i woke up the next morning and sat in my bed thinking. i need to find a new job i thought to myself. i sighed and decided to push it till the end of the week. i got dressed in a white t shirt and some black ripped jeans and then put on my vans as i walked out my front door. i walked to the corner store near my apartment and walked in buying some gum and some chips. i walked up to the cash register and pay before walking out. as i exit the store i see Colby across the street on the sidewalk. i stare at him for a second and walk off before he can see me.

Colbys perspective:

i was in my car driving to Tristas apartment. Sam talked to me the other day and i decided that...i need her.  i got to her apartment door and stood there for a moment taking some breaths to come my nerves as i knocked. but no one answered. i knocked again but still no answer. i stood there for a minute then sighed coming to the conclusion that shes not here. i walked out of her apartment thinking i guess were just not meant to be... and decided to walk around the block.
