Kagami was excited to be back in America and also to have you come with him this time. You had been so happy when he asked you to come, wanting to see the difference between Japanese and American customs and try the food, which Kagami had told you was awesome.

It had been your second day in America so far, and you were having nothing short of a great time. You had also met Kagami's parents, which was a special moment for the both of you.

So now, the two of you were walking down the streets of LA, Kagami showing you some of his favorite places around the city. There was somewhere he had been particularly excited to show you, but he said he was saving it for the end of the day.

It was almost dark when Kagami took you to the last place. It was the basketball court he had started playing ball on, where it all started. He seemed so happy to see it again. Upon approaching the court, you noticed there were some guys playing. Of course Kagami immediately ran over, asking if they needed another player.

"Hey, I'm gonna play for a while. You think you can handle yourself?" he asked you through the fence.

You just laughed, nodding, "I'll be fine Tai-kun. Go have fun."

He smiled that signature big smile before running off to play. You sat down on the bench outside the court and watched him play. You hadn't noticed some guys walking your way until one of them spoke.

"Hey baby, what's a cute little girl like you doing out here alone?"

You look up, seeing 3 guys standing in front of you. They weren't quite as big as Kagami, but still too large for you to stand up against. You hadn't understood what the man in the middle had said due to your lack of English. You had learned a little bit from Kagami, but not enough to understand a full sentence like that.

"Nani?"

They all looked at each other, then back at you. They grinned in unison.

"A foreigner, huh?"

One of them came closer, placing his hand on your leg. You yelped a little and looked toward the court in hopes your tiger in shining armor would come.

"Hm, I've always wanted to fuc-"

Suddenly one of the guys was on the ground, and another was sent flying. Before you could even comprehend what was happening, Kagami had taken them all down.

"Touch my girl again and I'll tear you to fucking shreds."

You didn't know what he had said, but you could tell he was pissed. His anger seemed to die down as he looked at you with a worried look. He sat down beside of you, taking your hand in his.

"Are you alright? Did they hurt you?"

You shook your head, "No, I'm alright. Thanks for saving me though, Taiga."

He looked away, blushing. He scratched the back of his head nervously.

"You wouldn't have needed saving if I wouldn't have left you alone. Sorry."

You just giggled, snaking your arms around his waist. That was your silent way of saying it was fine and he appreciated it deeply, whether you had said it aloud or not. You stayed like that for a moment before Kagami's stomach grumbled loudly causing you to laugh.

"You want to go grab some food from..uh..erm..Mac..McDonalds?"

He laughed at your attempt to pronounce the restaurant name before placing a kiss on your head.

"Yeah, let's go."
