i sat on the bed that was still left in colby's room and quickly flickered my eyes around the clean room only having the bed, his couch and his black desk. i opened the box and inside was something i didn't expect as it quickly brought me to tears. i went through the box and saw pictures of us together. it looks like they were mostly taken by the roommates i pouted my bottom lip as tears slipped down my face. my lips formed into a smile as i looked at the pictures. i miss us. i put the pictures back in the box and look at the time and realize it's about 3 in the morning. i sigh and fall asleep in colby's bed that still lingered in his scent.   

~time skip~

i woke up the next morning and sat up in colby's bed with a light sigh leaving my lips. i quickly fixed my hair and hopped in my car saying bye to jake on the way out. i checked the 3 closest apartments and no signs of colby. i went on from there and was starting to lose hope when i checked an apartment that was about 30 minutes away and see colby's red corolla in the parking lot.
