Chapter 57- Capture

"YOU WHAT!" Nightmare marched over to Luna grabbing her neck fur. "WHERE THE FUCK IS SHE!" Nightmare slightly tip toed. The doors roared as they shut. Nightshades in the room, the tech room, continued their work besides Nightmare yelling. Nightmare is in here checking on the installation of the growing technology.

Luna stayed silent.

"YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO PROTECT HER!" Luna kept her composure. Don't move. Don't flinch. Nightmare let her go. "I WANT YOU OUT OF MY FUCKING SIGHT!" Luna bowed and walked away, out the door. Nightmare looked back at the Nightshades. "You!" He said pointing at a Nightshade nearby. It looked over to him, stopped what he was doing and walked over. "Come with me." He said hostile, some parts of his body turning black, gooey. The Nightshade followed as they walked out. The door behind them closed. Nightmare continued as they followed. Stopping in the middle of a hallway. Let it out. Let it all out.

Nightmare swiftly turned around. His left hand in a fist. As he completely turned to face the creature. His fist landed on his face. As a tentacle burst aggressively out of his back. It sprouted up high as it coiled up and drilled into it's chest. The tentacle's tip separating into hooks. As Nightmare pulled the heart out the creature gaged slightly. As if holding on to the last piece of humanity it had left.

The tentacle spazzed out as it made its way down to level with Nightmare. Nightmare was breathing heavily. He stared at the creature, seeing how weak it was. "God damn it!" He hissed. The tentacle lashed upward and then down. Throwing the heart on the floor. It exploded into pieces, the soul and spirit fading away. The goo being the only thing left behind. I cannot let Y/N find out about this. Nightmare covered his face with his hands. Nightmare you need to calm down. He groaned. Take charge of the situation at hand.

Nightmare took a deep breath. "Alright."

His tentacle fled to his back, as the other areas that had started to go black did as well. He looked down at the puddle, then back to the shards. "You probably over exaggerated Nightmare." He told himself. Then Nightmare jumped. I don't have time for this! Nightmare reminded himself before teleporting back to the tech room, hoping it was done so they can start tracking her down.

Meanwhile, Jupiter.

She was sitting in a dark room. The door was a strong metal gate, somewhat like a prison cell. In the room there was a mattress at the corner, with a pile of boxes across from it. The boxes were empty. Jupiter sat down on the mattress shivering from the cold. She was a little scared, more nervous than anything. "Don't worry Luna's gonna find you." She hugged her knees trying to keep warm.

"She's worth more than meets the eye." It was a male voice. Jupiter noticed and crawled to the corner of the mattress. "She's half monster and human, there are thousands of people that are willing to pay any price for her." She noticed two shadows approaching the door.

"She looks human to me." The other guy shrugged.

"Tell that to the boss, he was sure it's her, and apparently she's got siblings too." He said placing a sign on the door.

"What's that for?"

"The open house tomorrow." The other guy laughed.

"We still do that? That's stupid."

"Apparently many people want to see this gal." The other guy nodded. "Like I said people will pay anything for her." They both peered in. "You awake?"

Jupiter stayed quiet. "I barely see her." he paused. "She's probably crying."

Jupiter heard someone yelling, they both looked over that direction. One of them scoffed as they walked off. The other guy followed.

Jupiter looked around, there was no light, nowhere to hide. I'm stuck. Jupiter whimpered. She let her body fall on the mattress. Be patient. She hugged her knees. They haven't forgotten you.

I hope.

The room was set up and everything. He kissed his teeth, he needs someone that is knowledgeable about this. He knows exactly who.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!" Laughter was heard. "Why are we playing this!" Leo roared between the corridors. Comet must be playing in the new 'gaming room' how she likes to call it. The laughter got louder. Nightmare flinched lightly, the laughter stinging his rage. He opened the door with Leo weeping on the floor. "I hate this game."

Nightmare stared down at him. "Get up." he said sternly. He glared at Comet.

Leo scrambled up. He bowed frantically. Comet smiled. "What's up with you?"

Nightmare ignored the question, he continued to pass him, "I need a personal search party." Leo gave a confuse look. He lightly shook his head, forgetting it. He teleported away. "Comet come with me." She followed him out the room.

"What's up with you?" she asked again. Nightmare stayed silent. Comet scoffed.

"I need your help, it's about your sister." Comet walked a little up ahead and looked at him while she walked backwards. "I'll tell you when we get there." She rolled her eyes.

"Okie." she said turning around. Nightmare boomed through the door. He glared down at her. He explained it quickly. Comet was shaking after the explanation. "What!" Comet clenched her hands. "Does mom know?" Nightmare shook his head

"She doesn't need to know."

"'ShE DoEsN't NeEd To KnOw', she's the mother Dad!" Nightmare turned around and faced her.

"Don't mock me."

"Well don't be an asshole!" She said growing closer to him. "Mom needs to know." she stated calming her tone.

"Your mother is frail at the moment, I do not want to stress her out." She sighed. "Look I need your help, and you will help me right?"

"I don't have another choice, besides it would be wrong if I don't." She hugged her arms and looked at the computers. "What do you want me to do?"

Nightmare stood tall and glared down at her. "You're skilled at hacking right?"

"One of my many hobbies."

"Think you can get into the some cameras around the city?" Comet shrugged.

"Probably." She walked over to the computers. Some Nightshades we're working getting some of the systems running. As Comet came over she scoffed, "This ain't gonna work." she turned around. "I'll need my computer." She passed Nightmare, "Give me a sec." She walked out and headed to her room. She met up with Midnight along the way. She must've just gotten back from practice. Midnight looked at her, noticing the panic she was holding. After Comet grabbed her computer, she bolted out of the room. Midnight greeted her only to be met by silence. Midnight looked back at Comet as she passed her. Midnight followed, curious. Comet preserved into the room. She marched over to the room, bursting the doors wide open. Midnight asked her what was wrong with little response. As Comet made her way to the computers, setting hers down next to them. Midnight looked over to Nightmare, who was already making his way to her. "What's happening?"

"Your sister is missing." he said bluntly. Midnight perked up.

"What." She looked into his eyes. "And Luna?" Her voice rose a little. Nightmare stayed silent. "Does mom know?" Nightmare shook his head. Midnight gave a defeated expression. "We need to contact the police." She said approaching the door.

"No."

Midnight looked back at him. "What?"

Nightmare turned to met her gaze. "They will not be informed." Midnight gave a confused expression. "No one will be informed."

She opened her mouth to protest, she quickly closed it before she started an argument. "What can I do to help?" she said in defeat.

"Stay silent."

Midnight kissed her teeth. "What. Can. I. Do. To. Help."

"Like I said, stay silent. No one is to know, Mars is keeping your brother distracted. If he were to ask about your sister, distract him."

Midnight sighed. "What about our family? Do they know?"

"Oh, them. They don't. I don't want their help."

"Aren't you like best friends with Error?"

"I wouldn't call it best friends."

"Then, I'll ask Ink or Dream to help look for her." her voice settled down.

"Nope. Don't ask those pacifist freaks." Pacifist freaks? "They would only let them go."

"Let them go? What will you do?"

Nightmare smiled soft. "You don't want to know." He walked away leaving Midnight alone in her thoughts. Midnight gave a distasteful look, mad at the situation. She knew she couldn't argue with him. Leaving it as it was and walked out the room.

"Luna!" The high pitched voice screamed. "Luna!" she yelled once more. She slowly put her hands down from her mouth. She sighed. Did she forget about me? She looked down in defeat. Tears slowly forming in the corners of her eyes.

"Hey." Jupiter's tears flowed slowly down her face. She sniffled. Jupiter looked at the iron cell door. "You might want to stop crying." a voice whispered from across the cell. Jupiter slowly approached the door. She sniffled again and wiped her face on her sleeves.

"I'm sorry." she whispered back.

A figure appeared. It was a girl she looked about the same age as Midnight. Tall, slim, pretty. "The guys here like to pick on the young girls, especially the ones who cry." Jupiter knelt down. The girl becoming visible. She had fair skin, her blue eyes radiating from the darkness, her hair brown and curly at the tips. The girl smiled. "I wouldn't want them to take away a girl like you." Jupiter stayed silent. She looked away. "I didn't mean to upset you. I wanted to stall for time."

Jupiter looked back at her. "Who are you?" she said.

"A nobody." she hummed playing with her fingers. "And who are you?" looking at Jupiter.

Jupiter froze. "Um..." She smiled nervously, "A nobody." The girl smiled. Jupiter laughed a little. "Um..." she stuttered. "Do you know what we're doing here?"

The girl frowned. "I'd rather not tell you. But it's better if you know who you're messing with." She tried peering out the cell a little trying to see if anyone was coming. "We're caught up in deep dilema." She paused for a moment. "These people are caught up in bad crap. Selling drugs, people, objects. They just do bad crap." She leaned her head on the wall. "They call themselves, The Red Sleeves Company."

Jupiter frowned. "How long have you been here?"

The girl shrugged. "I have no idea."

"Hopefully you get out soon." The girl laughed.

"I'm old, yeah I may be only 26, but now things have changed. I'm fearing for you."

"I hope someone finds us, I hope my dad finds us." The girl sighed.

"Don't get your hopes up dear. We're outside the city, it would be a miracle if we're found."

Jupiter face expressions softened. "Yeah."

Luna paced back and forth in the garden. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Fuck. Luna growled under her teeth. I need to convince him. She placed her hands on her face, streaming them down her cheeks. He kicked you out earlier, he'll do it again. He'll notice that you didn't obey. He'll notice your feelings. She groaned. Only one time. Only one try. She sighed, calming herself down. When have you ever been your own person? Her voice ringing in her head.

Luna straightened up. Knowing the answer to that question. She melted into a puddle of goo before teleporting in front of the tech room. She breathed softly. She opened the doors. Peering in she sees Nightmare hovering over Comet. She went in and slowly closed the door. She opened her mouth to speak only to be interrupted. "Didn't I tell you to get out of my sight?" He said not facing her.

"Yes." She stated approaching him. He straightened up and glared back at her. "I want to help you look for Jupiter. She's my responsibility." Nightmare scoffed.

"It's a little to late don't you think?" He turned around and approached her. She stood tall. "You failed." Nightmare looked up at her. "You deserved to be the Nightcrawler that you first emerged. Cleaning up after everyone, like the weakling that you are." She didn't flinch. She didn't move. "From here on out you're no longer needed." He smiled. "So leave."

He turned around, keeping that smug smile. "No." Nightmare stopped walking, he looked back. "I'm the one who lost her, I want to be the one to find her. I crave redemption." Nightmare scoffed. "Please, allow me to get help with search parties, anything."

"That won't be necessary, Leo already sent one into the city." Luna gulped.

"May I do individual investigating?" Nightmare didn't say anything before walking away. After he turned around, Luna perked up. The silent treatment was better than a no. She was over joyed. I'm coming, Jovian.
