These cheers were echoing throughout the corridors of the Matsya palace

Abhimanyu and vrish were walking side by side, headed towards the wedding mandap, vrish had spent almost 1 hour, deciding what abhi should wear, and another 1 and a half hours, deciding on the jewellery. Abhimanyu neck felt like it would break any second with the amount of heavy gold necklaces vrish made him wear, he felt more like necklace display than a groom.

Abhimanyu was feeling extremely nervous, not because he was going to marry the girl who stole his heart on first glance but because he would be meeting angraj for the first time.. his heart was beating so fast he felt like it might come out

Why am I so nervous Its not like angraj will eat me or something. Plus I have vrish to help me

The large door opened revealing kings and princes from many different kingdoms, and the matsya royal family, suddenly everyone stopped talking and started looking at Abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu how ever confidently, and elegantly entered the room flashing everyone present a polite smile before turning to vrish

Thats when he noticed vrish wasn't beside him anymore

Huh? Where did this idiot go again? Is he seriously ditching me on my wedding day!

"ABHI"

Abhimanyu turned to the other side, spotting vrish standing next to someone, who looked almost identical to him, but he looked older and-and he had golden kundals!

Abhimanyu immediately identified the man as angraj karna

"Abhi come here! Let me introduce you to pitashree!"

Abhimanyu gracefully strode over to them, trying to look as confident as possible when he was panicking on the inside

"Abhi look this is-"

Pranipat angraj, I'm honoured to have been graced with your presence on the this auspicious event" Said abhimanyu politely but confidently while joining his hands

"Abhi you know pitashree"

"Well you literally said 'let me introduce you to pitashree' and then you and angraj look so similar and angraj's kundals make it almost impossible not to recognise him"

"Hmm you're smarter than I thought abhi"

"Abhimanyu, congratulations for your wedding, I hope you will take care of uttara."

"Don't worry angraj, I'll make sure uttara is always happy" said abhimanyu while smiling

Just then angraj did something which caught abhimanyu off gaurd - he gently caressed abhimanyu's hair with an affectionate smile

"You really do take after your father"

Abhimanyu felt touched and bent down to get karna's blessings

"Sada yashasvi bhava"

"Angraj, my father isn't present today, in fact none of my family is, so if you don't mind could you attend the wedding as m-my father?"
