manik: nandu are you OK... he asked being concerned... while nandu who was STANDING WITH navya just smiled a little reassuringly and looked at the people who FELL down with an expressionless face...

flashback...

nandu and navya were walking when nandu felt someone was about to approach her... the hand was just about to land on her shoulder when nandu twisted herself and gave him a round horse kick... he flew back and fell down...

seeing him bleeding a little everyone surrounded them... it soon a became a commotion...

nandu saw manik coming near she muttered something under her breath...

nandu: SHIT!!.... she cursed out a loud... seeing their friend getting beaten up by some girl... a another boy came near nandu... who unconsciously put up her defense and caught his punch... and of course returned the favor...

nandu: *dare you interrupt ME... huh million years too early...* she thought angrily as she was about to speak with manik...

manik angrily glared the boy who now stood up... his cheek was swollen a little...

cabir: * something is wrong here... how can someone pack a punch enough to knock out a healthy man... not just one but two people were injured... NANDINI MURTHY... meri bhabhi kya chupa rahi ho aap... i need to find out...* he thought and looked at navya who was smirking looking at the two injured people... she soon left to somewhere while cabir decided to follow her and left the canteen saying he had something important work to mukthi and dhruv who were dumbfounded by the incident and just nodded... taking the chance cabir followed navya who was unaware and just humming a song and going...

behind the music room... near the stair case...

manik was about to speak when he observed nandu's fist... it was red with a little blood here and there... he used his hand to open her fist....

manik: *damn girl... how much strength do you have... see how red your hand became...* he thought and slightly caressed her hand while she cringed and looked at him suddenly... her eyes were for a moment filled with murderous glint and anger but soon turned expressionless.... he was taken aback by that a little... it wasn't just an ordinary expression...

nandu: *no i shouldn't... i don't want my Mani to hate me... i am not the same now... remember your not NM anymore... you are nandini... Mani's dreamy...* she thought and her eyes suddenly went blank suppressing her emotion... manik hugged her tightly and patted her back...

manik: shush.... i am always here for you.... he said patting her head... while nandu just took a deep breath inhaling his scent and calmed down a little...

manik: dreamy... how did you learn to fight... he asked curiously... while nandu knew this was gonna come and took a deep breath...

nandu: just some self defense... she said and smiled being a little troubled but manik couldn't see her expression as he was hugging her... he could sense that something was wrong but didn't say anything... trying to lighten the atmosphere manik spoke...

manik: nandu you're so short... he said smiling while nandu pouted angrily...

Nandu: shut up Mani... she said narrowing her eyes and angrily pouting...

Manik:...... it's cute... he said pinching her cheeks while bending a little while nandu smiled widely but if we look closely we can see a little red blush on her cheeks...

nandu: Mani can we go home early today... she said while manik nodded...

manik: but why... he asked being confused... while she hit her forehead slightly...

nandu: arre buddhu tomorrow is new year na... she said while manik fake exclaimed oh... he already knew what tomorrow was obviously as preparations were going on in space too... he just smiled at her and nodded saying OK lets go.... while listening this nandu excitedly dragged manik along with her who was just smiling at her faintly... they came near his car only to find it missing... he remembered that he had gave the keys to someone...

nandu: offo Mani... wait let me get my car... she said while manik just obediently nodded... she smiled seeing this... she then went to get her car...

manik: wow nandu she is beautiful... he said while she smirked... manik hopped in and they moved towards malhotra mansion...

it was almost evening when they reached home... malhotra mansion was being decorated as it was new year....

nandu dragged manik up... they went into their secret room... nandu gave manik a parcel while manik smiled accepting it... he then opened it to see an outfit...

Manik: wow dreamy it's nice... he said and gave a wow look... while nandu raised her brow and flipped her hair... Manik smiled and went to bring his gift for nandu... seeing this nandu snatched the packet and started to carefully open it... while manik shook his head in disbelief... she opened the dress to see......

Nandu: thank you so much Mani... it's so beautiful... she said and kissed his cheeks... while manik pouted...

Manik: only on the cheeks aa... he said playfully... while nandu looked at him amusingly... she smirked and gave a big kiss on his lips... Manik smiled widely... they kept their dresses in the closet and nandu changed to her PJ's while manik just took off his shirt and put on his shorts...

They hugged each other tightly as they drifted to a peaceful slumber...

it was almost mid night when nandu woke up... and slowly slipped from away manik's embrace and went away...

after sometime...

nandu: mani... mani... wake up na... hmm mani... she said lightly patting his head while manik snuggled against her hand... she smiled widely looking at this... soon manik woke up after lot of tries... manik opened his eyes to see nandu smiling widely...

nandu: happy new year mani... she said smiling cutely while manik smiled with sleepy eyes making nandu daze a bit... soon she realized and moved away... when manik saw...

the room was filled with stars and constellations... he looked all around the room with a smile...

nandu: how is it mani... she asked curiously while manik just smiled and laid on the bed again and started looking at them while nandu too joined him... they both stared the stars in silence when manik broke it...

manik: its so beautiful nandu... i love it... he said staring at her who was still staring at the ceiling... while feeling his stare she turned towards him to notice that they were a little too close... manik leaned in while nandu too was about to lean in when he suddenly pulled away and manik sat on the bed... nandu frowned a little but chucked it...

manik: nandu go get ready in the dress i gave you... he said and went away with his outfit before nandu could ask him anything....

after some time nandu came out in the dress manik gave her... she was looking stunning... manik looked at her with his mouth wide open while nandu too openly checked him out...

manik: like what you see... he said smiling smugly while nandu went near him very near and whispered in his ear...

nandu: yeah... i seriously don't wanna go out now after seeing you... she said while manik's eyes widened by 100%... nandu laughed seeing him... while he smiled looking at her and escorted her into the car... manik started the car and started to drive... nandu was asking him where they were going while manik just smiled in response seeing her so impatient...

they soon reached their destination... it was a building made of glass... nandu was looking at everything with astonishment...

nandu: wowww... you always make speechless mani... she said looking at him admiringly who was unaware of it...

manik and nandu reached their floor... nandu was really taken aback... their ideas were really similar...

she twirled around giggling... while manik was admiring her... he unconsciously went near her... he held her waist and turned her towards himself... they both were staring at each other in a daze... nandu wrapped her arms around manik and a soft tune started top play as they danced... they were this close to kissing when manik's phone rang... it was FAB5... ( awe missed again...)

phone conversation.....

manik: happy new year guys.... he said smiling while nandu just stood beside him smiling...

manik: arre listen............................................ accha teek hai teek hai................... OK 5 minutes... he said and cut the call... while nandu raised her brow asking what...
