Emails

A few nights had gone by and Robin had been checking his email religiously for an email from Alfred or Bruce. Finally, there was an email waiting on his inbox.

At the same time, Beastboy was feeling tremendously guilty about snapping at Raven earlier but he was not ready to share his project yet. He went out to the kitchen to make her a cup of herbal tea and bring it as a truce.

Bee had arrived at Titans East to visit for two months. Her objectives were evaluating Aqualad's leadership, the team cohesion, and Jinx's progress. She settled back into her old room feeling a little lonely. She lie awake at night, reminiscing about being back with Cyborg. She was so excited to prepare for this baby and so far they've barely scratched the surface of what they needed to do. She placed her hand on her flat stomach. She wasn't showing yet but she certainly felt a little bloated. Her boobs on the other hand, had definitely sized up. She planned on wearing her most compressive bra the next day so none of Titans East would suspect anything.

The email was from Alfred on behalf of Bruce. He was glad to hear that Robin was recovering and was apologetic for the delayed response. He broke the news that Robin's adopted brother, Damien, had ran away when he heard about Robin. Robin replied and vowed to keep his eyes open for Damien. He shut his laptop and lie in his bed, thinking about where Damien could've gone.

The next few days were pretty rough for Bee. She felt obligated to suck her stomach in as much as possible which was not helped by the nausea she felt. As she watched their training, she kept holding back the urge to throw up. Aqualad made a mental note of how uncomfortable she looked but continued with leading practice. After practice, she rushed off to her room to throw up alone. After a week of successfully dodging suspicion, Aqualad knocked on Bee's door for their de-briefing. Before she could say anything, she threw up into the trash bucket she had next to her desk and Aqualad barged in with worry. He eyed the sight of her working at her desk with a bucket in her lap as he closed the door.

"How long have you been sick?" Aqualad questioned.

"I'm not sick..." Bee protested but then threw up again.

"Oh and I'm supposed to believe that this is completely normal? You are never sick!" Aqualad scolded. "You're running yourself ragged!"

"...That's not what it is..." Bee came up from the bucket, looking a little out of it.

"Okay, then let's go up to our medical wing and figure out what it is then. If you're so insistent that you're fine—" Aqualad continues to argue before Bee cut him off.

"I'm not sick, I'm pregnant!" Bee shouted annoyed. "But you can't tell anyone because if a villain finds out, then I become a target!" She threw up again as Aqualad sat down on her bed in shock.

"But, you're with Cyborg? Why would you cheat on him!?" Aqualad questioned softly.

"I didn't, This was all intentional...He got me pregnant with a spell....we've wanted this for a while..." Bee said, catching her breath from all of the throwing up.

"How far along are you?" Aqualad asked in a soft whisper.

"About 2 months..." Bee smiled as she softly out her hand on her slight swollen stomach as she set the trash can on the floor.

"How are you going to hide it from the others? You'll start showing before your two months is up here." Aqualad asked the question she didn't know how to answer yet.

"I'm not sure yet... I've been so uncomfortable trying to hide it." She sat and thought as Aqualad waited. "I'm honestly not sure how to answer that one yet and I'm sure you know why..."  Aqualad nodded, knowing what and who she was referring to.

"Well, outside of the throwing up, how are you feeling?" He asked, still concerned that she shouldn't even be there.

"I'm tired and achey but otherwise normal." She stayed as she got up and sat on the bed next to him. The two had their meeting and decided on how they were going to handle telling the rest of Titans East this week.

Cyborg, Robin, and Beastboy were playing video games in the living room when the tower got a mysterious alarm for the front door. Cyborg jumped up to go investigate while the other Titans prepared in the living room. To his surprise, he opened the door to see a younger, shorter version of Robin standing in front of him.

"Hey yo Robin! You've got a fan here!" Cyborg shouted over his shoulder as the smaller Robin pushed passed him. "Hey—wait kid! You can't just come in here...?" Cyborg chases but was surprised to see Robin scoop up the impersonator into a big hug.

"Damien! I was so worried!" Shouted as he released the smaller Robin.

"Dick! Where is your mask? Your uniform??" Damien questioned frantically seeing the black tee and jeans that had become Robin's new wardrobe.

"I'm just on a break..." he trailed off.

"Wait, does that mean I can finally become Robin?" Damien shouted with excitement as the other Titans watched.

Bee struggled through another week of hiding everything but found herself getting exhausted by the end of the day with training and the occasional battles. Speedy was the next person with questions and then Kid Flash noticed her slowing down in battles. By the end of the week she finally announced it to the group, pleading for secrecy. The group complied, but Bee had an extra eye on Jinx.

Dick had to tell Damien he'd think about handing over the Robin title. Dick knew how rough Bruce could get so Alfred let Damien stay with the Titans. Dick was starting to seriously consider a change when Starfire reminded him of what she saw in the future.

Nightwing

He liked the way that sounded. He could become a new hero with as he eased back into fighting and Damien could fill his shoes as Robin so the public would think he was back to normal. It was an interesting idea for sure!
