Kian's perspective:

I arrived back at my house to see Trista curled up with her phone on the couch. I smiled and walked over to her handing her the backpack with her stuff in it. she smiled and stood up, she still had to look up at me since she was about as tall as my chest. "thankyou, did Colby talk to you?" she asked curiously. I shrugged "not really just let me in and gave me a few glares" I lied. she smiled and let out a sigh of relief "thank god I was scared he was gonna be a dick" she mumbled as she ran upstairs to the guest room I'm letting her stay in. I smiled and walked upstairs to my own room and went to sleep.

~time skip 1 and a half weeks~

Trista's perspective: 

I woke up still being at Kian's and let out a sigh. I talked to Colby a couple of times and he said he wasn't ready to make up until Kian was out of the picture or decided to respect boundaries. he said he was rude when he came over to grab my things but Kian said they barely talked so who knows. I stood up and stretched before getting dressed in some black leggings and an oversized sweatshirt. I walked downstairs and Kian was in the kitchen. he looked over and smiled at my presence. "hey Trista" he greeted enthusiastically. I smiled at him and grabbed a banana to eat for breakfast. We talked for a little until I received a phone call from Colby. I looked at Kian with my eyebrow raised "guess ill be right back" I said to him and he nodded and went on his phone. I walked into the other room and answered the call "hey" Colby said with a dry voice. "hey?" I said as question held in mine. "I miss you and I feel like we can get passed this because I love you and I've been very immature about this situation and I'm sorry" I couldn't help but smile at his sentence as I let out a heavy breath. "okay, ill be over soon. love you too" I said hanging up the phone. I walked back over to where Kian was and told him I was going to have a conversation with Colby. "okay, be careful okay?" he stated. I let out a little giggle and nodded "okay dad" he smiled as I exited the house and drove to Colby's apartment.
