The person who listened to their conversation excused himself and gave karna some space to acknowledge the situation

Mamashree just left to talk to tatshree and reveal his birth secret and for some reason curiosity is eating me alive, should I? Should I listen to them?

I decided to hide behind some trees where I won't be visible but tatshree and mamashree are clearly visible and also audible.

As I excused myself from there, I couldn't help but think about tatshree karna

Had I judged him too early?

So that insult, it was actually an indirect attempt to save mata draupadi?

I never thought this but could kakashree duryodhan and the kauravas also be victims?

Evil is made not born

And if tatshree karna has repented, could it mean we could stop this war?

No! Mata draupadi won't let that happen after her insult!

But what if the kauravas somehow ask for forgiveness and mata draupadi gets to punish them, without dying, maybe thats possible... but kakashree duryodhan and the other kauravas would never apologise!

These thoughts kept clouding my mind till I reached the pandav camp

Everyone was going to bed as it was already night

"I suppose I won't have to tell you anything now that you've listened to it yourself"

Someone said from behind me

"Mamashree! Stop with the jump-scares!" I said startled

"Wait, you saw me!" I asked shocked

"Well I didn't have to see you, I already knew you would be there" mamashree said with his iconic mischievous smile

Mamashree always confuses me but what can I say, he confuses pretty much everyone

"Mamashree, if the kauravas apologise and get punished, could this war be stopped?" I asked with hope

"Possibly, but I don't think duryodhan would be happy to apologise"

"I'll convince him!"

Mamashree raised his eyebrows and gave me a questioning look

"You?"

"Umm not me.. but maybe tatshree can!"

"Go to sleep now abhi, it's getting late, don't want to snooze off in the battlefield do you huh" mamashree joked

"Okay mamashree, good night"

Mahabharat Day 10

The Pandavas put Shikhandi, who had been a woman in a prior life, in front of Bhishma, as Bhishma has taken a vow not to attack a woman. Shikhandi's arrows fell on Bhishma without hindrance. Arjuna positions himself behind Shikhandi, protecting himself from Bhishma's attack and aimed his arrows at the weak points in Bhishma's armor and defeats him.

The Kauravas and Pandavas gathered around Bhishma and at his request, Arjuna places three arrows under Bhishma's head to support it. Bhishma had promised his father, King Shantanu, that he would live until Hastinapura was secured from all directions. To keep this promise, Bhishma used the boon of Ichcha Mrityu father.

Everyone mourned for bheeshm's loss, though he had not died, but with the state he was in, he would quite soon after the war.

Both the kauravas and pandavas gathered around bheeshm and shared some last words before heading back to their respective camps to rest for the night

Meanwhile, when the rest were fighting, the same morning during surya pooja indra dev asked for kavach kundal daan from karna, which he gave, kunti then asked for nakul and sahdev during the battle to heal karna's wounds. But no one on the battle except nakul and sahdev know about karna being injured
