Anyone who says there's no where to go but up has never seen my books
I'm still not over Florida and Louisiana's relationship, so here we are

They both remember things about the other that no one really expects because it's small things
Like, Louisiana will come back from the store and pass Florida his favorite cookies or chips or something and just continue putting everything away like it doesn't matter
Or how Florida can remember all of Louisiana's favorite songs/movies and knows each and every time they change because he gets so happy listening to Louisiana talk about them or get excited listening to them 

Florida gets woken up one night at like three in the morning because he got a message from Louisiana about something he knows Louisiana doesn't care about and really only understands because Florida likes it and just gets so excited about it

Louisiana usually goes with Florida's chaos but only because Florida has realized he's allowed to chaos as long as he doesn't get hurt
one day the states get woken up by Louisiana screaming and trying to stop Florida and Florida looks like he's got enough of a lead that he's going to just run out the door with no issue, but Louisiana manages to get in front of him and pick him up
half an hour later a very regretful looking Florida walks out of their room and fixes whatever it is he broke then walks past Louisiana and back into the room
he pulls back the chaos for about a week after 

Whenever he seems like he's got too much energy, Louisiana will drag him over to the couch or their room and just lay on top of him (with permission) until he manages to fall asleep because it helps both of them

During thunderstorms, Louisiana prefers being able to curl into Florida's side or steal one of his hoodies

Florida doesn't mind either way, but on days his anxiety get really bad, it helps to be touching that person (whether it be holding hands, hugging, leaning on them, something like that) 

They canonically sit next to each other in meetings

They literally finish each other's sentences

this next part is extra stupid and just me rambling

I think I love their dynamic so much because they've both probably seen the worst of each other, they've both seen each other at their lowest and recognize the other's flaws 
that's what I love about their dynamic
they see the other's flaws and still think "yep, that's my idiot" 
it's never "he's bad at saying what he means" it's "give him a minute to figure out how to say this", it isn't "I wish he would just change (trait)" it's just recognizing it as part of their personality
the small imperfections are still just as important to the other
most of the time they get upset at each other but they never stay mad or say they hate the other, they might not like what the other did, but they'll talk about it, they'll ask each other and if they show that they're exasperated it's the same way Bob and Linda are (romantic or not) it's them saying "yeah, this sucks, but at least we have each other" and I love those types of relationships so much
