I woke up and rolled over to see Colby laying next to me causing a smile to creep onto my face. I kissed his nose softly making his eyes softly open. He gave me a toothy iconic smile causing me to giggle and he pulled me into his chest. "good morning sweetheart" he said in a raspy voice. "morning my love" I whispered. We slept soundly until about 10 when Jake woke us up, "hello fellow roommates!" I giggled and sat up in the bed "good morning idiot" I yawned as I stretched. Colby got up as well as we went downstairs and got breakfast that was already made from Corey who was in the kitchen along with Sam. You could feel in the air a sense of happiness all of us have been lacking until now and it felt peaceful and nice, like after a year of fast, confused spinning the world was finally still. And I could tell everyone else felt that way too. We all talked until noon when Sam left to see Kat and Tara came over to hang out with Jake. Me and Colby went to our room and finished decorating and it was fun, it made me feel like a middle-aged married couple and it was kinda sweet. After that Colby took me to lunch which was fun. "well what should we do now" I asked as we walked around Los Angeles holding hands. He checked the time on his phone quickly which confused me "whatever you want" he said smiling. I giggled as we kept walking "Why'd you check the time? is there anything you need to do today?" I asked curiously, he chuckled softly "there's somewhere I wanna go with you but we have to wait till later" he said. I shook my head and giggled "you and your surprises" I joked as we kept walking.

It was now 8 pm and Colby said he was taking me to a special place. We got in his red car and drove as his hand rested on my thigh and we made small talk. We parked the car at the end of the dark street as he stopped the car. I went to open my door when Colby swatted my hand away making me give him a confused look. He pointed his finger at me making me giggle "freeze" he spoke as he ran to my side of the car and opened my door for me. "Dork" I mumbled with a smile as I took his hand and got out of the car. I stood up being inches apart from Colby's lips causing him to smile and kiss me softly. We continued holding hands while walking down the barely dimmed streets caused by streetlights and the occasional cars. When we eventually got close enough I saw something in the distance that made a warm exciting feeling fill my stomach. "is that the skatepark?!" I asked Colby with a smile. He nodded in response as I gasped excitedly and let go of his hand, running over to the park "hey" Colby chuckled chasing after me. We reached the park and I looked over at Colby. He has a glimmer in his eyes that showed he was just as happy as I was to be here. We walked over to our bench and talked about honestly just that we have been through a lot but we love each other, so much. And at this moment realizing this is where I really came close to my best friend sam, where I first met my boyfriend, where my life came together. With this group of people and my life like this..is how it's meant to be.
