( you saved me... how could I ever hate you... how could I ever choose something on you...) she thought and kissed his heart... this was all observed by a pair of eyes... which looked a bit disapproving...

Manik and nandu stood hugging each other for some time when they heard the announcement...

Announcement...

All the not so dear students... get your asses near the Audi... don't even think about skipping the lecture... if you do I will leave that to your imagination.... well let's cut the chase... you are gonna play music obviously... the selections for music fest is coming up and I am in charge for selecting... so butter me... hahaha... he finished with an evil laugh... listening this manik and nandu chuckled slightly...

Manik: chale dreamy... (let's go dreamy) he said while nandu nodded... he took her hand and started walking towards the Audi...

In the Audi...

People were pushing and pulling each other... some were chatting where as some were looking at ranveer and fangirling... (i literally can imagine myself there😊😊😊😍😍😍)

They both went near FAB4 only to find an irritated Cabir holding hands with navya who was smiling ear to ear... nandu shot her a look as if saying you have things to explain while manik grinned at Cabir who in return glared him...

Manik: cabirrrr... where is your girl friend roseee... oh my god why are you holding hands with navya... he said dramatically gasping... nandu giggled a little seeing THE VERY RARE sight... only Manik was capable of making fun of Cabir...

Cabir was about to retort when a screeching sound came from the speakers... they all turned to see their one and only handsome ranveer...

Ranveer: well, well sab log baaton me pad gaye (Well, well everyone is immersed in talking)... don't forget this is a competition... koi fish market nahi hai... ( it's not some fish market...) ok let's come to business... first I get to choose who will sing and with whom... no questions... I want to test you guys... if you are really capable or not... he said and everyone burst into whispers...

Ranveer: silence!!! He said and everyone was silent... because they know how serious ranveer becomes when he talks about music...

Ranveer: that's better... so let's start... hmmm... he started calling some names and asked them to perform... they did well despite the little time they were given... ranveer knew what he was doing... as he carefully analysed everyone trying to pair them up and make good music...

Ranveer: ok guys that's it... next... hmm manik malhotra and his little lover nandini murthy... please come on the stage... he said while everyone frowned except FAB5 and navni... why? Because it was an unspoken rule for them that manik malhotra only sings with FAB5... while manik stretched his hand towards nandu like a perfect gentle man... she too accepted his hand with a giggle... they walked up the stage... ranveer raised his brow and smirked...

Ranveer: well let's see if you both are compatible enough... start... he said while manik looked at nandu who nodded and went near the keyboards
While manik took his guitar...

It was so beautiful that people looked at them without blinking their eyes... Manik and nandu were just smiling at each other... throughout the song the person who was most shocked was navya... she was taken aback by Nandu's smile... there was one more person looking at all this... we cannot see what that person is thinking with a blank face... soon ranveer was the first to come out of his daze...

Ranveer: well that was a fine performance... he said and was about to speak more when he was cut...

Voice: Kya (What) fine performance... that was fantabulous... amazingly awesome... buddhu (idiot)... she said hitting his head... well this was naina... ranveer's wife... ranveer looked at her with wide eyes as if saying what the hell is she doing here...

Ranveer: shona why are you here... he said while she narrowed her eyes at him...

Naina: I shouldn't be here or what... she said while ranveer shook his head violently trying to indicate no...

Ranveer: sholly... he said while she gave him a wide smile...

Naina: accha teek hai... she said hugging him tightly... Manik coughed a little trying to indicate that they too were present... ranveer and naina blushed and separated from each other... nandu shot manik a look as he disturbed such a cute scene... while manik smiled sheepishly...

Ranveer: ok manik and nandini you can go... and you are absolutely in for the fest... now next... shona want to watch... he asked while naina nodded in an yes while manik and nandini went back near FAB5...

Cabir: wah re wah... no bad... he said while manik smirked...

Manik: of course... he said proudly... everyone was still looking at them as manik malhotra sang with someone who is not a member of FAB5... it means she is a lot important to him... they made a mental note to not offend her...

Nandu went near navya and started talking with her... seeing her away from manik, aliya came near manik...

Aliya: hey manik... umm... mind sparing a minute... she said while manik sighed and turned towards her...

Manik: yes aliya what is it... he said as no matter what she was his friend...

Aliya: manik, baby I know you didn't do anything to bhai and it was a misunderstanding... she said while manik tried not to roll his eyes...

Manik: no matter what you say aliya I really didn't do anything... if I really did something then I will accept it without any hesitation... he said while aliya was in a deep thought...

Aliya pov... who is it that wants to harm bhai... Manik wouldn't do it as he said... at least I understood him that much but recently things are really going out of my hands... argh... it was so peaceful when manik was in my control... I cannot believe it some behenji was capable of stealing my manik from me... now what will I say to Rahul... she thought angrily... if nandini listened to her words then imagine what would have happened to her...

Seeing her thinking manik turned around to search for nandu... he found her standing alone... he frowned and thought where navya was... he was about to move towards her when someone came and back hugged nandu and whispered something to her... nandu didn't show any expression but he felt she was happy as he saw her eyes sparkled... nandu turned around to hug him... this was all observed by aliya also...

Aliya: oh my god... why is nandini so close with him... she is your girl friend na manik... how can she... oh god... she was going on rambling about her while manik didn't pay an ounce of attention to her... he wanted to go and ask nandu but aliya was sticking to him like a glue... when he finally got out of her hold nandu was not there...

Manik: nandu... he muttered and started searching for her... he couldn't find her... he was becoming restless... he started shouting her name in hopes to find her... but no avail... Cabir and FAB3 came near him...

Cabir: manik what happened... he asked trying to calm down manik which was not successful...

Manik: nandu... my dreamy she's missing... what should I do... I tried calling her but it is says busy... he said running his fingers through his hair...

Cabir: manik common... she is not a small girl... don't worry she must have gone home... he said while manik hit his head slightly...

Manik: yeah how can I forget... I am going home guys... he said and went away thinking I forgot to search at such an important place... meanwhile FAB4 looked at the running manik and sighed shaking their heads...
