Manik woke up to see Nandini still sleeping hugging him tightly... he smiled at her... but it soon turned into a frown as he heard someone calling his name... hearing this commotion nandu too woke up with a frown... listening to the voice of the speaker Manik muttered...

Manik: ALIYA... he said slowly under his breath frowning... hearing this nandu frowned even more... she slightly whispered...

Nandu: who... why... she said slowly making Manik realize that she was awake... he patted her head lightly trying to lull her to sleep...

Manik: sleep dreamy... I will handle it... he said... and stood up to leave when he felt a small hand squeeze his hand stopping in his tracks... he looked down to see Nandini holding his hand with a frown... he sat on the bed again with a soft sigh...

Manik: do you... want to come with me... he said implying that he was ready to tell everyone about them... but Nandini shook her head in a no...

Nandini: first your mom dad... then others... she said and yawned as she was still a little sleepy... Manik just nodded his head at this but a small smile was playing on his face seeing her giving priority to his parents... he patted her head and turned to leave when nandu pulled him by his collar and lightly pecked his lips... she then stood up and went to washroom to fresh up... while Manik was just looking at where she went with a shocked face...

Manik pov...

Nandini... I don't know why my heart skips a beat... i dont wanna confuse it with love... i had enough drama... my heart is tired... but i will support you and take care of you for sure... maybe we are moving fast... I know there is so much more to you... but right now I need to solve something so I need you to wait for me... I wonder what mom will do if she knew about my marriage...

Manik went out of the room through the secret door and quickly freshen up and got ready for the college... he went down to see FAB4 sitting there on the sofa... he took a deep breath and went near them...

Manik: hey guys... he said and plopped on the sofa... to which FAB4 gave him what the hell wala look...

Cabir: hey ke bacche... where the hell were you Manik... ek phone nahi aur ek message nahi... (not even one phone call or message...) you didn't even respond to the calls... he said standing up... while Manik just looked at him...

Mukthi: ha Manik... you should have at least sent a message...

Manik: common cabir... hey ke bacche nahi ho the... (hey doesn't have kids...) and mukthi I was... out because dad gave me some work... ok guys enough of this... lets go and jam yaar... its been a long time since we did it... he said lying with ease... then stood up and started going near the exit while FAB4 also followed, there were so many times Manik's dad called him, so no one questioned...

Nandini came out after freshening up... and went near the mirror then started to dry her hair... she then went near her bag and took a file from it and started reading it... after finishing the file... she took her phone and dialed a number...

FAB5 entered the college with attitude... they directly went to towards the canteen and sat at their usual place... they were just talking and laughing at cabir's lame jokes when manik's phone rang... it was his Dadi... he gestured FAB4 that he would come in a minute and went near the staircase behind the music room...

Dadi: WHO. IS. SHE. MR. MALHOTRA... she said emphasizing each word... while Manik just rolled his eyes at his drama queen Dadi... he sent a message in the family chat yesterday... it only contained one line...

Manik: mom, dad, jannu, and DJ... I got married yesterday... that's all it said... short and simple he thought but it created havoc in the group... he didn't even know what to explain... soon the chat was flooded with questions...

neyo: maan... are you serious... stop joking ok... she said with a laughing emoji...😂

jannu: mannu... ye kya mazak hai... she said with an angry emoji...😠

raj: Manik... what the hell are you talking about...

manik: no mom I am not joking... and jannu i am really serious... dad I really did marry a girl...

Dadi: ok... ok send it now I want to see who is the lucky girl who married my mannu... she said and cut the call in excitement while he just shook his head in disbelief chuckling... and sent the pic which they took yesterday in the registration office...

it had been a while since he talked to his jannu but she is still the same bubbly grandma... his grandparents live in New York managing the NY branch while his parents were now in Pune as there were some problems with the branch there...

right now only Manik was handling Mumbai branch and he was capable of doing it on his own... though it's a bit of struggle between his music and work he always managed them both... his reason... because he wanted to stand on his own feet... soon Manik went from there...

in the living room, we can see an old women jumping and time to time checking her phone... while an old man who was sitting on the sofa was irritated by her...

old man: common Priya... stop jumping... and I still can't believe that manik is married... HA LOOKS LIKE HE BECAME SO DUMB THAT HE LOST HIS MIND... he muttered the last line but she obviously heard him as she raised her head questioning him what... while he shook his head in a no... ping* there was a message to her phone and which is obviously her good grandson... even ram was peeking in her phone to see who his dumb grandson married only to get shocked...

Priya: oh god... oh god... you made my wish come true... she said jumping a little while ram literally snatched the phone from Priya's hand and widened his eyes to see clearly...

ram: hmm... my grandson finally became sensible and found his brain... he said looking at the picture with little wet eyes...

Manik entered the canteen to see FAB4 still sitting there... he frowned as they should have left to the jam room but when he saw cabir gulping the food down he understood what happened... he went near them and took his seat...

Manik: cabir dheere se kha tumhara khana tho koi bhi nahi khaye ga... (cabir eat slowly no one is gonna steal your food...) he said shaking his head in disbelief... while cabir frowned with a mouth full of food...

Cabir: tulhe kaa pala hai... I alm damn hungly... ( tumhe Kya pata hai (what do you know)... I am damn hungry...) he said with his mouth full of food... while mukthi and aliya put a disgusted expression...

aliya: chee cabir... first eat and then speak... she said and looked away while cabir just rolled his eyes and gulped the food in his mouth...

cabir: ab hum bhakri se tho acchi tara se kha the hai na... (at least I eat well compared to a goat...) he said while everyone looked at cabir in confusion... seeing aliya's plate everyone understood and started laughing... while aliya glared cabir and looked at manik who was also laughing...

aliya: common baby... stop laughing... she said and pouted making everyone laugh even more...

cabir: so... you guys are dating each other... he said raising his head from his plate...
