Tons of snuggles and extra affection

Encourages you to come with him out and about just for the fresh air and move around a bit

Doesn't force any of the holiday things on you

Happy to curl up with you on the couch in the evenings

Candles around the house with calming, pleasant scents

He's always nearby and when he's around you, he's always touching you in some way

Asks you on occasion how you're doing or if there's anything he can improve on to make the time better for you, just in case

Completely understands the situation

Constant affection

Tries to help you look on the brighter side of things but doesn't bother you if you're really not feeling it

Has you meditate with him to both get you outside for a bit and to hopefully lighten your energies a bit

Encourages a bit of holiday fun to hopefully brighten your mood a bit but, again, doesn't push if you're not comfortable with it

Tries to make you laugh or smile at all costs

Settles down with you and helps you talk things out to not keep things inside

Even a bigger cuddly dork than he normally is because he knows you need it most right now

Jokes around and does stupid stuff a lot to get you to laugh

When you're feeling particularly down, he'll wrap you in his serape and practically shield you from the rest of the world with his big body

Dotes on you 24/7

Always asking to make sure things are going okay

If he's going out to get groceries or pick up something, he has you come with so you're not totally shutting yourself out from everything

Has you join in in some of his dorky festivities in hopes of getting you to feel better

Will sit down with you and just listen to you talk about your deceased family for hours

Will share some of his own stories so you don't feel quite so alone on the subject
