Swimming

After some planning and deliberation, Raven, Bumblebee, and Cyborg has decided to wait until the following morning to try the spell. Cyborg thought that it might be nice to have a whole day to spend in the city with Bee, doing things he couldn't normally do afterwards. He canceled tomorrow's training and swapped it for a patrol, giving everyone the day off which made the Titans happy, although no one besides Raven, knew why.

That night neither Bee nor Cyborg could sleep from the excitement for the next day. They lied there, discussing the little fun things like sports their future child could play and fun activities they could do as a family. They eventually fell asleep while dreaming and scheming.

The next day, Raven woke up at 5am to prepare for the spell. She didn't need any ingredients but there were a lot of  words in the spell passage she needed to make sure she pronounced correctly.

Cyborg and Bee woke up at 6am. Bee got dressed and Cyborg put loose pants with a drawstring on since he was about to become fully human. They met at Raven's door at 6:30am and Raven let them in. She had Bee sit on her bed as she laid Cyborg out on the floor.

"Thank you for wearing pants..." Raven uncharacteristically smirked trying to loosen the tension in the room. Both Bee and Cyborg were nervous and she could feel it. Cyborg chuckled nervously on the floor as Raven poured a circle a black sand around him.

"Alright. Just so we are clear, this is yours!" Raven lit a tall white reflection candle and passed it to Bee to make sure the spell didn't wander towards Bee. Raven turned her lights off leaving the candle as the only light in the room. Raven levitated above Cyborg and began chanting. Bee strained her eyes but she could only see the outline of his body. After a few minutes of chanting a breeze blew around the room and choked the candle out. Raven went quiet and levitated over to the floor.

"Cyborg, how do you feel?" Raven asked hesitantly.

"I don't think it worked. I don't feel any different." Cyborg mumbled as his heart sank. Raven flipped the switch and both she and Bee couldn't believe their eyes.

"Babe!" Bee shouted as she got down from the bed. "It worked!" She exclaimed as she knelt down to touch his chest.

Cyborg sat up and looked at his hands in disbelief. He hadn't seen the palms of his hands in years. He looked down as saw his bare  feet and wiggled his toes with a giggle. Cyborg was speechless, just to feel normal for one day. Cyborg got up to his feet and wrapped Bee in a tight hug to his bare chest. Bee closed her eyes and inhaled the new musky smell of Cyborg's chest. Raven cleared her throat and broke the silence.

"It's cute but please go so I can clean my room before everyone else wakes up." Raven snarked even though she was extremely happy with the result of the spell. Cyborg and Bee walked back to their room holding hands.

Robin woke up and dressed into a pair of light wash jeans, noticing he was a little sore from walking the day before. The soreness made him feel accomplished because he was getting stronger. He looked in the mirror without a shirt on, studying how much thinner he had become from the past months of stress, hospital stays, and lack of solid foods. Before everything had started with Beastboy, he was a muscular 195lbs. Today he stepped on the scale as 170lbs and accepted he had a lot of work to do. He examined the scars left on his chest from stitches and surgeries feeling a little self conscious. He turned and saw the bruises on his back had faded but there was still some mild puffiness and a fresh pink scar around his lumbar spine. Shaking off the thoughts, he pulled a black T-shirt on and spiked his hair. Then he put a quick spritz of cologne on because today was Starfire's day off.

Robin went to Starfire's door to see if she was ready for breakfast. She opened the door in a lavender off the shoulder sweater and jean shorts with her hair in a high ponytail. Robin was caught off guard by how effortlessly beautiful Starfire looked today. He stood in the doorway, struggling to form words while Starfire watched with confusion.

"I-um....Breakfast?" Robin stuttered nervously.

"Yes please!" Starfire said happily as she took Robin's hand and walked down the hall. They stepped into the kitchen to see Besstboy preparing himself a tofu salad and Raven sipping her tea at the table.

"I just don't get why we aren't training today?" Beastboy whined. He was really getting into training lately and was wanting to try the obstacle course again.

"Cyborg and Bee just wanted us to take the day off." Raven said flatly but Robin felt like something was off about the way Raven said that. Robin grabbed a pan and turned to Raven.

"Are they feeling okay?" Robin asked intentionally, giving Raven an excuse to use.

"No, he thinks he and Bee had some bad takeout last night or something." Raven explained taking the bait Robin laid down.

"Mhhhmmm" Robin nodded because takeout was Raven's code word to Robin when she needed to be left alone and understood that Raven was implying the same thing for Bee and Cyborg.

"Awe man! I was actually looking forward to training today!" Beastboy continued to complain as he sat down in between Raven and Starfire.

"Really?" Robin asked surprised. Training was usually the last thing Beastboy wanted to do.

"Yeah, I've just been getting better since everything happened!" Beastboy said enthusiastically, "I feel really good lately and everything is starting to feel easy!"

"That's awesome!" Robin complimented wishing he could be more involved in training. He knew it was for his own good, because if he was there, he'd totally try to participate. He finished up the eggs in his pan for Starfire and himself as they all joked around about various things. Once they had finished eating, conversation slowed and Robin had an idea.

"Hey do we want to go out to the beach today? The weather is perfect for it." Robin asked. Starfire, Beastboy, and Raven were all down for a swim. Robin was surprised because Raven was never one to willing go swimming. She'd always state that she'd read off to the side if she had to go.

Cyborg and Bee were nervously snuggling in their bed, realizing both of them were terrified to take the first kiss. Bee finally sat up impatiently and studied Cyborg.

"This doesn't feel like you!" Bee complained desperately.

"Do you still want to do this?" Cyborg asked nervously, not knowing if the spell could be done multiple times.

"Yes, but this is making me realize I don't know a lot about you. What name should I call you? Because Sparky and Cyborg are currently not accurate.

"Huh, well I guess I hadn't thought about that...my name used to be Victor...you could call me that?" Cyborg said, sitting up to face Bee. "What was your name?"

"Karen, uhm Karen Beecher...but I haven't been called that in a while!" Bee continued, "I don't think I want to be called Karen."

"And I'm not crazy about Victor either. That was another life ago..." Cyborg spoke softly as he grabbed Bee's feet, placed them on his lap, and began messaging them. There were little things like massaging Bee's feet, that he was starting to get used to how they felt. Having skin and nerves was a whole different sensation then the heat and touch sensors in his metal body. He happily took every little thing in while he could. He looked up from Bee's feet to see Bee studying his face with a smile. He didn't know that his foot massage was the bit of familiarity she needed to relax.

"I think we are just overthinking this...." Bee started.

"I agree!" Cyborg said and Bee slid closer to him wrapping her legs around his waist.

"You are still Cyborg and I'm still Bee...." Bee started to say but was cut off by Cyborg leaning in for a kiss. Cyborg let his kiss linger for a moment and then pulled back with a smile.

"You just get a little extra man and little less metal today." He joked with a shrug. He watched her react with a smirk, then let his eyes travel down the white silk camisole she was wearing, feeling his excitement build.

"Will you hurry up and put this baby in me?" Bee whispered with a grin before he pushed her down into the pillows and kissed her from on top.

Robin drove to the beach with Raven, Starfire, and Beastboy in the red Ferrari. They got out and walked to a quiet spot along the shore and set up a camp. They laid out towels, put up an umbrella, and even packed a cooler of food. Beastboy brought a beachball as Starfire went to the water to go play with the green sea lion. Robin and Raven sat under the umbrella for a bit to relax.

"Is everything okay with you and Cyborg?" Robin asked cautiously.

"Yeah...I can't tell you details but they just needed to take care of some couple things for the future. They're not ready to talk about it yet." Raven explained carefully.

"Ahhh I see." Robin replied with internal relief. Future couple things was a good sign in Robin's mind. It implied that there was a future for their relationship. "I thought something bad happened so I was worried."

"Oh no. Everything is good for them." Raven said with a smile. "How are you and Starfire? You feel a lot more relaxed since stepping down."

"Yeah really good! Slowing down has been amazing..." Robin trailed off as he watched Starfire in her pink bikini throw the ball to Beastboy. "How about you and Beastboy? Are you two...?"

"I don't know." Raven said flatly, "I never thought being in a relationship was a good idea for me, but he's making me rethink that."

"I understand exactly how that feels." Robin mumbled just loud enough for Raven to catch. Robin got up and sat at the edge of the water, letting the the waves run up his black trunks to his belly button. Beastboy breathlessly changed back to a human and sat next to Robin.

"Dude! Badass scar club!" Beastboy shouted putting his arm on top of Robin's shoulders which caught him off guard. Robin glance over at the long green scar along his collarbone and the vertical one down his chest and grinned.

"Yeah, I didn't think about that!" Robin chuckled thinking about his earlier self consciousness in the mirror. It's funny how someone else's opinion could change a perspective. Raven came to the water in a modest black one piece and sat next to Beastboy in his bright purple swimming trunks. Starfire sat next to Robin's other side for relax and enjoy the water.
