"Congratulations. Another good weekend. You were the overall high score junior group." Miss Abby says, "That's important. That's where we wanted to be. We wanted to be number one. Let's get to the pyramid."

Wait, why are there 9 pictures? Aren't they supposed to be only 8? 

Instead of revealing the ones of the bottom, she revealed the one of the top first. And we all know that it is Maddie.

"Maddie, you were the overall high score. I gave you a job to do: to teach your sisters and to make sure that they could keep up with you, and that's what you did. You took charge."

Maddie smiles as Miss Abby reveals the next headshot.

"Paige. You did a great job. It was darling." She reveals the next headshot, "Kendall, you were third place overall. Hey, it wasn't second. Thanks goodness." Next one, "We have Chloe. Chloe, you were the first overall high score in the junior solo division"

That was short.

"Nia, once again, you didn't draw my eyes in a negative way. That's very admirable."

Aww.

"Next, Melanie. On the trio you looked gorgeous alongside your sisters, even though you didn't use your face at all, again, but in the group dance, you were a hot mess."

Thanks for remembering me about that.

The picture beside Brooke's was still not shown. There's another person, but who is that?

"Now, you see another picture. We have a new member of the team." Miss Abby announces as she reveals the new headshot, "She made the commitment, and now Asia will be joining the Abby Lee Dance Company."

We all look at each other. I have no clue who this Asia girl is, but on the picture she has the same pose as Kenzie, and Kenzie is also kind of hurt with the foot thing. Coincidence?

"Now, we are going to Energy Dance in Highland, Michigan. And I know for a fact that the Wicked Witch of the West and her crappy little apples are going to be there. You are the reigning national winners for Energy Dance. You cannot wall in there this weekend any less." Miss Abby tells us, "We are doing a group routine. The title of the routine is 'Return to Grace.' That group routine will be without Mackenzie, Melanie and Asia."

•Two Days To Competition•

"Today's the day!" I exclaim as I enter the Dancer's Den with Emma and Klara.

"The day of Liam's surprise?" Emma asks.

"No, the day that the new girl's coming." I tell them and we start stretching

"Ooh, the Asia girl." Klara says, "I've already heard so much about her, I'm excited. It's gonna be juicy."

"Juicy?" I ask, "What do you mean juicy?"

She shows me her Caprisun juice.

"Oh."

"Melanie." Paige and Kenzie walk over to me.

"Mhm?" I look at the to of them.

"What if you go to the front desk and wait for the new ones to come?" Paige asks.

"It's a dare!" Kenzie adds.

"Sure." I slowly stand up, adjust my dance clothes, tighten my ponytail and walk out of the Dancer's Den.

"How are you, sweetheart?"

"They're already here?" I ask myself, "Ugh, why did they make me do this?"

I take a deep breath, smile and continue walking.

"Hi, I'm Asia."

I turn around and notice the girl. Whoa, she scared me.

"Hi." I say, "I'm Melanie."

The two of us enter the Dancer's Den and I run over to Emma and Klara, hiding behind them.

"Everybody, this is Asia." Miss Abby says as she enters with Asia's mom, "And this is Kristie!"

"Two Kristies!" Kelly says, "I don't think the world can handle two Kristies."

"Let's see how you match up with Mackenzie." Miss Abby tells Asia and they stand next to each other, "Melanie, come over."

I look at Emma and Klara nervously as I walk over to Mackenzie and Asia. I was a little bit shorter than them, but again, it may be the age. I get on tippy toes and the three of us start doing it.

The older girls go rehearse the group dance, the three of us start to get to know each other, and that's how the day goes!

Something more, today's Liam's birthday, so the four of us decided to do a little something, but it may be bigger than we thought.

I change into my street clothes and meet up with the rest outside.

"Who's gonna take us?" Peter asks.

"Wait, wait, wait." Klara says, "You planned everything but you have no one to take us?"

"I forgot." Peter admits.

"You forgot?!" Emma asks, "Wow."

"I'll just ask my mom." I tell them and run back inside.

I run up to Dance Jail, where all of the moms were watching Asia rehearse.

"Could you take us?" I ask Mommy, "We have no one to take us, please."

"Aww, look at those puppy eyes." Holly says and Mommy sighs.

"I'll take you guys quick." Mommy says and the two of us leave.

She takes us to our, destination, and leaves, but I need to have my phone with me at all times. All right, Miss Security, I know.

"We're finally here!" Emma exclaims, "Now we have to wait for Liam."

"How long?" Klara asks.

"I don't know." Peter answers.

He gets here soon, and it was a surprise!

"Told ya we were doing something." I tell him, "And that something is called fair."

We started off with all of the rides, continued with simpler games, and finished eating, cotton candy, to be exact.

"You know what would be cool?" I stop all of the guys, "If someone rented a whooooole park for a birthday party!"

"I'll keep it on my notes." Liam tells me, "By the way, are any of you, and I'm talking to Melanie, interested on taking this plush?"

"Aww, yes!" I exclaim as he gives me the plush, "It's adorable."

One of the best nights ever!

Competition Day

I zip my jacket and get off the bus. I follow everyone to the dressing room and sit down on an empty chair.

"I hope Abby's not sad when she comes in today." Mommy comments, "You know, going to the taxidermy for her dog."

"What's that?" I ask her.

"Melanie, it's like-- I don't even know." Kelly says and laughs.

"What is she going to do with it?" Brooke asks.

"Hug it?" Kelly asks.

"I would never want to hug a dead body." I say and everyone laughs, "Even if it is of a dog."

"Nia wanted to know if she was bringing it here." Holly says and I look at her.

I start brushing my hair. What if Miss Abby brings Baby? I should've stayed home with Kenz, but nope, she could stay, but I had to come, maybe to just fill one more seat.

I'm really bored because Kenzie's not here and I don't have anything to do today.

As we're walking out of the dressing room, I see Cathy talking with someone and Miss Abby starts looking at a man. He was with a kid, stretching him. It turned out they knew each other and we stop.

"Did Miss Abby notice that we're beside Cathy?" Maddie whispers to my ear and I chuckle.

"Maybe not, but look at Cathy looking at them." I whisper and we look at her.

"Oh, now she's ignoring them." Maddie whispers.

I look over to Vivi.

"Look at Vivi, does she only have white dresses?" I whisper back.

"Yeah, and she looks so bored." Maddie whispers and we laugh, "Poor girl."

All of us girls walk backstage with Asia before she enters the stage and we hug her. She goes onstage and starts dancing.Her dancing's much more, what can I say? Sassy. The dance. Her facial expressions. Kenzie's more like cute and Asia's more like sassy.

I decided to stay on the audience for today's awards. Asia placed first, the trio placed second and the group I think that it didn't even place.

Now with the CADC news, they won first with the duet and with the group, they even had a perfect score!

This is bad news for everyone.
