Raven knocked on Starfire's door. She opened holding Silkie.

"What is it friend?" Starfire looked confused.

"I'm taking care of Robin's medicine today. He looks like he needs some company. You should go!" Raven said in a monotone voice.

"Many thanks, Raven! I shall go at once!" Starfire blurted as she flew past Raven with Silkie tucked under her arm like a football. Once she arrived in Robin's hospital room, she stared at his bare face. "Robin?" She asked softly noticing the remorse in his blue eyes.

"Hi Star." Robin whispered with a weak grin.

"Where's your mask?" She whispered placing Silkie on his stomach, careful to avoid the bruises. Silkie snuggled under Robin's shaky hand with a lot of effort from Robin.

"Star, I think this is it. I think I need to quit fighting." He started watching the shock and refusal paint Starfire's face.

"NOOO!! You mustn't!!" She shouted but Robin wasn't hearing her plea.

"Look at me Star!" Robin shouted ignoring the pain in his ribs. "I can barely pick up my hand! I can't breathe normally! How can I fight? How can I lead this team in battle if I can't even walk!?" Robin shouted with a red face. He grabbed his chest in pain from the outburst. He was panting with a wave of pain racking himself in the ribs but nothing compared to the sadness he caused in Starfire's eyes. "I'm sorry I yelled..." he whispered as a start, "I shouldn't have yelled..."

"You are the upset. You can not know how you can recover until you have done the recovering!" Starfire protested with her arms crossed. "But..." Starfire began, "if you wish to quit...I am still with you." She whispered and gave his hand a squeeze.

Raven walked back to her room and saw Beastboy sitting on her bed, giggling.

"Rae! Do you hear what I hear!?" Beastboy giggled like a child.

"No?" Raven muttered with confusion.

"Cyborg and Bee—" Beastboy started before Raven pelted him with a few books with a grin.

"What? They're noisy!" Beastboy said sheepishly as more books flew his way.

The two laughed as Raven's powers attacked Beastboy with a barrage of books.

Bee stood up to go find the bathroom and her legs shook with each step. This was the first time they had moved past kissing and she enjoyed every second of it. She walked into the bathroom and cranked the sink on. She splashed her face and examined her face in the mirror. Her brown cheeks seemed to glow with her smile. She felt light, almost weightless. 'Is this what love feels like?' she asked herself in the mirror. With a content sigh, she walked out and went back to Cyborg's room. Cyborg was laying there peacefully, waiting for her to come back.

"You're full of surprises, Sparky!" Bee said with a smirk as she closed the door behind her. This day was all theirs and she was ready to have a little alone time with Cyborg.

"Well thanks my queen!" He whispered softly as she snuggled in next to him. He reached his arms around her and she laid her head on the human bicep that shown through the metal shoulder.

"Is there anything I can do for you?" Bee whispered softly and watched his mood shift. "I'm sorry! I just want to return the favor."

"I don't know..." Cyborg whispered nervously. "It's just, no one's ever wanted to...with a robot, I mean..." Cyborg had never felt this nervous before. He had no idea what her reaction would be.

"Well, do you, you know..." Bee was stumbling over her words because she didn't know how to ask what she'd always wondered. "Do you have one?"

"Yeah...my dad saved some of my internal organs and mechanized what he couldn't...my chest, abdomen, pelvis, it's all wired together and protected under multiple plates of metal...but I gotta warn you, you won't want to be with me when you see how I was reconstructed...no one ever does." Cyborg said sadly.

"I promise I'll stay." Bee whispered before kissing his forehead.

Cyborg rolled over onto his back as Bee kneeled on the bed by his side. He reluctantly opened his chest passed the armor and metal ribs to see a half human/half metal heart, two human lungs wired to a wire mesh diaphragm, and a cluster of metal pipes and wires carry blood and electricity around his body. Cyborg's eyes were closed partially out of fear for what her facial expression might be saying. He felt her hand lay softly on his heart which caused him to open his eyes with surprise.

"When I open my chest cavity like this, I'm completely vulnerable." He whispered and then proceeded to open his abdomen. His intestines were mostly metal and there were a lot more wires and chips plugged into various places that lead down to a few human organs like a kidney and a bladder.

After a few moments, he shut both his chest and his abdomen. He took a deep breath to gather his courage as he took off the underwear shaped plate over his pelvis to reveal the last parts of his human body. The metal pelvic bone    and the intricate wire systems that replace the renal processes were covered in his own skin, all the way down. Underneath the skin you could see the metal pieces intertwined with the human parts. Cyborg closed his eyes as he laid there silently. He was terrified. He had just shown the love of his life his manhood and there wasn't a sound. He could feel his confidence dying as he felt Bee get up off of the bed. His heart sank as he kept his eyes closed.

"Just go, you know you want to." Cyborg whispered as he waited to hear the door. He didn't want to open his eyes and see the horror or disgust on her face. Suddenly he felt her get back on the bed and straddle him with her knees.

"Who said I was done with you?" Bee sassed back as his eyes shot open is disbelief to see here face in front of his.

"By why would you want to be with a thing like me?" Cyborg whispered. "You could be with anyone...why me?"

"Because who's going to love me like you do?" She whispered as she leaned in for a kiss. She sat on top of him and pulled her striped top off in between kisses. Cyborg helped her with her skirt zipper. Bee could feel his excitement growing as she pushed her hips into his. He slid in and the two just stopped to savor the moment. Neither Bee nor Cyborg had felt anything like this before. It was as if they were made for each other. A small gasp escaped Bee's lips as they began.
