You loved days like this. It was almost as if the weather spoke to you. The dark clouds full of meaning, the wind singing its special song. This was something Kagami never understood about you. You would rather sit inside on a sunny day and be outside when it rained.

It was one of the many things about you that both confused and intrigued Kagami. It was also something about you that caused him much trouble. Like now, during the rainy months, you loved to go and play in the rain or sit outside before the storm came.

This, however, caused you to get sick more often than others. Kagami had warned you before you went out to wear a coat, but you simply ignored him. Now, you were really wishing you had listened.

You groaned as you rolled around in the floor beside of your bed. Sometime during the night you had fallen out of bed and you were too weak to pick yourself up.

You had a splitting headache and your whole body ached. You crawled over to your bedside table and grabbed your phone to call Kagami.

The phone rang for a few seconds before a sleepy voice answered the phone.

"Mm..(Y/N)? Do you know what time it is? Is everything alright?"

You couldn't help but smile weakly at how cute he sounded. You quietly replied, "Uh, not really. Liste-" You were cut off by the sound of Kagami's voice.

"Wait, are you sick?"

You sighed, coughing a little, "Yeah."

"Alright, I'll be there in a little bit."

Before you could say anything, Kagami had hung up. You laid your phone back down then you laid on the floor. The cold floor was surprisingly very soothing considering your fever, although it was uncomfortable. You stayed there for some time, eventually falling asleep, before Kagami arrived.

When he opened the door, there was no sign of you. He decided to check your room, cause duh. There he found you on the floor. He shook his head before going over to you. He scooped you up in his arms and placed you back on your bed.

You instinctively reached out and grabbed his shirt. Kagami spun around to see you with a sad looking expression. He sighed, "What is it, (Y/N)?"

You groaned, pulling at his shirt, "Stay with me."

He leaned down closer to you, looking at you closely. You whined a little causing him jump back. Eventually, he ended up lying down with you. He did manage to keep his distance though. He really couldn't afford to get sick. Riko would have his ass if he did. After you had fallen back asleep, Kagami slipped away to go get you some medicine and cook breakfast.

You woke up to the smell of eggs and bacon. Slowly getting up from the bed, you trudged into the kitchen to see Kagami standing over the stove, mixing something. You crept up behind him, wrapping your arms around him. He jumped slightly at this.

"Whatever you're cooking, it smells great." You took a deep breath, taking in all the amazing smells.

He chuckled, spinning around to face you. "Thanks. You should really go take a shower, you know. It'll help."

You groaned at his response. You barely wanted to move so taking a shower was really not on your to do list right now. All you really wanted to do was eat and sleep. "Or you can feed me, then I can go back to sleep."

Kagami shook his head, pointing to the bathroom. He then turned back around giving his attention to your breakfast instead of you. You made a wailing noise that sounded somewhat like a whale.

"Taigaaaaa, I'm tired. C-carry meee."

You heard him sigh, but he turned around and picked you up. He began walking to the bathroom as you snuggled up to his chest. You felt warm and safe there in his embrace. Somehow you managed to fall asleep during the ten second walk from the kitchen to the bathroom. You did say you were tired.

Kagami decided that making you shower was probably not a good idea seeing as you'd probably fall asleep and fall in the process. So instead, he placed you on the couch and went to finish breakfast.

When you woke up, you saw Kagami squatting in front of you with a bottle and a spoon.

"Fuck n-no, Taiga. I'm not taking that s-stuff. Its gross."

Kagami stared at you intensely and you did just the same. You knew he wouldn't let up, being the stubborn man he is, but you weren't about to give in so easily.

"(Y/N), you have to take it. I know its gross, but you'll feel better."

You shook your head, not giving up. "N-no! I refuse.."

"You won't get better if you do-"

"No. no. no."

"Just take the damn medicine!"

"Don't yell at me when I'm s-sick! Bakagami..."

You curled up on the couch and began to pout. You knew you were acting like a child, but that medicine really was awful.

"You know whats gonna happen if you don't take this, right?"

Kagami shook the bottle in front of you as you just stared at him.

"You won't get better and you won't be able to go to America with me next week."

You sat up, glaring at him. You snatched the bottle out of his hands and took a swig from it, not even bothering with the spoon he had. Once you had the lid back on the bottle you threw it at Kagami before curling back into your little ball.

"There. You happy now? My tastebuds are dying."

He chuckled before patting your head and sitting beside of you.

"You're so dramatic."

"Like you're one to talk, Bakagami."

"Oi, don't call me that!"
