"What is it?" Y/N asked turning around to see Cisco busily typing away at his computer.

"Some guy is attacking near that new museum downtown, reports of radiation poisoning and sickness," Cisco explained, he seemed rather confused by the situation, as were the rest of the team.

Harry shot Barry and Y/N a skeptical glance, "I suggest extreme caution," he said.

Barry nodded and turned to Y/N, "Let's go figure this thing out," he said speeding away, Y/N following his lead.

Y/N observed the people around her, "These people are all suffering from radiation sickness," she said still looking around and helping a few others get to safety.

"The Geiger counters in your guy's suits are going off the charts right now," Harry replied over the comms, "Wouldn't suggest sticking around long," he added.

"No," Barry said. "We have to get these people out of here, and then we can find out what's causing this," he explained.

"I agree," Y/N replied.

Within seconds the two speedsters had everyone clear, then they saw a man, presumably late 20's standing in the middle of all the destruction, his body emitting a green color. "I think that we found the source," Barry said noticing the man.

"Please," he cried. "Help me," he pleaded, his hand reaching out, it sent a blast towards Barry which he easily dodged.

"Okay, he is definitely not in control of his powers," Y/N said frantically searching for a solution.

But a sudden gunfire sounded from behind them, Barry and Y/N both turned and managed to grab all the bullets before they reached their intended target.

"What the hell?" Barry panted, he spun around only to see that their metahuman was long gone.

"What were you doing?" Y/N asked as she approached the young officer that fired the rounds. "You don't just shoot an innocent person," she shouted with anger evident in her voice.

Captain Singh came running to his side, "Sorry, he's a rookie, it's his first day."

"Keep your officers under control...Captain," Y/N said. "We almost had him," she said throwing her arms in the air.

Barry could sense the anger in her voice as she continued to shout at the two men before her. He quickly grabbed her arm and sped them both a few blocks away into a nearby alleyway. He quickly shut off his comms and reached his hand behind her ear to shut off Y/N's as well.

"What the hell was that?" he asked; his hands now on her shoulders.

"Nothing," Y/N replied shrugging his hands off of her.

Barry scoffed, "I know you better than that Y/N."

"Do you really wanna know Barry? I'm pissed...okay? All this time I've never had a way to stop Thawne or stop what he did to me, and now I finally have an answer, I have a way to stop him, what he did to you...and I can't. Doesn't that piss you off Barry?! You have a way to stop all the terrible things he did to you...but you can't."

"You think that I like this? I'm angry too, but you don't see me taking it out on innocent cops," Barry explained.

"And that's why you are a better person than I am Barry," Y/N said before speeding off.

Barry stood there for a minute, he knew what she was going through. He was just as furious as she was, he didn't blame her for taking it out on him, he blamed himself for letting her, and not chasing after her when she needed him most.

He ran back to the lab, only hoping that he would see her there when he arrived.

"What happened out there? Y/N shut off her comms and everything," Cisco said looking at Barry as he entered the Cortex.

"I don't know," Barry replied. "I think we're both just frustrated about the whole Thawne situation, and now we have this new metahuman...it's just a lot to handle right now."

Cisco nodded, "Well let me know when she feels like coming into the lab, I could really use her help on this meta situation," he said.

"Wait," Barry interrupted, "She never came back to the lab?"

"No, I thought that she ran off with you."

"Clearly we will have to figure this out without Mrs. Allen," Harry said entering the Cortex.

Barry saw that Harry and Cisco could both figure this out, so he decided to try and go find Y/N.

Y/N sat on a bridge near the waterfront, somehow the soothing waves seemed to calm her, she just wanted some time alone from Barry, from everyone actually.

"You seem angry," a voice said from behind her.

She jumped, "You scared me," she said sounding startled; she then turned and looked back at the water. "Is it really that obvious?" she asked. Y/N assumed he was more than likely a fan and just wanted a picture since she was in her suit.

"Yeah," he said back. "But I also think that your fear is justified," he added.

Y/N quickly turned at the man only to see that his eyes were a glowing red, she was suddenly overcome with an overwhelming rage.

"Have some real anger," he snickered walking away.

Y/N sat there for a moment, absorbing what had just happened to her when she realized that the only thing that she was thinking about before he arrived was Barry...
