After almost two months, we were finally back to the world of Drama Moms. Did I miss it? Maybe. Do I actually do something in it? Fill a spot.

After the group rehearsal, I sat on a prop in the back of studio A as Chloe rehearsed her solo. Kenzie and Chloe have solos this week, Maddie was going to have one, but Miss Abby decided to not let her dance until she regains her confidence. There's also a trio, with Chloe, Brooke, and Paige. Nia only has the group dance and I only have a seat to fill.

Miss Abby told me that I was going to join the team this year, and I'm really excited! But also really bored.

"Finished for the day." I hear Miss Abby say as Chloe leaves to the Dancer's Den.

I quickly get off the prop and run after her. Once I got inside, Paige and Maddie were hanging out, so Chloe joins them as I put all of my stuff in my dance bag.

"Do you want to do your solo this week?" Paige asks Maddie.

"I don't know." Maddie answers, with a nervous tone in her voice, "What if I go on stage and forget again?"

"You're not going to, Mads." Chloe comforts Maddie.

"You get 'em, MadDog!" Paige exclaims, "You can crush the competition!"

"This is Chloe's week." Maddie says, "This is her time to go out there, win first and be on top."

"Aww, thank you Maddie!" Chloe hugs Maddie.

"And you, Melie?" Paige looks over to me, "Are you like me? Hoping to have another solo someday?"

In response, I nod.

"Miss Abby did say that you would join the team soon." Chloe tells me as I sit beside Paige, "Maybe in a couple of weeks."

"Or a month." Maddie corrects, "Don't wanna ruin the mood, but it could be a month."

"I just want to dance and win as many trophies and crowns as all of you." I tell them with a smile.

"You're going to." Maddie hugs me, "Who knows, you could even beat me."

"It's an awesome feeling." Chloe says, "You'll have your chance someday."

"Paige, we're leaving." We all hear Kelly say.

Paige takes her dance bag and runs out.

"Can we convince your mom to let you guys stay over today?" Chloe asks.

"It would be cool!" I smile.

"It would be awesome, but maybe next week." Maddie tells her, "You know that right now the moms are arguing about typical mom stuff."

"Yeah, we need to plan for next week, and tag Kenzie along." Chloe smiles as she takes her dance bag, "See you guys tomorrow."

"Bye!"

Chloe walks out of the Dancer's Den.

Next couple of days, solo rehearsals, group dance, trio, done. Solo rehearsals, group dance, trio, done. Today is a little bit different, today's competition day.

"All right, listen, guys. I need you to get fired up, you need to get out there. I think we have the chance." Miss Abby tells everyone, "I'm watching what's out there, now I could be wrong--"

I start brushing my hair as she keeps on talking like always. After that we all go sit in the audience.

"All right, put your hands together for 'Girls in the House'." The announcer says as the Paige, Chloe, and Brooke go on stage.

If what happened last week wasn't enough, Kenzie slips in the middle of the number, and forgets her solo. She walks off stage as Mommy rushes backstage. If both of my sisters already did it, will that happen to me too? After going backstage and stuff, we were back for the other solo.

"All right, coming at you next will be entry 167. Put your hands together for Maddie with 'In My Heart'."

Maddie stands up from beside me but Mommy holds her. I hold Maddie's hand as she cries.

"Let's move on to a new entry, up next is entry 177, put your hands together for Chloe with 'Keep Burning'."

Kenzie was tenth place, Chloe was fifth, the trio was third, and the group dance was also fifth. Miss Abby went crazy for the results, and that was the end of another competition day.
