Aziraphale had called Bella and Adam, who somehow were able to make it back home safely amidst all of the chaos. They arrived at South Downs in a timely manner and were ushered in by Aziraphale who took them into the living room and filled them in on everything they had missed.

Both Adam and Bella were devastated at the news of Eden's death, but Bella was willing to help anyway she could, especially because there was a chance to bring her back.

Adam stayed downstairs with Dog, while Aziraphale led Bella upstairs to Eden's bedroom. Bella broke into tears at the sight of her best friend, her surrogate sister lying still in her bed.

She saw Crowley sitting in a chair at the side of the bed and Bella ran to him, yanking the demon into a fierce hug. "I'm so sorry Crowley..."

For the first time in her life, she heard Crowley's voice crack. "We'll get her back Bella...I swear it."

When they broke apart Bella noticed that someone else was in the room with them. He was tall, with dark hair, and unusual purple eyes.

That must be the Archangel Gabriel Aziraphale told her about.

Aziraphale entered the room and said, "We don't know how long we'll be gone, Eden could be anywhere in Purgatory..." Aziraphale's voice broke. He couldn't bear the thought of his Little One all alone in such a terrible place.

Bella took a breath and said, "I'll do what I can for her...." Bella trailed off as she approached Eden's tattered wing. She felt fresh tears sting her eyes at the sight of the gash in her friend's wing. When her gaze traveled to the deep cut in Eden's face, she heard Aziraphale ask, "Would you like some assistance before we leave?"

Bella shook her head. "No, Adam has my medical bag. It has everything I need, he'll help me if I need it."
