(arre madubalaji how can i leave you just like that... i didnt hold you just to leave you...) he said looking into her tearful eyes... he was in a daze... seeing this nandu rolled her eyes while everyone started whispering... mukthi and aliya were thinking what the hell is happening... while manik deliberately made some noise seeing them not responding... this sound made everyone turn to manik while he just smiled and of course this brought the couple out of their la la land... cabir immediately let her go while she set her dress and went near nandu... while nandu looked at manik with wide eyes shocked... but then composed and looked away... while manik smiled seeing her...

mukthi: cabir what the hell was happening... she said folding her hands and stood in front of him while he smiled sheepishly...

cabir: arre hum... i mean i was thinking about something else yaar... he said and was about to give an elaborated explanation when the bell rang making the students disperse... listening this nandu took navya's hand and started leaving...

aliya: hey behenji how dare you try to escape ha... what's your name... she said making nandu halt in her tracks... *seriously aliya behenji... in that attire😞*

nandu: NANDINI MURTHY.... she said looking straight at manik while he just gave her an amused look... she started to walk forward towards manik who looked even more amazed to see her walking straight to him... she slipped and fell on manik who was by the way sitting on the chair...she balanced herself and whispered near his ear...

nandu: its Mrs. NANDINI MANIK MALHOTRA for you by the way... she said and stood up and winked at him secretly then walked away with navya with a smirk... while manik was having a playful smile on his face... when cabir came near him and whispered...

cabir: arre bhai mei ne tho suna ki ladkiya tum pe mar thi hai par ye pehli baar deka ki ladkiya tum pe gir thi bhi hai... (arre bro i heard girls die for you... but for the first time i saw that girls even fall on you...) he said and started to laugh... while mukthi and aliya came near them...

mukthi: yaar cabir tu has kyun raha hai... (cabir why are you laughing...) she said looking at him weirdly while he shook his head still laughing... while mukthi got a call and excused her self...

aliya: manik baby... why don't we go on a date today... she said warping her arms around him... while shook his head...

manik: aliya we are not going any where... i will make it clear to you... aliya sorry but i only want to us to be friends... i hope you don't mind... * you wont anyways...* he said and started walking away... while cabir called him from behind...

cabir: yaar kaha jaa raha hai tu... tu tho gayab hi ho raha hai aaj kal... bhabhi ka asar hai kya... (yaar where are you going... you are almost disappearing nowadays... is it my sister in law's influence....) he said wiggling his brow in a funny manner while manik just laughed shaking his head...

manik: haa ab uss ke pass hi jaa raha hoon... (yea and i am going to her right now...) he said and smiled remembering their little fight this morning... seeing him smile cabir was genuinely happy as he was seeing manik smile after such a long time... he doesn't mean that manik was not smiling or laughing... he smiled and laughed but it didn't reach his eyes... he was devastated after that incident with aliya...

cabir: ab mujhe meri bhabhi se jaroor mil na hai...( now i seriously want to meet sister in law...) i want to see what magic she used to make you smile like this... he said looking at manik seriously while listening to him manik just grinned...

manik: tu ne usse deka bhi hai aur suna bhi... (you saw her and heard her too) he said grinning widely... while cabir was confused...

cabir: matlab... me samjha nahi... (what.... i didnt understand...) he said looking at manik as if he has grown two horns...

manik: arre woh according to you jo mujh par giri.... (arre that girl who according to you fell on me...) nandini murthy... NAH MALHOTRA... NANDINI MANIK MALHOTRA... he said smiling with unknown satisfaction... while cabir opened his eyes wide like soccer balls...

cabir: WHAT.... MADUBALA KI SAVIOR... he said sorry shouted literally but thank god no one was there... manik glared him for being loud... cabir smiled sheepishly...

cabir: woh expressionless girl... (that... expressionless girl...) he said making manik frown...

manik: seriously cabir... expressionless no way... she is like a package full of dramatic expressions.... he said remembering her antics... while cabir looked like he was in deep thought...

cabir: may be it was only for you... maybe you are special to her some way as i didn't see her change her expression except her frown and ha a smirk... he said looking at manik seriously while he just shrugged...

manik: cabir i have some work... but i will come in time for the jam and after that meet me at our usual place ok... he said and walked away leaving cabir in a deep thought...

cabir: *kuch tho baat hai iss nandini me... ( there is something special in this nandini....) why do i feel like something is gonna happen... i need to find out who you really are... nandini murthy...* he said and walked away to his class...

manik was sitting there waiting for nandu while looking at his phone... meanwhile nandu reached there to see him like this... she narrowed her eyes and pulled his phone that's when manik noticed her... he stood up and went near her...

manik: hey nandini... he said while she glared him even more... while he looked at her with a 'maine kya kiya (what did i do)' look... while she pouted and turned away... he held her arm and turned towards him and wrapped his arms around her unknowingly... while she just threw her arms around his neck while playing with his collar... it was as if everything was natural, them being this close was common...

manik: hey dreamy look at me... why are you angry... he said lifting her chin up... while she looked up and glared at him... then pulled her collar to show a red dot on her collar bone... while he looked at it confusingly...

manik: what happened did mosquitoes bite you... he said rubbing the red dot while she just pushed his arm and glared at him in disbelief...

nandu: yeah a big MANIK MALHOTRA MOSQUITO BIT ME... she said while manik looked at her in shock and pointed at himself and the red dot on her neck... while she nodded at him...

manik: but why are you angry at me... didn't you like it... he said being confused but it became a bit awkward as he remembered her confession... seeing him fidgeting she understood that he remembered her confession... she just sighed...

nandu: its not that mani... i think i should go... she said and turned to go away... while listening this manik understood that something was wrong... he held her hand and hugged her... while nandu was caught off guard...

nandu: mani...

manik: shh dreamy listen... no matter what i wont leave you... nor will i cheat on you ok... as i did marry you so i will take responsibility... i know its... not love........ yet...... but i will be loyal to you... he said while she tightened her hold around him... and took a deep breath inhaling his scent...

nandu: hmm... navu must be waiting... she said while blushing a little and broke the hug... manik had a teasing smile on his face...

manik: arre aise kaise jaa rahi ho... pati hoon tum hara... ( arre how can you go just like that... i am your husband....) I need to spend more time with you and its my right... he said pulling her back into his arms...

nandu: mani chodo na... (mani leave me...) mani please... she said looking at him with puppy eyes... while manik laughed heartily while she just smiled seeing him...

manik: accha teek hai baba...(ok fine) happy... he said and let her go... while she tiptoed and kissed him on his lips and smiled widely... then went away leaving a shocked manik behind...

manik: ye ladki tho mujhe pagal bana degi... (this girl..she is gonna make me crazy some day....) he thought out loud and bit his lip smiling...
