"We're almost to the tomb of the first spinjitzu master." Zane stated, as they are sitting in Rex, underwater.

"Yeah. Can't believe we're almost there after all we've been through." Cole smiled.

"I can't believe I'm underwater." Kai said, slightly shaking.

"You? What about me? Just how thick is this glass?" Cole taps the glass a couple times.

"Thick enough. Or it would've already broken." Y/n replied, making the earth ninja whimper. "I-I didn't mean to scare you-"

"We're heading to your location now. With Morro already ahead of you and able to foresee the traps protecting the tomb with the Sword of sanctuary, it's going to be up to you five to find the realm crystal before he does." Sensei Wu told the ninja, appearing on a screen.

"Hehe, Cole's a Ghost, Kai can't swim, we have no magical sword or Elemental Powers. Only Y/n has." Jay laughs nervously. "What could go wrong?"

"I may not know the three tests you're about to face, but I discovered a riddle that makes reference to it that may help: "A Spinjitzu Master can. A Spinjitzu Master cannot. To move forward, don't look ahead, to find his resting spot."" Misako said, earning questionable looks.

"Huh. That's food for thought." Cole sighed.

Jay spots a levitathan and gulps. "Speaking of food, we're about to be some!"

"We have to go faster. Much faster." Kai shouted, as the Leviathan cracks Rex's glass. "Why did the tomb have to be underwater?" Kai cried out, whimpering.

"Hold on!" Cole shouted.

"Ugh! What kind of weapons is this thing equipped with?" Jay screamed, as the Levithan is chasing them.

"We don't need weapons. Aim for that rock!" Zane pointed at a rock.

"On it." Cole said, driving through the rock with a circle-hole in it. The Leviathan gets stuck.

"Yeah! All right! Thatta Boy, R.E.X.! Thatta boy!" Jay cheered, as they approached the tomb's entrance.

"If you wanna hide a tomb, this looks like a good place. We're here." Y/n said, jumping out of Rex.

Jay sees a cloth stuck on a branch, he picks it, noticing it's Morro's. "Argh! There goes any hope Morro couldn't find this place."

"Hey, stay positive. We're about to risk our lives going through traps we know nothing about. All we have to rely on is each other. At least feel luck we got this far." Kai replied, sighing.

"Oh, I'm sorry. You're right. What was I thinking? Hey, there goes any hope Morro couldn't find the tomb! We're not alone! Yay! Now we're gonna have to fight him again! Sure we got our tails handed to us last time, but you never know in the future, because Ninja never quit! Better?"

"Eh, I'll take it."

Zane points to a statue, "Look!"

"The First Spinjitzu Master." Cole said, amazed.

"Creator of all Ninjago." Y/n added.

"Whoa."

"Destination reached. Auto return initiated." Rex spoke, making the ninja gasp.

"Auto return? No, no! Bad, Rex! Bad!" Jay screamed, as they chase after Rex, but it submerges underwater.

"Our Aeroblade weapons were in there." Zane sighed.

"Ugh, not to mention our only way back." Kai added, his head hanging.

"Hey, stay positive! Who needs a way back when we gotta go that way?" Jay pointed at the entrance of the tomb.

"No sword, no powers, no problem. We can do this, guys. As long as we got each other, right?" Kai asked, smiling slightly.

"Brother sharpens brother." Cole replied.

"I feel left out. I have my powers and I'm a girl." Y/n sighed, following the boys into the tomb.

They walk into a room, with each door having a symbol above them.

Cole gasps as the door they used to get in closed, "This could be the first test."

"Ooh! Why did it have to be tests? Why can't the tomb just be protected by Dragons? We're good with Dragons." Jay cried out, annoying his teammates.

"I think we're supposed to pick a door, but which one?" Y/n asked, looking at each door.

"Um, what was it Misako said?" Jay questioned, turning to the nindroid.

"A Master can. A Spinjitzu Master cannot. To move forward, don't look ahead, to find his resting spot." Zane quoted.

"A Spinjitzu master can. Can what?" Kai looked around, analysing each symbol.

"Sixteen doors, for Sixteen Realms?"

"Well, could be. But let me guess, pick the wrong door and we'll be in a realm of hurt." Cole replied, clenching his fists.

"Oh, I wish we had the Sword right about now."

"We can figure this out. "A Master can." Can..." Kai thought out loud.

Jay pointed at a door, "The symbol above this door, it's a tornado. This could be the one, right?"

"That could be." Y/n shrugged, and Jay was about to open the door.

"Jay, wait!" Zane stopped the blue ninja.

"Picture recognition analyzing. Pattern discovered." Pixal told Zane.

"Step away from that door, Jay." He pulls him away.

"W-what is it?"

"We're inside a zoetrope." Zane answered the lightning ninja.

"A zoe-what?" Kai asked, confused.

"A zoetrope. The engravings in rapid succession creates a moving image."

"Uh, I don't get it."

""A Spinjitzu Master can." Do Spinjitzu!" Kai figured.

"Exactly." Zane does Spinjitzu. "He's creating some sort of shape." He stops and points to a door with the corresponding image. "That one. That's the door out."

"I don't know, Zane. Isn't that the same door we came in? Are you sure?" Cole asked, not wanting to end up in his so called 'realm of hurt.'

"Are you sure you want to doubt a Nindroid?" Zane asked, tilting his head.

"Open the door. Let's find out." Jay opens it and finds the second test.

"The staff of the first spinjitzu Master." Kai gasped, seeing the staff in an 'empty' room.

"Wait! This is the second test, remember? Zane, what do you think?" Cole asked, turning to the nindroid again.

"Pixal can see no pattern. For this riddle room, I'm at a loss."

"Think about it. The first test was a "A Spinjitzu Master can." So this one's "A Spinjitzu Master cannot." Though, saying it out loud, I don't like the sound of that." Jay whimpered.

"Hmm." Kai steps forwards, on a tile that activated a trap. "Uh-oh!" He yelled, as everyone dodged the wrecking ball.

"Is everyone okay?" Cole asked, turning to the others.

"Oh, that was a close one."

"Every step, uh, a trap."

"How does one reach the staff if it becomes more difficult with every step to get there? If I'm correct, this riddle room poses quite the conundrum."

"So if a Spinjitzu Master can't do it, how are we supposed to reach the staff?"

"Watch and learn." Kai answered Cole, and does Airjitzu, but activated another trap. "Huh? What-uh-oh!" He dodges it, but activates more traps in the process.

"No. Wait!"

"Not that one!"

"Just stop!"

"Kai! Stop moving!"

Jay accidentally stepped back and stepped on another tile that activated a trap.

"Oh, no!" The wrecking ball returns, with Jay, Kai, Zane and Y/n jumping out of the way.

"Come on! I can make it!"

Cole gets hit, but was unaffected. "Wait, I'm a ghost. What am I worried about?" The wrecking ball pushes a button and water starts leaking out. "That! That, I can worry about!" Cole yelled, joining the others.

"I can make it." Kai muttered, ready to move again.

"Kai!"

"No!"

"Will everyone please stop moving!?" Jay screamed out, as the room hardly has any tiles left.

After no more traps are active, the Ninja are each standing on their own tiles.

"I can make it. It's just a hop, skip, and a jump." Kai uses Airjitzu, but the tiles fall under him, making him crawl back.

"But what else comes with a hop, skip, and a jump? You trigger one more trap, I don't know how much more we can take." Cole retorted.

"The clue clearly said this is a test a Spinjitzu Master cannot do. So why are we not listening to the clue!?" Jay cried out, for like the fifth time.

"Trust me, I can make it." Kai tried to reassure the others.

"Yeah, you've said that a million times by now. But still you didn't make it!" Y/n shouted, the family Walker genes getting the best of her. Even though she's not a real Walker.

"That's a first." Jay chuckled.

"What?" Kai asked, looking at Y/n.

"My sister freaking out." Jay grinned, before laughing.

"Wait. What is it's a trick? What if the reason we can't do it is because we were never meant to reach the staff? What is the first rule of being a Ninja?" Cole asked, ignoring the conversation of the three.

"A Ninja never quits."

Cole turned to the nindroid, "Exactly, and that's why we can't do it. Because a Ninja would never give up."

"What are you trying to say? We just quit? Are you insane?" Kai retorted, annoyed.

"This time, trust me." Cole jumps off the tile, falling into the black void.

"Cole!"

"Whoo-hoo! Haha! Come on down and enjoy the ride!"

"He's alive!" The Ninja jump down and falls down on a slide.

"Seriously? Try to stay together!"

"Stay together? I'm just trying to stay in one piece! Aah!"

"No!" Cole screamed as they each got into their own slide.

Kai slowed down, just as he was in a looping. "Oh, great. Aah!" He lands on top of Y/n, "Sorry." He muttered, trying to get off her as they continued sliding.

Cole, in a slide next to them, was screaming and got launched onto the one where Y/n and Kai were. He landed on top of them as well, making Y/n use her powers to get rid of the weight of the two.

Jay bumps into Kai and Cole, so does Zane.

The Ninja grab on to an ice stalagmite, but slowly slide off.

"No, no! Aah!" Zane falls, followed by Jay and Kai.

"Uh-oh. Aah!" Y/n falls, with Cole doing the same.

"Oh, no!" kai accidentally grabs two icicles. "Huh?" He sees Jay using them as skis.

"Whoo-hoo! I love skiing! Haha!" Jay cheered, and Kai does the same. "Yeah!"

"All right!" Cole said, as he, Zane and Y/n were still just sliding. Suddenly, they got launched into the air and they fall through a wall, leading them to the third test.

"Is everyone okay?" Zane asked.

"Depends, what are you talking about? My mental health, my physical health-" Y/n sighed.

"What did we get ourselves into?" Kai asked, and Jay climbs up a wall.

"Oh, it's a maze! We're great at mazes! Right, sis!" Jay exclaimed, sliding off the wall and rejoining the others.

Kai looks at his reflection, and notices he looks older. "Huh! Whoa! If my reflection means anything, I'm starting to think we won't be breaking out of this maze any time at all."

"My reflection. Is that...me? I look older, but our attire is different. I don't believe these reflections reveal our inability to escape, but a mere glimpse of our future selves." Zane said, seeing himself in a pirate suit.

Y/n looked at her reflection, seeing herself, but older and also wearing a pirate outfit. She tilted her head, suddenly seeing him walking up to her. She gasped, as the reflection showed him again, now smiling.

"Misako said "To move forward, don't look ahead." Is that what it means? Wait a minute, why is it I can't see my reflection? Where is my reflection!?" Cole yelled.

"It's probably because you're a Ghost." Kai said, as Cole walked up to him.

"Ghosts cast reflections, Kai. He's probably just looking in the wrong place." Zane replied, as Cole tried to see something.

"I am looking at the same place you are." Cole retorted, "Wait a minute... I think I see someth- Y/n?" He gasped. In his reflection, he sees Y/n, but only her. He still doesn't see himself. It's like she, Y/n in Cole's reflection, sees a invisible Cole next to her.

"What?" She asked, turning to Cake Boi.

"N-nevermind.."

"Hey, guys, guess what. I get an awesome eyepatch! And there's something else." Jay exclaimed, but gasps when he sees Nya.

"What do you see?" Y/n asked, turning to her brother.

Jay muttered something to himself, before turning to his sister, "N-nothing. Just an eyepatch."

"Wait a minute, I think I see me." Cole takes a closer look, but it's not him. "It's Morro! He's in the maze too!" Morro suddenly slashed the sword of sanctuary through the ice, revealing himself.

"All you Ninja do is talk. Blah, blah, blah. I'll stop you from talking!" He swings his sword at Jay.

The blue ninja runs away, screaming. "Aah! He's attacking an unarmed man!"

"We're coming for you!" Kai shouted, with Zane behind him.

Morro cornered Jay, but Zane came just in time to tackle ghost boi. Jay took this as a chance to grab a icicle, fighting Morro, who still had Zane on his back.

"Zane's here, but Cole, Y/n! Where are you two?" Jay asked, still fighting Morro.

Cole and Y/n were standing behind another wall, "We don't really know. But we're coming!" Cole said, running through the wall. "Huh, why didn't I do that sooner?" He asked himself, then he realised Y/n was still behind it. He ran back, but then he realised Y/n can't walk through walls.

"Can you like, run around this wall?" He asked, smiling sheepishly.

"I'll fly over it." She replied, doing Airjitzu and reaching the other side of the wall.

Cole tripped over his own feet and slides through the wall, hitting Morro in the progress. Morro tried to hit the earth ninja, but he blocked it by using an icicle. Morro grunted as he looked into the sword of sanctuary, seeing Jay throw an icicle at him. He ducked, making the blue ninja miss and hit Cole instead.

Morro and Jay fought for a few seconds, and Morro got Jay pinned to the ground. Just as he was about to swing it at Jay, Y/n used her powers and made Morro fly across the corridor. Zane heatbutted Morro, sending him to the ground. Ghost boi then went to hit Zane, but Y/n blocked it, using an icicle.

He grunted as they started to fight each other, Morro with the sword of sanctuary and Y/n with an icicle. Soon, Jay and Cole joined, eventually Zane as well. Kai managed to find his friends, looking at them, breaking the icicles that were stuck in the ground. Each time one got broken, two came in it's place.

Morro used wind to blow Jay, Zane and Cole away, but Y/n managed to stay in place.

"What happened to "I won't hurt you?"" Y/n asked Morro, as their weapons collided.

"You attacked me first." He growled, just as Kai charged at him.

"Yeah, but that's what happens when you attack her friends." He smirked, taunting the ghost who was possessing Lloyd. "Huh. Come on! Catch me if you can!" He leads Morro to a pile of icicles and traps him.

"No! You can't trap me. I'll find you, Ninja. Just wait, you'll see!" Morro shouted, as the ninja make their way out of there, well, are trying to.

"Quick, how do we get out of here?" Jay tried to brainstorm, but tripped.

"To move forward, don't look ahead." Cole muttered.

"Don't look ahead. Look below!" Jay exclaimed.

"There's light. Everyone, dig!" Kai said, and they start digging, eventually they fall down.

"Ow! What? What is it?" Jay asked, curiosity getting the best of him.

"It's him. The First Spinjitzu Master." Y/n panted, and they all bow down in honor.

"The Realm Crystal." Zane said, grabbing it.

"How does it work?" Kai asked.

"How it works is you'll hand over the Crystal, or say goodbye to your friend." Morro demanded, holding a weak Lloyd.

"I'm sorry. I couldn't stop him." Lloyd weakly spoke, panting.

"So what'll it be?" Morro smirked.

"If we hand him the Crystal, he'll usher the reign of his master, cursing Ninjago and every realm." Zane muttered, thinking out loud.

"But if we don't, when has he never made good on a threat? Look at Lloyd. He's too weak to protect himself." Cole replied, looking over at the weak green ninja.

"Ugh, either option totally stinks. What do you think, Kai? What do we do?" Jay asked, as Zane handed the realm crystal to Kai.

"Looks like the decision is up to you, Kai. So choose." Morro grinned, holding Lloyd thightly.

"Stop stalling! Give me the Realm Crystal, or else!"

"Or else what!?" Y/n growled at Morro. She can't believe she ever trusted him. He hurted Lloyd. He hurted Jay. He hurted Cole, Kai, Zane, Nya anyone she knows.

"We're not stalling! We're thinking!" Kai shouted, and motioned to huddle together. "He's totally right, I'm stalling. What are we gonna do?"

"Ugh, this guy really chaps my hide. I swear, when this is all over..." Cole started to mutter, his anger made the ground tremble a bit.

"Our powers. Now that Morro's out of Lloyd's body, they're starting to come back." Kai said, litting up his hand.

"Yeah, but like Lloyd, they're weak. And we're in no position to fight back." Jay retorted.

"Leave that to me. Be ready." Kai replied to Jay.

"Times up! You leave me no choice." Morro shouted.

"Wait! We'll give you the Realm Crystal!" Kai yelled, throwing the realm Crystal to Morro.

Morro catched it, but immediately drops it when it burns. Kai secretly heated the Crystal.

"The Crystal! What have you done!?" Morro asked, as Lloyd attacks him. Morro doesn't hesitate at all and uses his powers to push Lloyd into the stream.

"Lloyd!"

Kai, Y/n and Cole run after Lloyd, who got pulled along the stream.

"I can't get to him. I can't swim!" Kai screamed, as Lloyd was gagging from the water he swallowed.

"You can't swim? I can't touch the water! I'm a Ghost, remember? You at least had a reflection! What happens to me?" Cole yelled back, annoyed. Y/n was about to say she saw him in her reflection, but decided to dismiss it. Lloyd needs to be saved.

"He's gonna drown!" Y/n shouted, trying to keep up with the green ninja, who went with full speed along the stream.

"Ugh, this is crazy. What am I doing?" Kai dives in and grabs Lloyd.

"Oh, no. Kai's got Lloyd, but who's got Kai?" Jay yelled.

"Oh, come on." Cole muttered, trying to keep up with Y/n, Kai and Lloyd.

Y/n tried to take them several times, but Kai missed each time.

"You have to grab them, Y/n! Before they both go over!" Zane shouted.

The two in the water continue reaching Y/n's hand, but still didn't reach it.

Just when they were about to fall over, Y/n used her powers to lift them, reaching the surface. Kai and Lloyd both coughed, as Cole saw the realm crystal falling down.

"No! Huh?" He looked to his left, seeing the purple ninja using her powers to grab the crystal, but instead of flying into her hands, it fly's right into Morro's hands. The ghost laughed, before leaving.

They reached the exit of the tombe, with Lloyd limping with them. "You all sacrificed so much to save me." He muttered, still having a weak voice.

"Heh, we promised to look after you, didn't we?" Kai replied, motioning to himself and Y/n.

"But now Ninjago's gonna be cursed." Lloyd coughed, making the others turn their head to him.

"Yes, but now we have you." Y/n smiled.

"And now our powers are back." Jay added.

"As you get strong, so will we. And they haven't even seen us at full strength." Cole pointed out, smiling.
