They landed at the top of Stark Tower and Athena got out of the jet. Athena walked over to where she saw Dr. Selvig and Loki, but she couldn't see Tony anywhere.

Seconds later, Tony landed and his machine started taking off his suit. Athena followed Tony into the tower and she walked over to one of the bar stools. "Hello, Agent Brown," Tony said as he went behind the bar. Loki followed him in. "Please tell me you're going to appeal to my humanity," Loki said.

"Actually I plan on threatening you," Tony said.

"You should have left your armor on for that," Loki said and Athena rolled her eyes. "That's why I have her," Tony said while pointing to Athena. Loki looked over at her, then back at Tony. "You've got the glow stick of destiny and I have a teenage girl who can move things with her mind," Tony said as he dumped himself a drink.

"Oh and I don't think I mentioned that she's very pissed off at you," Tony said and he looked at Loki. "Would you like a drink?" Tony asked while walking around the bar. "Stalking me won't change anything," Loki said.

"No, no threatening. No drink? Are you sure? I'm having one," Tony said.

"The Chitauri are coming. Nothing will change that. What have I to fear?" Loki asked.

"The Avengers. You know, a group of remarkable people that can beat your ass," Athena said with a smug smile. "Let's do a headcount. Your brother, a demigod. A super soldier, a living legend who kind of lives up to the legend, and a man with breath-taking anger management issues and a couple of master assassins, and you, big fella managed to piss off every single one of them," Tony said.

"That was the plan," Loki said.

"Not a very good plan," Athena said.

"When they come and trust me, they will. They will be coming for you," Tony said.

"I have an army," Loki said.

"We have a Hulk," Tony said.

"Oh, I thought the beast wandered off," Loki joked.

"You're missing the point. There is no throne. There is no version of this where you come out on top. Maybe your army comes and maybe it's too much for us, but it's all on you. Because if we can't protect the Earth, you can be damn well sure we'll avenge it," Tony said.

"How will your friends have time for me when they are busy fighting you?" Loki asked as he poked Tony with the scepter and Athena stifled a laugh. "Performance issues. It's very common," Tony said and Loki grabbed Tony's throat and threw him across the room. Athena stood up and she barely dodged Loki's try to brainwash her.

"Jarvis! Anytime now!" Tony said as he tried to stand up. Loki walked over to Tony and grabbed his throat again. Athena looked around the room for anything she could use to help. She grabbed a kitchen knife and walked closer to ensure that she would hit him, she threw the knife at Loki, but he somehow dodged it.

"Agent Brown, don't!" Tony yelled, but Athena ignored him. She used her powers to remove the scepter from his hand. Loki grabbed the scepter and hit Athena with it. She fell to the floor, and Loki picked up Tony and threw him out the window. "Deploy!" Tony yelled and Athena saw a red thing fly out of the wall, almost hitting Loki in the face.

Tony flew up to the broken window. "You also pissed off one last person, his name was Phil," Tony said then shot his blasters at Loki. He flew back and almost hit Athena. She stood and ran outside. She stopped when she saw the portal from her vision opening. "Oh, no," Athena said.

A bunch of aliens came out of the portal. She watched as Tony went into the army of aliens and started shooting at them. Athena watched as some sort of carriage thing flew past her. Athena jumped onto it and knocked the alien off of it. She flew the carriage thing to the ground and she got off and saw the jet in the sky.

"I'm on the ground," Athena said into the earpiece. "We will be there soon," Clint said then she saw the jet fly down and land. The hatch opened and Steve, Clint, and Natasha stepped out. "We gotta get back up there," Steve said running down the street with Clint, Natasha, and Athena following behind. They stopped in front of a destroyed building and looked up and heard a loud roar coming from the portal.

After the roar, a huge snake-looking thing came out. Athena was shocked at what she was seeing. It was hard to believe that this was actually happening. "Holy shit," Athena said and the snake flew right down by them and flew further into the city. They looked around. "Stark, are you seeing this?" Steve asked.

"Seeing. Still working on believing. Where's Banner? Had he shown up yet?" Tony asked.

"Banner?" Steve asked.

"Just keep me posted," Tony said, Steve turned towards the group. "We need to take all of them out that are on the ground," Steve said.

"Take cover," He said then one of them came by on one of those carriage things. "We've got civilians still trapped up here," Clint said.

"Loki," Steve said when the carriages went by. There were explosions and fire everywhere. Athena saw a couple of Chitauri coming towards them. Athena took out her gun and started to shoot at them. When they got closer, Athena started to give up and lifted a concrete beam and threw it at the group of Chitauri.

"You think you guys can hold them off?" Steve asked.

"Yes," Natasha said.

"I'm coming with," Athena said to Steve and followed him off the bridge.

They ran over to the police officers. Steve walked up to a car while Athena stayed on the ground. "You need men in these buildings. There are people inside and they might be in danger. You take them to the basement or through the subway. Just keep them off the streets. I need a perimeter as far back as 39th," Steve ordered.

"Why should we take orders from you?" The police officer asked and Athena gave them a weird look then she looked behind them. Athena used her powers to pick up a piece of concrete and threw it towards the group of Chitauri, then Steve joined me.

After they were done with that group of Chitauri, they turned back to the police officers and they started to bark the orders Steve gave them to the other officers.
