payton

"and give the moms a bit of an idea alright cause if they screw this up we're not gonna win and it's all about the win" Abby says

"we're going to make you look fierce!" Miss Lola says

"fierce" Blitz says

Payton then goes to her her makeup done

we all head to the front desk

and Payton comes out and she looks amazing

"alright girls say thank you" Abby says

"thank you" we all say

we are at the studio before we head to the competition and me Maddie and Kenzie are in the dancers den

"are you excited to be doing cry?" Maddie asks Kenzie

"i'm excited but i'm really scared because i don't want to mess it up" Kenzie says

"so you need to show Abby that you can do more than just cheesy jazz and cutesy dances you need to lyrical and emotion" Maddie says

"no it's just she keeps saying i have to like you but i'm not you" Kenzie says

"i know but you need to do faces like me because you don't have face" Maddie says

"i know i don't have the Maddie face i have the Kenzie face" Kenzie says

"i hope you do great but i hope you don't beat me." Maddie says

"well i'm gonna win" Kenzie says

"i don't think so" Maddie says

"well i'm going to beat the both of you so" i pitch in

"no" Maddie and Kenzie both say

"i think so" i say

we then get on the bus and head to the competition

we arrive at the competition and head to the dressing room and the soloists get dressed

"Mackenzies doing Maddie solos..now show me the Maddie face" Abby says

Kenzie does the face

"keep going the whole country can do the Maddie face everybody talks about all the time hashtag Maddie face.. eh it has to be" Abby then does an example

Kenzie copies Abby

"and what else? show me distress and pain agony help me."

Kenzie shows Abby

"i don't know they all look the same they all look like Mackenzie Mackenzie Mackenzie Mackenzie.. even Kayla can do the Maddie face." Abby says

there it is. thought she'd bring me into it a lot quicker

Christi then calls Kenzie over

"girls listen the directors of this competition don't know us they only know of us so if you're a sloppy mess that means the Abby Lee Dance Company's a sloppy mess got it?" Abby says

we nod

we head backstage for the solos

"good luck" i hug Maddie

"up next is act number 23 Maddie" the announcer says

i clap for Maddie form backstage she starts her solo and she is really good she's always been such a good tapper

Maddie finishes her solo and she nailed it

she exits the stage and i hug her

Chloes solo so up next so i give her a small hug before she enters

"moving right along we have act number 24 Chloe in Follow you" the announcer says

Chloe enters and she starts her solo and her costume is beautiful i love her solo this week

she finishes her solo and exits the stage

i give her the biggest hug

"you did amazing" i say

"thank you" Chloe says

"up next is act number 25 Kayla."

i enter for my solo and my music starts i give it my all

i make sure my emotion is great and my technique is off the charts

i finish my solo and i exit the stage as everyone cheers

Mackenzie is up next and i'm so worried for her

"Mackenzie just good luck just be yourself no matter what anybody's saying you're going to do amazing okay? you just have to use your face you have to use your pointed toes and pointed legs or else you never know okay? so you know do great" Maddie says

"okay" Kenzie says

"okay i love you good luck" Maddie says and hugs Kenzie

"Kenz" i say

Kenzie turns to me

"yeah do what Maddie said but you don't need to go out there and be Maddie or even me because you aren't Maddie or me you're Mackenzie and you make that dance the way Mackenzie would perform that dance not Maddie not Kayla, Mackenzie okay?" i say

Kenzie nods and i hug her

"love you" i say

"alright moving right along we have act number 52 Mackenzie with Cry" the announcer says

Kenzie starts the routine and Maddie takes my hand

it's so weird seeing Kenzie do the dance but she's nailing it

Kenzie finishes the dance

and me and Maddie do a excited jump

"she did it" i whisper yell

Kenzie exits and me and Maddie run up and hug her

"you did it Kenz!" i say

we all come into the dressing room cheering

Abby hugs me and Maddie

"Chloe i liked the ending swoosh into the wings like woo!" Abby says

Chloe smiles

we all get ready for the group routine

Kaylas costume with a big pink sparkly bow:

we head backstage for the group routine and i'm really nervous because this crowd might not like us

"next up is act number 83 Lift You Up" the announcer says

our music starts and we'll start to enter and i really make sure to act this out
we finish the dance and Kenzie gets up to do her bit and all exit

"i couldn't tell if anybody liked it" Payton says

"i don't think they did" Maddie says

"i don't know of anybody liked it." Chloe says

it's solo awards and i take Maddies hand and squeeze it

"our fourth overall goes to contestant number 24 follow you"

i clap for Chloe and get gets up to get her award

"and our third overall goes to contestant number 22 Cry."

i cheer for Kenzie as she gets her award

"our second overall is contestant number 23 The Game Of Love"

i cheer for Maddie

"and our first overall our highest scoring solo is number 25 Fire Alarm"

i beam and i get up to get my award

Maddie gives me a side hug and i high five Kenzie

the Ziegler sisters take on the overall top three.

"you are the highest scoring solo well done congratulations to you" the announcer says to me

"thank you" i smile

we take a bow and we sit back down

"we will now be going to our top junior small group" the announcer says

"in the class division our dance division Abby Lee Dance Company act number 83"

we get up cheering we won!

we get our award and we take a bow

we run into the dressing room

"eleven is heaven!" we all cheer and hug Abby

me, Maddie and Kenz go over to mom and she hugs us

"Payton thank you for joining us this week you did an outstanding job." Abby says

"thank you." Payton says

"alright come on let's go guys i wanna come thank the judges" Abby says

we leave with Abby to thank the judges

after we thank the judges mom comes up to us and takes me, Maddie and Kenzie to get changed and head for the bus

i'm assuming a fight happened because she seems mad..
