Katsuki hated the cold. That was a fact. It was also a fact Kariage couldn't seem to grasp onto.

It's like teaching a goldfish math. Katsuki actually tried that once, to his now-dead goldfish, Jeremy. Rest in Ripperoni, Jeremy. I guess McDonalds crumbs really aren't good for fish, Katsuki mused to himself.

Alas, Kariage was the goldfish.

Not dead, obviously.

So here Katsuki was, glaring at a sad little Kariage. Because that little Kariage wanted to go ice skate on the lake just outside. He persuaded Katsuki to come out to the middle of nowhere in the snow for the winter holidays.

They were in a nice little cabin, right next to a silvery frozen lake. There was also one tree, Katsuki noticed, that was on the top of a small, small hill that looked perfect for sitting under.

The annoying part was the actual cold. It was stinging Katsuki's fingertips, nose, eyes, ears and torso. God, he hated the cold. But seeing that big smile of victory and joy on Kariage's face?

Yeah, that it worth it.

But he was perfectly fine sitting here, by the window catching up on homework and school. Very fine. It was a bit hard to focus, with the freezing cold biting at him, but he'd power through. Because that's what Bakugou's do; They always power through.

Nope. Katsuki hated that line his mother told him. Especially because it rhymed.

Kariage, however, seemed to love the cold, the snow and the lake.

Katsuki had no idea how they fell in love.

Of course, Kariage then had to burst into the room and break Katsuki's train of thought. Of course he did. Honestly, that was just something that happened on the regular, because Kariage literally couldn't open a door normally for his life.

"Katsu, my love, my precious, my little Kitty Kat.." He began. Katsuki could smell the mischief in him. "I want to go ice skating on the lake! With you." Kariage finished his sentence with an added little hand jazz gesture.

"No."

"But, K—"

"No."

"But—"

"No."

"Kat—"

"Nope."

"Suki."

"No."

"Pleas—"

"No—" Katsuki paused to glare at Kariage before spotting his pouty lip and puppy eyes. Damn it. "I— Fucking fine." He scowled, praying that he wouldn't suffer too much.

"Yay!" He cheered, like a little kid. Idiot.

"Let's just change and go, you little shitbag." Katsuki huffed, dragging himself to the closet to grab warm clothes.

Katsuki eventually chose to wear one of those furry coats, and some jacket under, with a shirt under that. And some pants, which he didn't really think about.

Kariage, however, chose to be dramatic. He wore literally just one shirt and a normal jacket, with jeans. Katsuki questioned if he was human..

When they went outside.. it was interesting. If he was being honest, it actually looked beautiful. It was like being inside a painting, with all the soft dull greens, silvers and blues. It made Katsuki feel... god, he sounded so stereotypical, but he felt all warm inside.

Feelings are.. feelings suck. Katsuki decided.

"Come on, Kat, we need to skate!" Kariage called from the edge of the lake.

He grimaced, "You know I have absolutely zero experience with skating? Let alone stupid ice skating?"

"Yep."

Katsuki groaned, before trudging across the snow to Kariage. "I can't believe this idiot is making me do this.." He muttered.

Plopping down on the snow was not a good idea, it seems. Because asses can and will get cold.

"Put on the skates, will you?" Kariage teased. This bitc—

"I told you," Katsuki crossed his arms, "I.. have no experience with this shit." He looked away for one second, before glaring daggers at Kariage. He wasn't embarrassed, or anything.

Totally.

"Ok, ok." Kariage smiled back, unaffected by the daggers. How'd he read him so well? "Let me do it."

"Mhm.."

He proceeded to expertly put the skates on Katsuki, which made Katsuki gap a little. But only on the inside. He'd rather die than show it—

"Let's go now!" Kariage grasped Katsuki's hand before running onto the lake. Katsuki had to cling onto him to avoid falling.

"Idiot! I could've fallen, y'know!" He snapped, holding onto Kariage, like he's his life support.

"That's what we need to fix, then." He grinned.

Katsuki frowned as he realised what that meant. He was going to learn how to ice skate properly during the winter holidays, wasn't he? Whether he liked it or not.

Katsuki groaned, "This is going to be such a long day. And week."

"Damn right it is!" Kariage cheered him. Like the idiot he was.

They lived happily ever after, when they met Elsa because she made them a big ass ice castle with ice skaters and ice and stuff.
