Akashi Seijuro (continued)

NOTICE: If you haven't read the first part, I would strongly suggest doing so.

-----------------------

It has been 5 years since you last seen Akashi. You missed him horribly, but you knew you would see him again. Today actually. Today was the day Akashi was coming home.

You decided to get up after a few minutes of lying in your bed and thinking about Akashi's arrival. You were excited, yes, but you were also worried.

"What if he doesn't love me anymore? What if he doesn't even remember me?" you spoke aloud. You sighed, running a hand through your tangled hair.

"No, this is bad thinking (Y/N). I just need to think happy thoughts. Everything is going to be okay."

You rummaged through your closet to find an outfit for today. After a while of searching, you finally found the perfect outfit. It was a long (F/C) dress and ballet flats.

You laid the outfit out on your bed before going to get in the shower. While you were in the shower, you heard your phone go off.

You stepped out for a moment to check it. You figured it was just your friend, but it was Akashi.

From: Akashi:
I'm looking forward to our little reunion later. I love you, (Y/N).

You couldn't help but smile at the message. Even if you couldn't see him at the moment, you could just imagine him with that triumphant smirk on his face that was always there.

To Akashi:
Me too. I can't wait to see you again. I love you too, Sei.

Forgetting all about your shower, you hurried into your room to get dressed. The only thing you could think of at the moment was seeing Akashi again.

You wanted to be able to feel his touch again, so bad you would die for it. After all these years, you still couldn't deny that he was the only man for you.

You looked in the mirror, looking over yourself. As you turned from side to side, you noticed something shimmering on your desk. You walked over to he object and picked it up, examining it.

It was a promise ring that Akashi had given you back when you were both in Rakuzan. You smiled as memories began to play through your head.

The ring contained your birthstone and also had your initials as well as Akashi engraved on it. You decided to wear the ring.

Slipping on the ring, you walked back to the mirror, looking over yourself one last time. You gave yourself a thumbs up before grabbing your small bag and heading towards your door.

You walked out of your apartment just in time to see a limousine pull up outside. A man stepped out of the drivers seat, and gestured to you.

"Are you Miss (L/N)?"

You smiled at the man and nodded, "Yes, I am."

"Ah, right this way then Miss (L/N)."

You slowly stepped into the limousine, picking up your dress as you sat down. You took a deep breath as you looked around. Being in the limousine gave you nostalgic feelings.

You spotted a remote on the seat beside of you and decided to see what it did. You pressed one of the buttons, which made a screen come down from the ceiling.

You watched as pictures began to appear on the screen, creating a slideshow. The pictures were of you and Akashi over the years.

You were so caught up in the slideshow, that you hadn't realized you were already at Akashi's.

"Miss (L/N), I hate to interrupt, but we're here."

You turned and looked at the chauffeur, chuckling a bit. "Oh, heh, I'm sorry. Thank you for the ride."

You carefully steppe out of the limousine and began to walk up the path to the Akashi mansion.

"Ah, hello Miss (L/N). It's good to see you again."

You smiled at the small, older lady holding the door for you, "And you as well."

"I assume you are here for Master Seijuro, correct?"

You nodded, "I am."

The lady smiled at you, "Very well then. We mustn't keep Master Seijuro waiting then. Come."

You followed her as she traveled around the mansion with ease. Sure, you had been here various times, but you still didn't know your way around.

"Here we are, Miss (L/N)."

You smiled at her one last time before opening the door before you.

As soon as you opened the door, there stood Akashi. You ran to him, basically tackling him into a hug.

"Sei! I missed you so much!"

You felt Akashi's arms tighten around you. "I missed you as well. I hope things weren't too hard without me."

Just as you were about to speak, the door opened. You turned to see what it was, but there was no one.

As you turned back around, Akashi was down on one knee, holding open a velvet box that contained a beautiful ring.

"During the five years I was away, I realized what an impact you've had on my life and just how important you truly are to me. I cannot live without you, my empress. (F/N) (L/N), will you marry me?"
