Over and Over and Over again.

It's been a while, hasn't it?

Good news, my dad flew off to another country again. My period also just kicked in after being very late. But my motivation to write also kicked in so we can't complain. It's also Sunday 11:40ish pm but like coffee will help me survive tmr and school

Rip the Queen too

___________

When Katsuki woke up, he had mixed feelings. One part of him insisted that it was going to be a great day, while the other part was screaming that it was gonna go down to shit.

Katsuki chose to ignore the part of him that was screaming.

It was a Saturday, actually. 'Date Night Sat-Day', Kariage called it, because every second week, on a Saturday they went on a date. All due to the fact they first went out on date on a Saturday, and also because they couldn't let the romance die. Nobody wants their romance to die.

Sometimes it was Kariage dragging Katsuki out on those days, and on others it would be Katsuki dragging Kariage. Mostly Kariage doing the dragging though, but either way the two balanced each other out nicely.

They were like a pair of socks; they just needed the other one to fit.

Unless you were one of the.. odd people who still wore mismatched socks. But, hey, Katsuki wasn't going to judge you; he used to wear mismatched socks too.

..When he was three.

Shaking his head free of all his unnecessary thoughts, Katsuki clambered out of bed. He had to gently move Kariage's leg off himself (read; threw against the wall), and also had to ignore what seemed to be a bird screeching in pain.

Maybe today was going to be a good day, Katsuki smiled to himself.

Of course, being the only one in their relationship with the ability to safely cook, because no Kariage, serving someone burnt tea and toast that's literally on fire is not okay. So Katsuki began to make food for the two, like the good little manwifey he was—

Who was making him think these things? Manwifey?? Was there a fourth wall..? Perhaps he should make it his goal to break the fourth wall, wherever it may be.

"I love the morning where you make food for me, Kat." A lovey-dovey sigh came from behind Katsuki.

Rolling his eyes, Katsuki hid his grin, "I always do this."

"I know." Kariage sighed again, "That's why I love every morning."

"You're such a romantic failure. Set up the plates." That wasn't exactly an order, nor was it a question. It was only a few seconds before they fell into their natural morning routine.

When Katsuki finished cooking, he sat down with a soft smile. He would take this secret to the grave, but he loved mornings like this too. Hopefully, the people behind the fourth wall wouldn't go around telling other people this though.

Hn. Katsuki was getting really paranoid. Icy-Hot must be rubbing off on him.

"You're so cute when you're lost in thought." That stupid voice snapped Katsuki out of himself.

"Yeah, shithead? I bet I'll look cute when I'm murdering you." He scowled back, huffing while turning his head to the side, just slightly.

The only response Katsuki got back was a whine and a pout. They sat in a comfortable and nice silence for a while, before Kariage got up abruptly.

"I must go plan out our date, my love. Excuse me, as I shall exit the room to Google romantic places." Kariage winked smugly, like the bastard he is.

"Yeah, yeah. This time though, don't pick a fucking illegal place because I do not need to be arrested again." Katsuki warned with a flick of his beautiful middle finger and another beautiful glare.

"You're hot when you threaten me."

"This b—" Katsuki flushed, "GO PLAN THE FUCKING DATE YOU MORON!" Kariage winked back before slinking away, like the damn fox he is.

All Katsuki did for the rest of the morning, and afternoon, was do homework. U.A really loved giving them stupid homework; Jerry and his sidekick can either save the young child in the fire, or the elderly lady who's drowning. Jerry can only save one; who does he save?

Jerry has an ice quirk.

It's obvious, save the elderly person and have the sidekick save the kid. The ice would just melt in the fire, which would turn into water and then boil. That would make everything far worse than it could be. Jerry could just turn the water into ice for the lady, and then just run across and pluck her out.

Maybe he was finding some loophole in the system. But whatever.

Just as Katsuki managed to scribble down his answer, Kariage burst in. "I'm ready, so you go get ready!" He grinned. Katsuki looked him up and down, Kariage was wearing a suit. Which meant they were going somewhere fancy.

"Stupid.. idiot." Katsuki rolled his eyes, getting up and about to get ready for their little date. He'd also wear a suit then. "I'm going."

It only took Katsuki a few minutes to get ready, unlike a certain someone - cough Kariage cough.

The second Katsuki stepped out of their room, Kariage whisked him aside and dragged him outside. There was a car; some Uber, Katsuki assumed. A motorcycle wasn't really fit for suits.

"Get in, loverboy." Katsuki snorted, opening a door for Kariage.

Kariage pouted before getting in, "Hey! That's my line.."

Their Uber was relatively quiet for some reason. He was a buff dude for sure. Maybe the strong silent type?

"I'm sorry." Were the two words that escaped from their Uber's mouth suddenly.

Why on earth would he be sorry, Katsuki frowned. He chewed on the inside of his mouth for a second before opening it to ask.

Then, just before a single word could come out, a crash interrupted.

Katsuki could barely process anything as ringing echoed through his ears. He could feel something warm tricking down his face and side. And also his leg.. but he felt so sore just everywhere.

But how was Kariage? Katsuki dreaded even looking, but forced himself to. The sight that greeted him was a painful one.

Kariage's head was limp, and so bloody, it was hard to tell it was even him. Katsuki felt bile rising up in his throat-

__

Katsuki sat up with a trembling gasp. It took him a while, but he calmed down. Taking another deep breath, Katsuki assessed his surroundings.

Was he in a hospital? No, it would be more.. more white and smell more clean.

It was Kariage's bedroom. Technically, their bedroom but..

Why was he here? Wasn't there a crash and Kariage was dead—

Katsuki immediately turned to his right, only to see a sleeping, peaceful and uninjured Kariage resting by his side. A wave of relief washed through Katsuki; it was just a stupid fucking dream. The sick bile he still felt was just some aftereffect from the dream, right?

Yeah, there wasn't really another logical explanation. Maybe that stupid fourth wall might know but it's not like he could ask— fuck, that dream really got to him. The 'fourth wall' was from the dream; it's not real.

Katsuki scoffed. This was so dumb. How could a shitty nightmare turn him so upside down?

It's fine. It's fine. It's. Fine.

Taking yet another deep breath, Katsuki moved Kariage's leg off him [again?] and shakily walked towards the kitchen. It would be fine.

He left his phone on the counter.

Katsuki scrambled across the room to snatch it up and turned it on, rather aggressively.

Saturday

He didn't even pay attention to the date; just the day. Was this — Did this mean they were going on a date? Katsuki almost threw his phone across the room.

Maybe that part of him that had been screaming it would be a bad day was right after all. Being positive clearly didn't do shit.

But that was in his dream, wasn't it?

This was so stupid, Katsuki scowled, as he stomped over towards his homework. It had been left on a table—

There it was. The Jerry problem. With the exact same wording.

Would today be the same as the dream?

Katsuki grimaced. Maybe he could persuade Kariage to 'Netflix and Chill', If he said please and used puppy eyes.. it should work.

Making up his mind, Katsuki stomped back over to their room. His fingers were not shaking.

"Kari. Wake the fuck up." He patted the others face.

"Hn? Yeah?

"Can we stay in tonight?" Katsuki sheepishly looked to the side.

A soft smile burst through Kariage's sleep-stricken face, "Sure, Kitty, just come sleep. You look like crap." Concern stained that last sentence. But to be honest, Katsuki really needed the comfort of having someone care and comfort him.

Taking up his offer, Katsuki crawled back into bed, cuddling onto Kariage.

The next thing he knew was being awoken to the sound of a window breaking, and a gunshot.

But all he remembered visually was seeing a hole in Kariage's forehead, seaping a bright bold red.

_

Yet again, Katsuki awoke with shaken breaths. Surely everything was fine and it was Sunday and he was in the hospital maybe.. but no. This was their bedroom.

This couldn't be happening. Maybe it was some sick joke. It couldn't be real.

But he knew it was a Saturday, just like he knew Kariage's leg would be flung over Katsuki.

As he lay in bed, Katsuki began to formulate a plan. Maybe they could just go for a walk by that lake, the same lake they went to as middle schoolers, instead. They've done that plenty of times before, right? And it was always nice and peaceful.

Taking a short breath this time, Katsuki wrenched himself out of bed.

He could do this; he could save Kariage. Nobody could stop the great Bakugou Katsuki.

But as time flew by, the next thing Katsuki saw was Kariage gaping for breath stuck in the water. All while Katsuki was too stunned to move, speak and breath even.

_

It was now loop.. loop 20? 21? Katsuki lost track. He didn't even want to know how many loops it had been. After 6 loops, he realised it was in fact a timeloop. But..

All he knew was that every time, Kariage died.

Kariage, after maybe 10 loops, started noticing Katsuki acting off. Wether it was the loss of that spark in his eye, or the dullness to his tone, he noticed small little things.

Katsuki already knew he was losing himself.

Was this some punishment for bullying Deku? That didn't seem fair; Deku was just being a creep so Katsuki reacted like how he was taught to. Fighting back.

But life isn't fair.

But Katsuki didn't care. He just wanted to stop seeing Kariage dying in so many different ways. He would do anything to stop this agony.

Then, a little idea popped into his head. Sitting up, and brushing Kariage's leg off himself, Katsuki took a normal yet shallow breath. Maybe this would stop it.

Raising his arms to the sides of his head, just above his ears, Katsuki used his quirk.

Then, the void reached for him. Grasping and cradling him in its cold, but comforting arms. Whispering to him; it's stopped now, the loop has stopped.

Vaguely, Katsuki could hear a voice screaming for him to wake up but he didn't care anymore.

The pain stopped. The cycle stopped.

His heart stopped.
