"What the hell?" Oliver questioned as he absorbed what was in front of him.

"What? You look like you've seen a ghost," Oliver's doppelganger taunted.

"What do you want from us?" Kara asked.

"Oh we only need one thing from you...is for all of you to die," her doppelganger replied.

"Don't worry," Thawne interrupted. "I've been waiting to do this for so long, and your wife, well, she's like a bonus," he said stepping forward.

Barry immediately put himself between Y/N and Thawne. "You're not gonna lay a hand on her," Barry snapped back.

"Funny," Thawne chuckled. "You said the same thing about your mother before I murdered her," he snickered.

Barry had taken enough and made the first move against Thawne, and then a full fight broke out. Each doppelganger fighting each other, Barry and Y/N both fighting Thawne.

After a long and excruciating battle, the heroes were left, they got away, and with the stolen tech.

They arrived back at the Arrow Cave, all looking defeated.

"What happened out there?" Alex asked.

"They're us...our doppelgangers," Kara replied.

"So what's our next move?" Sara asked.

"We track them, we find them, and we get them the hell off our Earth," Y/N said back.

"Sounds like a plan," Oliver said dismissing everyone.

Y/N saw Barry sped out and headed back to Central City for the night. She said her goodbyes before following him, she arrived at their apartment and found him on the bed, his head in his hands. Y/N walked over and sat next to him, his head leaned against her shoulder, her arms wrapping around him as if out of instinct.

They didn't say anything, but then again they didn't need to...they both knew what they needed...each other. Y/N eventually coaxed Barry to lay down, his head lay against her stomach, his arms snug around her waist as they both drifted into a deep sleep.

They both woke the next morning.

"Barry, do wanna talk about last night?" Y/N asked as she watched Barry change and get ready for the day.

"No," Barry replied almost instantly.

"Barry, come on," Y/N pleaded.

"Y/N...I said I don't want to talk about it," he snapped back.

"Barry-"

"Y/N!...enough," Barry said before leaving.

And with that Y/N headed over to Star City, Barry came later and went to talk with Oliver while Y/N went to talk with Cisco and Felicity.

"Were you guys able to track our Earth-X visitors?" she asked as she approached them.

"Not yet," Cisco said shaking his head.

"Have you tried tracking their quantum field?" Y/N asked. "They're from a different Earth-"

"Meaning they vibrate at a different frequency," Felicity filled in.

"That is genius," Cisco added before changing his search.

"So, what's up with Barry, he seems off," Felicity said pulling Y/N off to the side.

"Yeah, it's with Thawne being back, it keeps bringing back memories of his mom, and it worries him about me. It's just this whole Earth-X thing has been really hard on him, and I don't want to push him to open up,"

"Because you're afraid that it will push him away?" Felicity guessed.

Y/N nodded while Cisco called them over. "I think I may have found their base, it's on the outskirts of Central City, should we go?" Cisco asked.

"I'll go get Oliver and Barry," Y/N said walking away.

After Y/N got Oliver and Barry, the rest of the superheroes had moved over to Central City, more specifically, S.T.A.R. Labs.

"So, what's up with you?" Barry asked as Y/N walked down the hall.

"What do you mean?" Y/N asked leaning against the wall next to Barry.

"You seem upset about something," he said furrowing his brows.

"It's nothing," she said getting up and beginning to walk away, but not before Barry grabbed her hand and pulled her back towards him.

"C'mon I know you better than that Y/N just tell me," he urged.

"Do you really wanna know Barry?" Y/N snapped. "I'm pissed, okay. I get that this is hard for you, I really do. I tried to comfort you, and I tried to get you to open up, and you ignored me, Barry. And now you're just acting like things are fine...things are not fine, Barry."

"Well, I didn't know, you didn't seem that upset around everyone else," Barry defended.

"Barry, just because I am smiling on the outside, does not mean I am not crying on the inside. You only see my light side because I learned how to lock up the dark side," Y/N said pulling her hand free from Barry's and heading into the Cortex.

"So, what's our plan of attack?" Sara asked as everyone reentered the Cortex.

"Barry, Y/N, you two are going to focus on clearing a path. Kara and I will focus on taking down our doppelgangers. Sara and Alex, you two focus on watching our backs," Oliver instructed.

Everyone nodded to one another as they all headed out to grab their suits, Barry stared longingly at Y/N as she went to grab her suit. He hated it when they fought, he was lucky that it was such a rare occurrence. But he decided not to talk about it until after they had dealt with the Earth-X issue.

Barry and Y/N arrived at the warehouse first, they quickly scanned the perimeter and noticed a large number of troops surrounding the building. After they had successfully cleared a path, Oliver, Kara, and the others headed in.

As the battle ensued, Oliver and Kara's doppelgangers had made an appearance, but the Reverse Flash had shown up until just recently. At first, the heroes seemed to have had a fighting chance, but now it was seeming as though the battle was not going in their favor.

It wasn't long before all of them had been knocked out...they had lost.
