i woke up quietly making sure not to wake up Colby as i get dressed and ready to head to work. i took on of his shirts, i don't think he will mind and left a note on his desk saying i was heading to work. i got an uber to drive me there sense i did not have my car and started my boring shift. Tuesdays are always slow...

i woke up and saw Trista's note on my desk. i  got dressed in some grey sweatpants and a plain dark blue t shirt. i walked down stairs and saw all the room mates playing video games or eating. "well hello Colby you slept in late" Jake said as he put a pizza roll in your mouth "like usual right: Corey yelled from the other room making everyone chuckle "hey beauty sleep is important" i joked back getting a small laugh from everyone. we all hung out for awhile and decided to have a boys day sense Devyn was out with Katrina anyways. we all went to Santa Monica peire. we were just eating dip and dots and sitting by the beach togather joking around. "hey guys" i said looking down at my food. the room mates all look over "yea Colby?" Aaron asks concerned. "i just want to apologize for letting a relationship with some girl make me...distant. i'm sorry" i look up at all there faces as they make a circle around me. "dude its ok, you don't have to apologize, we understand" Sam says rubbing my back. the room mates nod and we pull into a group hug and then went back to the happy day at the beach. in this moments with the breeze in my hair and the smell of the ocean and the laughter of people around me, all i could this was these moments that make life feel worth it, these are the moments i miss.
