No, Flora

Thorin's point of view.

The blood gushed out of the guys nose as it turned to the side thanks to the force of my fist. Tiny droplets dripped onto my hand as the cheers of others filled my ears. The poor lad's head slammed against the floor while more of his blood gushed out, causing even more of an uproar from the alcohol filled men.

I huffed, looking at the man who obviously lost the fight. A hand slapped against my sweater shoulder as they told me congratulations about how I beat the shit out of some bloke. I looked up at Mr. Louis who nodded at me. In his hands was the wad of cash that he was going to give me for skipping out on that party and took some punches.

People began to leave, picking the guy up and breaking the ring they had made with their bodies. My fingers touched my lip that was punched and forced to bleed but I had to smile. This was better than getting in trouble in school so Flora could calm down. Mr. Louis was still there, holding my money and bag.

"Good fight." He said, wiggling the green bills in the dark room. "Any plans tonight?"

It took little time for me to walk up to the short science teacher, taking the cash and smirking. "I'm going to go to a party." The cash went directly into the bag without much thought about it. I hitched it over my shoulder.

Mr. Louis gave me a side smile. "Don't do anything stupid, kid."

My head shook as I turned around. "I'm not doing anything stupid, I'm just going to go get someone."

"That Flora girl?" He began to talk louder as I walked away from the balding man. Mr. Louis was correct, I was going to go see her and make sure she was okay. Flora wasn't exactly comfortable around people and it was my duty to insure that Flora was fine. I didn't answer him, mostly because I highly doubted he even knew who he was talking about. Somehow he had connected me to this underground fighting club but he wasn't the smartest when it came to knowing who someone was.

A vibration came from my pocket of my jeans. It continued even in my hands and said it was Melody who was the source of the call.

"Hello?" I said annoyingly.

"Thorin?" She questioned.

"What do you want Mel?" My fingers went through my hair as I looked in the parking lot of the building to find the car that I had bought. Mr. Louis had amazed me again and somehow got me connected to buy a car, not illegally but at least it was nice and helped me hide it once in a while.

"You're not going to like this..." She drew out the words.

I sighed. "Tell me, now."

"Okay, so I can't find Flora. We were dancing and this one girl who I think goes to our school took her away and now she's out of my sight."

Panic wanted to settle in but I remained calm for Mel's sake because she always freaked out. "Calm down." I tried to put an end to her frantic voice. "Maybe she went to the bathroom or something."

My cousin groaned. "No, no one is in it."

"Don't worry, I'll be there in a minute."

"Wait-"

After being in the states for quite some time, my temper has been managed except for once and that's when Flora was hurt but I couldn't control it this time. My teeth gritted against each other because I was angry at the fact that Melody had promised me that she would stick to Flora at this fucking party. I personally asked her to so Flora had someone by her side when I wasn't there.

********

With white knuckles, my grip around my steering wheel increased in anticipation. I felt the pressure of my jaw as it tensed up when the speed of the car was way above the legal limit the street but I didn't care. There was barely any cars but when one did pass, the tires easily moved to dodge them. It ended with them honking at me but again, that was just background noise.

The house that the party was in came up into my view quickly and so did the site of people hanging out on the porch that puffed out smoke. My throat became dry at the thought a cigarette and the sweet nicotine that I hadn't tasted in the past couple of days. I was on the patch but it didn't take away the desire to light one up to relieve my stress.

Parking quite a bit away from the house, I slammed the door and ran up to the porch where I was welcomed by the familiar smell. It tried to pull me in by the nostrils but the fact that Flora was in there brought me back into reality. I waved off the smell and walked into the house where Mel was sitting in the corner with her chin in her hand.

"Mel, any idea where she is?" I huffed, trying to not think about having a smoke.

She shook her head. "No, I've looked all over the house except for the bedrooms."

That was enough for me to leave her and go almost ballistic. I weaved through the crowds of people, ignored the hands of girls that grabbed at me to dance with them and the stares that the guys were given me. I was used to it, and learned to how to deal with it.

I may have been a little over protective of Flora, I just couldn't help it. She stole my heart the moment I saw those hazel eyes peak through that window when I moved in and I've been whipped ever since. If she liked someone else, that was fine but that didn't mean that person could possibly ruin her life at a party. That's why I was going to find where she was and make sure she was okay.

The first room I went to, a couple was on the bed. A girl was on the guy and thankfully it wasn't Flora. Without them noticing, I closed the door and moved on in the huge house. The next room I went to was full again, but this time it was two football players who were looking into each other's eyes without saying. Their heads snapped the moment the door opened and I could see the dread in their eyes. I waved at them, shrugging and closed the door.

Again, I was trying to keep myself calm and just continue to look through each room until the last room was left. I eyed the knob, turning it and praying that Flora wasn't in there and maybe she was just somewhere in the house where there wasn't any males that could possibly take advantage of the naive girl. Jace was in the room, sitting on the bed and whispering words while his arm was around Flora's.

"Get away from her." I said sternly. The bastard looked up, saw who was talking and slowly spread his lips into a grim smile.

"HEY THORIN!" Flora, who was clearly intoxicated, waved at me. Her face was beat red like she had been drinking. Of course she had been drinking, there's no way she would be in a room with Jace.

Within a few strides, I was at her side and grabbed at her. "Calm down, man." Jace said, looking like a snake. "She was just getting a little sleepy and I thought it would be smart to take her in here."

"Thorin, I want to staaayy." She protested, slurring her words.

"Uh-huh." Her arm barely went over my shoulder and my hand was at her waist to stand her up. "Time to go home." Jace had no idea how lucky he was because of how full my hands were. If Flora wasn't there, he would have been dead. It didn't help when he continued his stupid smile while I walked Flora out of the room.

Mel saw us and walked beside me while I basically carried Flora who was nearly falling down each step on the way out of the house.

"Thorin, I'm sorry." Mel squeaked.

"Sure." I said, nodding at the car door that the two had taken to the party. "Open the door." She did so and allowed me to carefully place Flora's somewhat limp body. "You okay to drive?"

"Yeah."

"Then do it." My body sat next to Flora's who radiated off heat.

She giggled while staring at me with her glossy eyes. The car began to drive away, leaving mine behind. I would have to get it later but all I cared about was Flora and how she looked. There wasn't any tearing, her clothes looked okay and no sign of them being taken off showed. I breathed in relief at the fact that Jace didn't get far enough to do something to the drunk girl.

"Thorin, I'm really sorry." Mel said again, looking at the two of us in the rear-view mirror.

"I got it the first time." My eyes narrowed.

I kept my eyes on the road, holding Flora's hand to calm me down and so I didn't jump out of that car and proceed to kill Jace. "Thorin." A hot breath that smelled of alcohol followed my name. Flora was on her knee while nearly touching her face with mine.

"Hi." My hand cupped her warm cheek. "I need you to sit back down, okay?"

She shook her head. "No." Her limbs awkwardly moved across the seat until one of her knees were on my lap. Slightly, she struggled until the knee finally slid on the outside of my thigh. Her face was dangerously close to mine, covering my view from the road her flesh and hair.

"Flora." I groaned, trying to get her off of me but it was no use. She wrapped herself around me and forcing me to be stuck in the small backseat.

Her lips left wet kisses on the side of my cheek and trailed down my neck. As much as I've dreamed about this moment, I didn't wanted it to happen this way. I actually wanted her to be one hundred percent sober for the moment of my dreams. "Thorin, I really like you." Her words were hot on my ear.

"I like you too." I said, trying to logical and think that she was just joking.

"Thorin, I really reeeally like you. Like like-like you." She mumbled.

I know I'm supposed to be the cool guy here but I couldn't help but feel my heart race at her words. She may have been lying but at that moment, I thought that she truly meant it and was confessing to me. As much as I wanted to wrap my hands around her, I held myself back until she said it again and knew what she was saying.

She became kiss happy again, starting from the base of my neck back up to my cheek. Her kisses were wet and kind of sloppy. She stopped for a second, eyeing my own lips. Slowly, she began to lower her face towards mine. I forced myself to move to the side and dodging the one pair of lips that I truly wanted.

We couldn't have gotten home fast enough. The car was practically still moving when my feet jumped onto the driveway to our house and help Flora who was laying on her side. I helped Flora once more and got her into my home while her hand slid from the lower part of my back to my butt.

"You have a good butt, you know that?" She smiled while Mel and I walked her into Mel's room and laid her on the bed.

I had to smirk. "I can't wait till you sober up, I'm so going to rag on you for this." My attention turned to Melody. "Make sure she get's some sleep. Alright?" My cousin nodded her head. Even though I didn't want to leave Flora, I had to go into my own room and lock myself in and make sure that Flora stayed away from me.

My back pushed my bedroom door closed as my head leaned against it, letting me sigh. I eyed the pack of cigarettes that was on my nightstand and was reminded how much I wanted one. Slowly, I made my way to the box and grasped it like a hawk to a small animal. When tapped on the side, nothing came out. Not even little pieces of tobacco that usually fell out of the cigarettes.

I laughed, huffed and turned off the lights.

********

Temperature is not something that I was usually bothered by. I could survive in the cold with nothing but pants on or survive the scorching sun with the blackest outfit on. But when I suddenly woke up in the middle of the night, I was unreasonably hot.

Something tickled the skin on my chest while the blanket slowly rose up and and down. "Damn it." My hushed voice said when I picked up the material and saw Flora basically laying on me.

I took one of my pillows and threw it on the ground and proceeded to put my head on it, leaving Flora in my bed. She noticed this and began to wine. "Thorin, come baaaack." Flora's voice boomed through.

"When you're sober, sure." My back faced her so I wouldn't be able to see the look in her eyes.

"Thorin!"

Ayyee! I hope you enjoyed this chapter and Thorin's p.o.v. It was kind of fun writing in his perspective and I hope it was easy to distinguish his personality from Flora's. Writing this now, I know there's going to be a man hunt on Jace lmao but just wait. Also Mr. Louis has passion for not only science but also fighting. Who knew haha. Remember:

Comment; tell me what you think about drunk Flora lmao.
