Y/N grabbed Barry by the neck of his suit and before they both knew they were on Earth 5, in the past...

"Are we-"

"In the past, on Earth 5," Y/N confirmed. "We did it."

"I thought we would be a lot happier about this," Barry said looking around, he then noticed Y/N stumble on her feet. "Are you okay?" he asked wrapping his arms around her to support her.

"Yeah, just tired...that was a lot of running," she said panting as she stood up.

"Where are we exactly?" Barry asked looking around, it was night and it was hard to tell exactly what time it was.

"312 Dodge Street, Central City," Y/N said flatly.

"How did you know that?"

"You see that house on the corner," she said pointing. "That's where I grew up," Y/N said sadly gazing at it. "Look, I know where we can find a place to rest and figure out where Thawne is," she added. "Follow me."

Barry then found himself on top of the Wayne Tech Building, only this time he was on Earth 5.

"This place is beautiful," he said observing the night sky and the city below him.

"I almost forgot what it was like," Y/N said sitting down next to him and pulling out her phone, she was searching for Thawne's current location.

Barry then sat down next to her, "Did Cisco's tech find him yet?" Barry asked.

"Working on it," she replied. "Should know about any minute now."

"So how do we do this, once we find him?" Barry asked.

Y/N shrugged, "I don't know. If we do this right, we should be able to talk to him, and if we get back before the window closes then time will not set in place and he won't even remember what happened, nothing will change. And we get to go home and stop him once and for all."

"You know I'm here for you, right? You don't have to go through this alone," Barry said putting his arm around her.

Y/N nodded her head, "I know, but it still isn't easy," she said turning to face him. Y/N then noticed that Cisco's tech had worked, they had tracked down Thawne, they were actually going to do this.

"What? No this can't be right," Y/N said in disbelief as she angrily typed away.

"What?" Barry asked.

"This says that Earth 1 Thawne, Wells, or whoever he is at my dad's lab..."

Barry was confused, "How is that a bad thing? Now we know exactly where he is," Barry said.

"Barry, today is the 12th, my birthday is on the 15th...today my dad is working late at the lab, he won't be home until 3:00 in the morning, when he gets home I'm on the couch watching a movie, but I actually fell asleep an hour before, he brings me upstairs and kisses me on the forehead before he goes to sleep, he thought I was asleep, but I wasn't. And in three days he and the rest of my family are going to die."

"Y/N we don't know that this is a bad thing, let's just go and find out," Barry said standing up, pulling Y/N up with him. "You lead the way," he added.

Y/N nodded before grabbing his hands and speeding away. They both arrived and Y/N snuck them in through a back entrance, careful to remain unseen, she guided Barry by his hand throughout the building.

Barry immediately stopped when he heard footsteps, he backed into a corner and pulled Y/N tight against his chest, slipping them both into the shadows and Thawne and some other man walked by.

Y/N turned her head slightly and nearly broke down at the sight of her father and with Thawne. Barry saw her open her mouth as if to cry and he quickly covered it with his hand, pulling her closer to him, they could not be seen.

Once they were out of sight Barry loosened his grip, Y/N turned in his arms, quickly burying her face in his chest. But Barry pulled her head up, Y/N got the message, that they had to move quickly. She pushed aside her feelings and pushed forward, Barry by her side.

Y/N peeked out around a corner and saw her father talking with Thawne, and then she saw something that shocked her. She saw her dad giving Thawne the speed drug that they had been working on...he had been working with him the whole time...

Y/N took a step back and leaned against Barry, she was in disbelief, and shock which overwhelmed her, she didn't know what to think or do...she was lost...

Barry saw the same thing she did, he put his arms around her, trying to do anything he knew how to comfort her.

However, Y/N knew that they couldn't do anything with Thawne right now, not while her dad was around, she proceeded to grab Barry's hand and sped him back to the rooftop.

Barry saw her break down right before his eyes, her whole world stopped and had just been turned upside down, Barry sat down beside her and pulled her into his lap, her head cradled into the crook of his neck, his hands running up and down her back.

"It's okay," he murmured.

"No," Y/N snapped, quickly pulling back and standing up. "It's not. I devoted everything I did to that man...when people asked why I did what I did I always said it was for my dad and my family," she said now crying. "I always admired him, the way he taught me, the way he raised me, loved me..."

"Y/N-"

"No, Barry. Your dad was a good man, a good person, he spent 15 years in Iron Heights for a crime that he didn't commit. Your dad was a good man, and I thought that mine was too...but I was wrong. This whole time I thought that he was innocent, that he had nothing to do with this. In reality, he is the one who gave Eobard exactly what he needed to kill my family...he was the bad guy this whole time," she sobbed.

Barry stood up and approached her, wrapping his arms around her tight. At first, Y/N fought his grip, but eventually, it calmed her, his embrace felt warm and welcoming as she collapsed into his arms. "You don't know why he's doing what he's doing," Barry said hugging her a little tighter as she cried. "I'm right here, you're not alone Y/N, I'm right here with you," he said as he sat back down, bringing Y/N with him. "I'm here," he whispered into her hair.

"Barry," she sobbed.

"Shh...it's okay...I'm here, I'm right here with you...shh," he said, cradling her in his arms. "I'm not going anywhere."

A few minutes later Barry now sat face to face with Y/N, her tear stained cheeks evident even in the dark of night. Barry held both of her hands, squeezing them ever so slightly.

"I love you."

"I love you too," Barry replied.

"Do me a favor and never turn bad on me," Y/N said taking one of her hands and wiping her tears.

"Never," Barry said cupping her face in his hands. "But we still have a mission to do here," Barry said.

"Yeah," she sniffled. "The Eobard we saw in there was from Earth 1, something tells me that he's the one that is going to help Earth 5 Eobard get his speed."

"That makes sense actually. The speed drug that your dad made could be similar to V9, a speed drug that Caitlin made once, that might be how Earth 5 Reverse Flash gets his speed, but he needs Earth 1 Thawne to help him do that," Barry explained.

"So we find one Thawne, and we find the other," Y/N added. "But how do we track them down?"

Barry shrugged, "We use Cisco's tech, or we go back to the lab and figure out where he went after that, follow his footsteps," Barry suggested.

Y/N nodded along, "We can track the speed drug, it gives off a specific tachyon signature, one that should be pretty easy to track," she added. "If Earth 5 Thawne needs this drug, I'm assuming that Earth 1 Thawne does too."

"Meaning that if we find a way to track it here, we can track him on our Earth as well," Barry added. "We can completely skip the part about talking to Thawne while we're here, saves us a few risks."

"That's the plan," Y/N replied.

"Come on," Barry said pulling her up with him. "Let's go find this guy."

--At the Lab--

"You lead the way," Barry said gesturing for Y/N to take the lead. She quickly led them throughout the facility and into what seemed like a storage room, she then began searching the shelves looking for something.

"What are we looking for exactly?" Barry asked.

"A blue bottle, once we find it we should be able to track any other samples of it," Y/N explained, still searching the shelves until she suddenly stopped...she found it. "Got it," she exclaimed.

"You found it?" Barry asked.

"Yep," she confirmed with a smile.

"Hey! What the hell are two doing in here?" someone yelled from the doorway.
