Barry sped into their apartment, still in his suit...she wasn't home. He let out a frustrated sigh, he had searched everywhere he could think of, but nothing. He was beginning to grow worried, that was until he heard the door open.

"Y/N?" Barry asked, turning to see her walk in. "Where the hell did you go?" she asked.

"You were right," she said as she pushed past him.

"Right about what exactly?" Barry questioned.

"This, us, maybe this whole thing was a mistake after all," she said stopping and turning to face Barry.

"What on Earth are you talking about?" Barry asked.

"Joe told me, after I got shot, that you said that to him, I guess I just didn't care about it until now."

As Y/N said those final words Barry was almost positive he had seen her eyes turn red for a moment. Barry tilted his head to the side, "Y/N look, that was a moment of grief, okay? I was worried sick about you."

"Enough with the excuses Barry," she snapped back, the anger in her voice. "I'm not hiding or crying about this anymore, it's time I start doing something about it. Now get out of my way," she commanded through gritted teeth.

"No," Barry harshly snapped back. "I still love you Y/N, and I don't know what's gotten into you but I know that we can get past this."

"Move," Y/N said.

"No," Barry repeated.

Y/N clenched her jaw, "I'm not gonna give you third chance to get out of my way," she warned.

"You won't need to," Barry said snapping the metahuman cuffs on her wrists. "Let's talk about this."

Y/N stared down at the cuffs, she then vibrated her hands out of them, the shock was evident on Barry's face. "That surprises you, doesn't it," she chuckled. Barry could definitely tell that something was off with her, he suspected a metahuman was involved, he just didn't have any way to know right now.

"Y/N, I'm not letting you go anywhere, we can figure this out," Barry replied as he put her hands in his. "Please, I don't want to hurt you."

Y/N chuckled, "I wish I could say that the feeling was mutual," she said pulling her hands from his grasp before punching him.

--At S.T.A.R. Labs--

Barry limped into the Cortex, his mask off. Cisco saw him, "Dude what happened?" he asked as he followed him to the med bay. Once Caitlin saw him she immediately began examing the bruises on his face.

"What happened to you?" Harry asked as he entered the room and noticed Barry's state.

"Was it that radioactive metahuman guy?" Cisco asked.

"No," Barry said shaking his head. "It was Y/N," he said wincing as Caitlin touched the area around his black eye.

"Wait, you mean to say that your wife did this to you?" Cisco asked sounding shocked.

"She's not exactly herself right now, it's like she was a completely different person," Barry explained. "She's a hero, she's saved hundreds of people, someone who does that certainly doesn't just turn around and want to hurt people," Barry said defending Y/N.

Harry listened intently, "Do you think this sudden anger was caused by our radioactive meta?"

Barry shook his head, "I don't know why this happened," he shrugged, "All that matters is that it did and we need to stop it."

"Did you fight back?" Harry asked.

Barry shot him an offended look, "Sorry if I wasn't exactly jumping at the chance to punch out my wife."

"She clearly was," Harry shot back.

"Hey, here you guys are, oh, what happened to you," Oliver said walking into the med bay and noticing Barry's black eye as well as the gash on his cheek.

"Isn't it obvious, I got my ass kicked," Barry replied. "Better question, why are you here?" he asked Oliver.

"I was chasing down a lead here in Central City, it didn't turn out so I thought I'd come see how you guys were. Who did this to you?" Oliver questioned.

"Y/N," Barry replied sounding hurt. "She just slipped into this sudden onset rage."

Oliver stood silent for a moment, pondering a thought. "Wait," Oliver interrupted. "Sudden onset rage, that's happened to you before, with that Bivolo guy."

Harry cut into the conversation, "Who is Bivolo?"

"A metahuman, one that can cause sudden anger and hatred, he made an appearance a while back, we haven't had anything on him since, but he messed with Barry the first year that he got his powers," Cisco explained.

"I was there for that," Oliver added.

"We haven't been able to track him for a long time, but it is definitely possible," Caitlin said.

"Well, then let's find him, and Y/N, and finally put an end to this," Barry said wincing again as Caitlin continued to examine the gash on his cheek.

--A few hours later--

"How are you feeling?" Cisco asked as Barry paced around the Cortex.

"Worried," Barry replied as he continued to pace. "I just want to know where she is."

Cisco nodded, "I get that," he said to his friend. "Lucky for you the S.T.A.R. Labs satellite just picked up Y/N downtown near that new construction site."

"Call Oliver," Barry said pulling on his mask.

"Wait," Cisco said interrupting Barry, "Why do we need to call Oliver?" Cisco questioned.

"Because I might not be able to do this alone," Barry said speeding away.

He arrived only to see that Y/N was waiting for him. "Took you long enough," she snickered.

"Y/N just listen to me, I wanna help you," Barry said taking a few cautious steps towards her.

She chuckled, "Funny thing, that's usually what we say to metahumans before we lock them in the pipeline."

"Look, there's a meta, his name is Bivolo, he's the one doing this to you, just hear me out," Barry pleaded.

"I'm tired of hearing you out," Y/N said throwing the first punch. Barry groaned as he fell to the ground, the hit knocking the wind out of him.

"I still believe in you Y/N," Barry said as she came at him once again. Barry found himself being knocked to the ground once again, only this time something was sent flying Y/N's way. She had caught the arrow that Oliver sent her way with a swift accuracy.

--

"I just hope that they can stop Y/N before she kills Barry and Oliver," Harry said intently watching the monitor in the Cortex next to Cisco.

"I think you mean before Barry and Oliver takedown Y/N," Cisco corrected.

Harry laughed, "Please, Barry's fast, but Y/N is faster, my money's on speed."

"Well, my money is on experience, Oliver has already done this with Barry once before," Cisco explained.

"I think that you're forgetting that Y/N also has a lot of experience, plus, Oliver had a standard recurve bow, those arrows travel at around 300 miles per hour, Y/N is much faster than that," Harry said defending himself.

"Experience," Cisco shot back.

"Speed," Harry replied.

"Please tell me you're not actually having this conversation," Caitlin called out from the other room.

--

Y/N was now knocked down on the ground next to Barry, she dodged his punch, quickly rolling out of the way. Barely missing the strike he sent, but she then swept her foot, kicking his own feet out from under him. Y/N leaped over to the side, right as his hand had tried to sweep out her own feet from under her. He and Oliver jumped to their feet and began circling her.

"Y/N you know me, we've been through hell together. Remeber that one time we spent the entire night in the lab eating Big Belly Burger until our stomachs ached," Barry said in a last-ditch effort.

Y/N took a step back, whatever Barry had said had some sort of an effect on her. Harry quickly caught on to what was happening.

"Keep talking to her," Harry instructed. "Whatever you're saying is beginning to reverse the effects of whatever Bivolo did to her, keep reminding her of things," Harry explained.

Oliver took a step forward, "Please don't do this Y/N, your team needs you, this city needs you, your friends need you...Barry needs you."

Whatever they were saying had stopped her, she was now stumbling on her feet, whatever Bivolo had done to her was wearing off.

"I remember the first night you saved a person on this Earth, it was a burning building," Barry started. "I remember you falling asleep on the couch that night watching the news reports about you...a hero. I carried you up to your room and I could've sworn I saw a smile on your face as I did so...that was the night I knew that I loved you Y/N..."

Oliver quickly jumped on what Barry had said, "You once told me that we meant to be heroes, that we were chosen somehow...you believed in our team when no one else did. I remember when you were worried sick about Barry, you love him more than anything in the world...so come back to him," Oliver said.

Barry took a few more steps closer to her until he practically right in front of her face; he looked down into her eyes and saw that they were filled with shock, Y/N suddenly let out an exasperated sigh and starting breathing heavily.

"Oh this is gonna be a special kind of hangover," she said falling into Barry's arms, which welcomed her gratefully.
