this week we are on the road so we aren't in Pittsburg!! We make our way to the studio we have for the week and I'm excited for the competition!!

|Pyramid|
"Girls let's go!" Miss Abby says

"Alright.. where's Cathy? Where's Vivi-Anne?" Miss Abby asks

"Right now I'm at the end of my road with Cathy!" Miss Abby says then she turns to the pyramid and reveals the first headshot

"Mackenzie." Miss Abby says

"you and Vivi-Anne are supposed to have a duet." Miss Abby says revealing the next headshot

"But no Vivi"

"So you might be doing summer by yourself" she continues

"Chloe. You're gonna take a week off I'm not gonna do a new solo for you I think you need to work on your technique... I was happy with fourth place your mother was not."

"And I don't think you were either"

"Nia.. I was happy with you your mother is not happy with the choreography so we're gonna work on that.. mom I don't anymore altercations like Connecticut"

"It was a conversation" Holly says

"I don't want anymore conversations like Connecticut"  Miss Abby says

Then Miss Abby revealed Paige and Brooke

"Maddie you came second, your solo was gorgeous it all clicked I just don't wanna see tears you're the top of the age scale you did a beautiful job this could be your year." Miss Abby says

"And then on top we have Kayla, your solo was beautiful it was gorgeous you won the crown and you beat your sister well done"

i smile

"So let's talk about this weeks competition. The number is called snap shot you're all models.. so who's modelled before?" Miss Abby asks

We all raised our hands

"You've all modeled? Perfect so now you know what the runway is. What else is at a fashion show? a photographer, I've had a lot to think about over the last 24 hours and I think we need to bring a boy in to be the photographer. What do you think?" Miss Abby says

"Brooke?" Christi says

"I have a surprise for all of you a big surprise here our photographer." Miss Abby says as she pulls of the paper
Everyone gasped

"it's Brandon!" Mom and Kelly screams

"This is so weird!" Paige laughs

"Is he here?" Mom asks

"Brandon? Dianne?" Miss Abby calls

We all scream and we all hug him

|Group Rehearsals|
Abby is demanding for chemistry from Brooke and Brandon but it's not happening

"That was nothing that was silly" Miss Abby says to Brooke and Brandon

"Passé get that leg up.. sloppy arms you two aren't even looking at each other come on!" Miss Abby says

"This isn't going well" I whisper to Paige

"Nope" she whispers back

"Brandon when I say the word I want chemistry between you what does that mean?" Miss Abby asks

"You have to have emotion between each other and just the passion that you feel something" Brandon says

"Right that girl makes your heart stop, yes? What does it mean to you?" Miss Abby says

"same thing." Brooke says

Miss Abby laughs at that comment

We go over the group again..

"Now do the arch back and look back at him and slide slowly down"

|Solo Rehearsals|
"Kayla this week we are doing another lyrical piece." Miss Abby says

I smile

"It's based on the musical Les Miserables have you seen it?"

"no." I reply

"It's about the French war.. and there's this character called Eponine who has a song called on my own and that's what your solo is called this week so we need emotion as you are portraying one off the hardest times in her life" Miss Abby says

I nod and we learn my solo it's probably my favourite solo yet it's to the song on my own by Carrie Hope Fletcher

"beautiful!!" Miss Abby praises when I finish my solo

"I expect a win out of this, okay?" Miss Abby says

"yes." I say

"okay you're finished" Miss Abby says

I leave the room

|Group Rehearsals|
It's later that night and we are going over this group dance again..

"Chemistry!" Miss Abby yells to Brooke and Brandon

"that's the first time I've ever heard that word" Chloe says to me

I giggle and we go over the group AGAIN

"Okay you're all finished for tonight." Miss Abby says

We all get in the van together

"How was dance?" Kelly asks

"Were you listening? I don't think I've heard the word chemistry more in my life!" Paige dramatically says

"It's ended in a date with me and Brandon" Brooke says

we all scream

"REALLY?" I squeal

Brooke nods

We all giggle and we back to our hotel

In our hotel there's to separate rooms one for mom then one for me Maddie and Kenzie

"Okay girls you have to get up early tomorrow Miss Abby wants to speak to you all before dance" Mom says

"Okay." Maddie says and we go into our room

Kenzie fell asleep leaving me and Maddie awake

"So what's your solo called?" I ask

"Universe! It's lyrical, yours?" Maddie asks

"Cool! Mines called on my own also lyrical" I say

"Abbys demanding I beat you this week since you won last week" Maddie sighs

"Abbys demanding I win again" I say

Maddie giggles and we both fall asleep

|Two Days To Competition|

"Maddie, Kayla, Kenzie! Wake up!" Mom says

Maddie groans

"Abby needs you three get up" Mom says and leaves our room

I roll out of bed

"What do you think Miss Abby wants?" I ask

"If it's not dance it's probably something competitive" Maddie says

"Probably" I say

"Kenz come on" Maddie says to Kenzie

we all get ready and meet Abby at the pool

"We're here at star power in sunny mag in Orlando and they have a pageant everyone of you have been registered we don't know who's gonna qualify so right now we're gonna rehearse as if you made it and whoever makes it will be ready" Miss Abby says

We all nod

"Brooke stand up go head upstage look at her walk EHHH I'm gonna show her." Miss Abby says
And she gets up and shows us how to walk

"Turn..catch that end judge" Miss Abby says

And Maddie laughs

Miss Abby sits back down

"Mackenzie, tell me your favourite acrobatic trick" Miss Abby asks Mackenzie

Kenzie goes to speak and Miss Abby blows her whistle

"look down" Miss Abby tells her

"Nia tell us the heritage of your name." Miss Abby asks Nia

"May I please ask what that word means?" Nia asks

Miss Abby rolls her eyes

"If you get on stage and freeze or you stutter you're going to look like an idiot! Infront of those people the most important thing is so not panic pull your thoughts together take a deep breath and answer the question does everyone understand?" Miss Abby says

"Yes" we all say

She blows the whistle

"Go find your mothers and start working on that interview" Miss Abby says

|Group Rehearsals|

And we rehearse for the group dance

Brooke and Brandon leave early for their date so now we are doing solos

|Solo Rehearsals|
"more emotion tell the story" Miss Abby says to me

After I finish Miss Abby calls me over

"this solo is stunning and Maddies solo is also stunning you need to beat her it's always win or loose with yous two it's like Maddie wins one week and you win the other a streak needs to happen keep winning against your sister" Miss Abby says

"yes" I say

And I leave the room

|Abbys Summer House|
we are walking up to miss Abby's summer house and I'm really excited

We knock on the door

"Come on in hello!" Miss Abby says

We go outside to the back

"There's a pool!!" I shout

We all scream

"My mom the one and only marten lorrian is home!" Miss Abby says

"hey" her mom waves

Me and Maddie go and hug her she's like our grandma too

we eat lunch which was amazing

And now it's time for the pool

"Who's going in?" Miss Abby says

And then she picks up Brooke and throws her in

We all scream and jump in

miss Abby gets a watermelon and Christi puts grease on it and throws it in the pool
"MINE!!" I scream and go for it

I grab it and it slides out of my hands

we all fight like cats and dogs for it

"nooo Paigeeee moveeee" i whine
And we giggle

Maddie the gets the watermelon and swims away

and then she goes under the water and loses the watermelon were Nia then grabs it
she starts swimming away

"give meee it" I hear Paige say

"I want it!" I say and I go for the watermelon

After the beach house we go back to the hotel

"What happened at the pool?" I ask

"I fell and got hurt" Maddie says and I nod

|Competition Day|
It's competition day! I'm very nervous for my solo and group dance

Maddie and Brooke got picked for the pageant so that's up first.

"Maddie Brooke you ready?" Miss Abby calls

|After The Pageant|
Maddie ended up winning against her big competition Juliana

Now it's time for solos

"Kayla go get your costume on" Mom says

Kaylas solo costume:

mom then does my hair in a bun and does my makeup
I'm only against Maddie this week but I'm very nervous in case I don't win

"welcome Maddie to the stage with Universe" the announcer says
Maddie enters the stage and starts dancing I have to look away so I don't get nervous

"You are going to do amazing you've won against her before" Chloe says to me

"I know but I need to win this week and If I watch her dance I'll get nervous" I say

Maddie finishes her solo and the crowd goes wild I'm assuming she was amazing

Maddie exits the other side of the stage

"Good luck" Chloe hugs me and goes round to Maddie

"welcome Kayla to the stage with On My Own" the announcer says

I enter the stage and I sit on the floor my music starts and I dance to the best of my ability I finish my solo and I see mom
crying I exit the stage and Maddie hugs me

"That was the best time I've ever seen you dance" Maddie says

"Thank you" I smile

we walk back to the dressing room to get ready for the group dance

The costume is alright not my favourite

"Welcome the Abby Lee Dance Company with Snapshot" the announcer says

We all enter and Maddie starts out the dance  the whole time we are off timing or someone misses a step it's a total mess I don't think we are winning.

we exit the stage "that was a mess" Maddie whispers to me I nod in agreement

|Awards|

4th place was just announced for group we still have a chance I'm squeezing Maddie and Chloes hands
"Your 3rd place champion will be step it out" the announcer says

"2nd place champion will be ride to your heart" the announcer says
there's no way we got first with this

"1st place will be about that walk" the announcer says
I look to Chloe

we didn't place

Miss Abby is going to kill us

|Solo Awards|
"In the 9-11 1st place we have Nia with Bollywood" the announcer says

we all cheer for Nia I'm so happy she won!

"In 2nd place mini solo is Maddie with universe" the announcer says

Maddie goes up to get her award

Maddie got second I might be able to win this

"in 1st place mini solo is Kayla with on my own" the announcer says

I smile and hug Chloe I walk up to get my award and I side hug Maddie

I won!

We walk back to our moms and mom hugs us both "you girls were fab!" Mom says to us
we are sitting in the dressing room and Abby enters

"What do we think girls?" Miss Abby asks us

"so I have a little more news" Miss Abby says

"I think your mothers are going to fall of their chairs.." Miss Abby starts

"Oh god what" Kelly asks

"We're going from here to Vegas to Los Angeles California to Lake Taho" Miss Abby announces
All the girls cheer and the moms sigh

"I'm not going to fall off my chair I'm going to shoot myself" Kelly says

"And you better be the overall high score do you understand?" Miss Abby says

"I don't think the moms are so excited.." Kelly says

"no moms! no moms no moms no moms no moms!" Miss Abby cheers

"Come on help me out here" Miss Abby says to Paige

We pack up our things and leave to go to Vegas
