at malhotra mansion....

manik entered the room which was empty since the time it was renovated... it was a drawing room... but what he saw made him really speechless... nandu was sitting on the floor with a PAINT BRUSH in her hands and was wearing a cute confused expression... manik took his mobile to capture this moment...

sensing some one near her she looked at the door to see manik standing with his mobile... nandu smiled in delight seeing him back... she quickly walked near him and dragged him near her painting showing it to him... while manik smiled at her childishness... but when he saw the painting he was beyond shocked...

it was so beautiful... not hearing anything nandu became sad...

nandu: mani is it not nice... she said holding the hem of his jacket... while manik turned towards her and hugged her and twirled her around...

manik: dreamy its so beautiful... i am gonna frame it and keep it in our room... he said while nandu smiled brightly...who doesn't like being praised by their loved ones right...

nandu: accha mani why did you come so early... she said frowning as he said he would be late...

manik: offo i totally forgot... i needed a file so i came to get it... he said and they both went up... he opened the closet to see his outfits piled up while nandu only had a little... he thought to ask but he forgot to do it every time...

manik: dreamy we are gonna go shopping... he announced while nandu frowned as she didn't like the idea of this "shopping" much... seeing her expression he understood that she didn't like to go on shopping unlike aliya...

manik: no arguments dreamy... he said and searched his file... he soon found it and turned to nandini who was now playing candy crush on her phone...

manik: nandu you are coming with me to office then we will go to shopping directly... he said while nandu nodded with a pout... manik ruffled her hair and went down... nandu changed her dress as the previous one had paint on it... they both made their way to their destination...

everyone greeted manik while he went to the meeting room directly with nandu... he asked nandu to wait in his cabin while he finishes the meeting... everyone was whispering about her... as it was their first time seeing their boss bring a woman to his office... neyonika came and greeted nandu with a hug who returned her hug... they chatted for a while when neyonika had to go...

after an hour of playing candy crush... manik came in to see a bored nandu looking out of the window... he smiled at her and went near her... he tapped her shoulder slightly to bring her out of daze... nandu turned to see manik standing... she smiled at him... while manik gestured her to come with him... they left to their second destination of the day... SHOPPING...

at some mall...

manik and nandu entered the mall and went to ladies dress shops... they were greeted by two sales ladies who smiled and welcomed them... they smiled even more at manik especially... seeing this nandu looked at manik who was looking everywhere but her...

they went in and ordered to show some clothes... manik was busy SELECTING while nandini was busy PLAYING CANDY CRUSH... he selected a dozen clothes then called nandu to try them... she went and tried some dresses and came out to show them to manik...

seeing her everyone was mesmerized... manik was the most happiest as he selected those dresses...

sales girl: sir your sister is looking very cute... she said trying her best to gain his attention who was busy seeing his nandu... listening this nandu went near them...

nandu: excuse me... he is my husband... so could you go away... she said straight forwardly... listening this manik suppressed his laugh... while sales lady just smiled and went away...

nandu: mani what were you doing... she said turning away from him...

manik: arre dreamy me ne kya kiya... tumhara husband ki handsomeness ko kaise chupa sakte hai... aur me ne kuch nahi kiya... he said looking oh so innocent while nandu just humphed...

manik: accha accha teek hai baba... i am only yours ok... he said making her smile... she turned and squeezed his cheeks with a smile and went to change her dress...

manik: ouch... he said but smiled seeing her retreating figure...

*heart: you did the right thing manik... while mind hummed in response...*
