"Come on you two." I say following Phoenix and Jupiter around the house.

"But mom it's Halloween!" I sigh. They want to to got out but I'm going to be helping Nightmare out tonight and Comet is staying home and not socializing just playing games and Midnight is going out.

"I already told you both I won't be able to take you out I promised your dad I would help him out this year." Phoenix and Jupiter gave me a disappointed face. They opened their mouths to protest before they spoke I cut them off. "Go ask your sister she's going to be home all night she might be able to." Their faces lit up.

Jupiter ran off first as Phoenix followed. "Hurry Phoenix!"

"Ok! Ok!"

It was silent...."What are you guys doing! Hey!"

"Jupiter! Phoenix! I didn't say to hurt your sister!" I walked to Comet's room they were hugging her trying to convince her.

"What do you want!"

"Can you please take is out to go trick or treating! Please!" Wailed Jupiter.

"Oh my Lord! That's it? First get off me please." I watched from the door as everything unfolds. As a mom I know I'm responsible for my children but things like this is where they learn from each other especially since Comet is a teenager. I hummed to myself as I listened. "If that's you wanted to ask me then you should've just asked me instead of tackling me okay? Know what do you say?"

They both looked down. "Sorry." They say in unison.

She nodded. "Good well... I really really don't want to cause I got a whole lot of farming to do the event in my game ends today and I really want to get the skins this year's so sorry. Why don't you ask Uncle Dream or Uncle Cross to take you out?" She stated looking down at them.

"Because I didn't say anything." I say barging in.

"Ah uh mom!" She said jumping slightly.

"You two really want to go out this year huh?" I say leaning against the door frame. They nodded frantically. I sighed. "I swear you kids.... Let me phone your uncles. If they say yes I'll make an acception." Their faces lit up. They started to cheer. "Come on then don't bother your sister." I say signaling them to follow me. They ran out the room cheering. I looked over at Comet. "And you...." She looked over at me. "Start farming the event's almost over." I smile and walk away.

Normally I never really went out for Halloween since I found it to be whack. I'm mean I wouldn't mind going out but I prefer to be home. Anywho today I'm just going be giving candy to the really young and old. The teens....good luck.

I took out my phone as I called the two skeletons. "Hello!" It was Lux.

"Oh hi Lux! Um I wanted to know if by any chance your parents are home?"

"Oh yes of course they are. Um do you need something?"

I started to smile. "Yes actually I wanted to know if you are able to take Phoenix and Jupiter out tonight. They are really looking forward to it. And I'm home tonight helping Nightmare with uh...ya know how he gets on Halloween. He's not even here he's outside doing his things. Anyways, um would you be able to?"

There was silence for a moment. "Yes! Yes of course I love to! I'll go pick then up myself don't worry Aunt Y/N you have nothing to fear as long as there with me!" She said cheerfully.

I sighed in relief. "Thank Lux call me when you've arrived."

"Yes yes of course!"

"Again thank you again Lux bye."

"Bye Aunt Y/N."

The call went cold. I hung up and put my phone away. I sigh.

I walk out the door. The scene was dark with red lights going around the trees in the front yard. Fog machine was doing well ya know fogging everything up. But there was a chair in front of the door with a few mirrors. I hummed to myself. Is he not trying this year?

"Hi." I jumped. I didn't screamed but I jumped.

"Nightmare!" He laughed. "Don't scare me like that." He hummed and gave me a sweet tight hug from behind.

"Well you weren't really scared babe. Not the type for me to feed off you." He said with a smile laughter and gave me a kiss on the cheek.

"Hmph. Still doing the same thing as always I see."

"Why of course, I still need to gather my energy especially with everything happening. Besides I need a good laugh from all those teenagers that think they are all tough. It'll be fun pulling the strings." He said still keeping his grip around me.

"Then why are you going so simple? Don't you want to scare the whole neighborhood?"

"Amazing things come in small packages." I groan. What is that suppose to possibly mean?! He hugs me tighter. "But you still got to help me those small children that come every year. Now come." He leaned over to my left and gave another kiss. "Love you."

"Mommy! Daddy!" Jupiter. We both looked back. Nightmare still hugging me. We hummed in unison. "Look look look!" At the door way we saw two small bodies. A princess and a Knight.

"Awww." I hummed.

"Look at my little princess. You two look adorable! My princess and knight."

"Lux will be coming soon." I say with a smile.

"Lux?! What do you mean." He finally let me go.

"She's going to take out the kids trick or treating tonight. Since I'm helping you." He hummed.

"I mean you should've told me though I trust her I still needed to know."

"I me-"

"Unclemare! Aunt Y/N!" Nightmare walked towards her. I looked at the kids.

"Go get your buckets." As they walk off I head to Nightmare and Lux.

"I trust you yes but look. I have no idea if Dream or Cross has told you but with everything going on and there's a lot of people out tonight alone or in a group doesn't matter most likely they'll be taking the opportunity of doing some gathering tonight. So I'm asking please take care of them, their souls are very strong. If they get a hold of them...i don't even want to imagine it. I love them with all I have please Lux ask Dream to put some type of I don't know spell? Protection? I don't want them to be targeted. If they go get candy they'll be able to handle it. They are kids but don't fear much. If you see any suspicious activity inform me immediately. So I'm asking again please make sure that they are safe."

Lux was a little concerned. She nodded. "Yes of course. I'll ask my mom. Trust me they're going to be safe." Nightmare looks at her in the eyes.

"Thank you."

"Trick or treat!" The sound was behind me. It was the small twins. "We're ready!" They say. Lux smiled softly.

"You two be careful." He said with a small wave.

"Don't worry Dad I'll protect her!" Phoenix wailed out.

"Come on you two." Lux said gently. They ran off to her side and held hands.

"Bye Mommy bye daddy!" They say.

"Bye! I'll see you later tonight!"

"Love you short stacks!"

They were off.

I look over at Nightmare. "Well I'm going to get my bowl and take a seat." I start to walk off before he grabs my hand.

"If you hear screaming...just know I'm enjoying it." He let's go and smiles. I laughed slightly. This dude I swear.

People we're starting to appear. I turned around with a two bowls of candy. "Here." I say passing him his. He nods a thank you.

I go to the front of the lawn and fold out my chair. I sit down and take a breath. The families were already walking out. I ended up spacing out a little when a family was heading towards me. The small kids ran up to me. "Trick or Treat!" I gave a smile.

"Happy Halloween." I say grabbing two candies and pouring it in to each of the kids bag. After a few minutes passed I saw a group of teenagers.

Oh Lord.

They approched me. "Trick or treat." I kept the bowl to myself.

"Sorry but the candies for you tough kids..." I pointed at my door covered in red lights and fog. It was hardly visible. "Are over there." The group of teenagers looked at each other. They laughed amongest each other. "My husband will make sure you get your fair share." They all looked at each other a bit confused. They all hesitated then walked their way to the door.

I looked at them as they disappeared into the fog. It was silent.

Very silent.

"Trick or treat!" Oh! I was so caught up in the moment that I didn't notice there was kids here. I gave them two and told them happy Halloween.

So adorable.

Then another group came by. "Te-"

The loudest screams like bloody murder rang into my ears. The teens there ran out. They were running away. "Don't go in there!" One of them screamed. The other group seemed confused by what just happened.

"Well what are you waiting for?" I say with a smile. They all looked at each. Their pride is something they're not willing to lose. They slowly made their way over there.

I yawned.

I'm already tired.

I was folding my chair as the fog was clearing up.

The door way was cleaning the lights were off too. I carried my chair away with the bowl and set it near the lawn. I opened the door and headed to the kitchen to set the bowl done on the table.

"So what you do to those kids?" Nightmare was sitting on the couch.

"Having fun my love. And trust me it was fun." He said with a small smile.

"Mooooom!" The door burst open. They're home.

"Hi!" I say happily.

"Look at all the candy." They say dropping everything in the living room.

"Hi Aunt Y/N and unclemare."

Nightmare gets up and walks to her. I do as well.

"Thank you Lux for taking them out tonight." I say softly.

"Oh no of course I would do anything for my cousins."

"Hey Lux, did you get any news of anything. Error contacted me North West from here there was a sighting and that two small children have gone missing tonight."

She shook her head softly. "I'm sorry."

He sighed softly. "Its alright." Every one was home. But people have still gone missing. I groaned. "For now help your parents look around I'll do the same later tonight see what I can find." She nodded. After a small conversation she said her good byes. Nightmare and I were left together with the children. I yawned. "Go to sleep I'll watch these two."

I nodded yeah I was pretty tired. "Love you." I say walking to my room. I glanced in as I saw a shadow. A big gooey shadow hovering over the bed. I squint my eyes. It's gone.

I shrugged it off I'm just tired and want to sleep.

Boom boom boom it's done. Hope this was decent.
