Oh Baby!

After a fun morning, Cyborg and Bee showered to get ready to go into town. Bee was looking through Cyborg's closet for something cute for him to wear but was greeted by a lack of options. All she could find were a pair of black jogger sweatpants and a grey tank top. Bee dressed in some denim shorts and a black crop top as Cyborg got dressed. They checked the location in their communicators to see the Titans were still at the beach so they could avoid being seen. Cyborg and Bee got into the T-car and drove to the amusement park to have a date of their own.

Meanwhile, the rest of the Titans had spent the day goofing off in the water. Robin and Raven were starting to get a light sunburn while Beastboy and Starfire were clearly unaffected. Robin went to the umbrella with Raven for a break and food as Starfire and dog Beastboy played fetch with a frisbee.

"Beastboy just doesn't run out of energy, does he?" Robin smirked.

"Yeah." Raven mumbled sounding distant watching Beastboy.

"Everything okay?" Robin asked noticing the shift in her attention.

"Yeah—um, he's been much more energetic since the antidote." Raven stated as she grabbed a green apple from the cooler.

"Interesting side effect..." Robin trailed off watching the green dog sprint across the beach. Starfire flew over to grab a juice box and to lay on the towel next to Robin. He snuck a quick kiss from Starfire while Raven watched Beastboy run back to the umbrella.

At the amusement park, Cyborg took Bee on all of the roller coasters since he was previously too heavy due to being made out of metal. After trying every ride, the ate funnel cakes and fried peaches until Cyborg realized his appetite was significantly smaller as a human. The two sat, painfully stuffed in the Ferris Wheel, watching the city buzz about below. When they got to the top, Cyborg gave Bee a quick kiss on the cheek and she squeezed his hand in hers.

The group at the beach ate lunch and relaxed together under the umbrella. Starfire, Robin, and Raven we're getting tired but no one had motivation to leave yet. Starfire had fallen asleep on her towel and Robin was starting to nod off. Raven was reading a book while Beastboy was a lizard, basking in the sun.

Cyborg and Bee were walking toward the T-car, holding hands when Cyborg started to get an unusual head ache. The headache made his vision splotchy in his right eye. He gave the keys to Bee and had her drive home. Once they got in the door, he grabbed some ice from the freezer and held it against his head to no relief. They went to the bedroom to snuggle and watch a movie until the others got home.

After a while, Robin started to pack up the camp with the help of Raven's powers. Starfire called in a to-go order of their favorite pizza place and Beastboy took the trash to the beach dumpster. Once in the car, Robin and Raven looked significantly pinker than anyone initially thought.

"I thought I was the only one who could turn into a lobster!" Beastboy joked as Raven rolled her eyes.

"Indeed! You are the color of Robin's vehicle!" Starfire said with a squeal causing Robin to laugh.

"Woah Star, careful before I confuse you with Beastboy..." Raven smirked sarcastically at her joke. The rest of the ride was quiet due to Raven and Starfire falling asleep in the car and neither boy wanting to disturb them.

Once back in the tower the team had showered and Starfire, Raven, and Beastboy left to do a quick patrol and to pick up the pizzas. Robin walked around the tower looking for something to do that wouldn't disturb Cyborg or Bee.

Cyborg had fallen asleep watching the movie and Bee was starting to nod off when Cyborg winced in his sleep. Sitting up, she watched Cyborg twitch and jostle under the covers. When she woke him up, he gasped in pain and curled up into a ball holding his stomach.

"I think the spell is wearing off!" He grunted through gritted teeth. Bee panicked and called Raven on her communicator ask she flew through the city for patrol.

"Raven, the spell is wearing off early and Cyborg is in pain. What can we do?" Bee pleaded watching Cyborg's agony start to unfold.

"Nothing. You can't speed up the process without affecting him. All magic comes at a price, his is just higher because of how much damage was done in his accident." Raven explained flatly.

"What about pain medication? Could that work?" Bee desperately asked as Cyborg cried out loudly in the background.

"You could try sedating him for the night, but I'm not sure if he'll feel anything or not..." Raven offered as her feet hit the ground, "Robin is the only one home if you need help."

"No, I don't know about telling Robin yet. I'll try sedating him and see if that helps. Thanks girl!" Bee snapped her communicator shut and ran out of their bedroom door to run head first into Robin. Bee panicked.

"I heard Cyborg shout, is he okay?" Robin asked with concern folding his arms.

"Ughhh, stay here, I'll explain in a second!" Bee shouted and she flew off to grab a mild sedative from the hospital wing. She came back with the syringe in hand and Robin followed Bee into her room. When he walked in and saw a human looking Cyborg laying in bed shaking from the pain.

"Okay, explain what's the hell is going on!" Robin commanded bringing back his old authoritative voice. Bee ignored him long enough to stick Cyborg in the arm with the syringe and tapped a cotton ball to his arm.

"Raven helped us with a spell to make Cyborg human for a day and the spell is wearing off more painfully than we expected." Bee explained nervously.

Stunned, Robin shouted, "Why the hell would you try to do that!?"  while Bee looked down at the floor. She felt tremendously guilty because Cyborg did this for her.

"Because this was the only way we could start a family!" Cyborg yelled through his pain to defend Bee from being yelled at. He pushed himself upright with his right arm and kept his left arm wrapped around his stomach. "You don't know what it's like. You get to walk away from your role as hero if you want. I can never take this body off and Bee can only hide her wings so well. We want to have kids, start a family, start our futures. We want to have a life too!" Cyborg shouted angrily. Bee watched Cyborg let out his anger in a way she had never seen before. Then, as if on cue, the sedative kicked in. Cyborg felt him arm holding him up, go weak as he flopped back into his pillow.

"I'm so sorry Cy, I had no idea!" Was the last thing Cyborg heard from Robin before he blacked out from the sedative.

Robin apologized profusely to Bee that night and Cyborg when he woke up normal the next morning. He promised to keep this information quiet until they knew for sure if Bee was pregnant.

The next couple of weeks ticked by slowly for Cyborg. Everyone noticed that he was a little extra edgy lately but no one brought it up. Everyone assumed it was because Bee was out of town, visiting Titans East but the reality was he was nervous about the results. Raven had suggested the spell was too severe to try again so a lot was riding on this attempt. The day Bee was supposed to come back, she was delayed an extra week. Having to stay for a third week drove Cyborg crazy with nerves but she refused to take the pregnancy test without him. Bee was adamant that they would find out together and celebrate together.

The third week was rough on the team as well. Cyborg took out his bad mood on the team's training, making the obstacle course harder than ever. Starfire came into the sofa toward the end of the week with burnt hair and flopped down next to Robin as he watched the news.

"You have made a monster!" Starfire groaned as she fell over into Robin's lap. It was rare for Starfire to be sore but even she was feeling the training. Beastboy went to find solace with Raven, hoping she was in a sleeping mood and Cyborg went to spend some alone time in his workshop.

Bee finally caught an early flight that night and surprised Cyborg at around midnight by waking him up. She set her bags down at the side of the bed as he sprung up to hug her.

"How are you feeling? Do you feel any different?" Cyborg prodded.

"Not really, but I have a test to take so let's go!" She pulled him out of bed with a giddy giggle. They walked out to the hall together and he waited outside the door. She finished and left the test in the bathroom to wait outside with Cyborg for the 3 minutes. Cyborg kept impatiently eyeing the clock on his arm until the three minutes had passed.

"Are you ready?" Cyborg asked holding her hand as he followed her into the bathroom. She looked down at the test on the counter and saw the plus sign. Bee erupted in happy screams and crying. Cyborg held her tight, celebrating together. The rest of the team had heard the commotion and went out to the hallway to investigate. When Cyborg opened the bathroom door, Raven, Robin, Starfire, And Beastboy all glared angrily in their pajamas.

"Whyyyy did you screeeaaam in the bathroom!?" Beastboy yelled over dramatically.  Robin noticed the tears in both of their eyes and elbowed Beastboy incase it was bad news.

"What is the matter? Why do you cry?" Starfire asked with a groggy voice.

"Nothing is wrong, Star!" Bee smiles happily with more tears coming out. She held up the pregnancy test as Cyborg shouted:

"We're having a baby!"
