Athena fell quickly toward the ground. As she got closer she used her powers to slow her fall. "Where is the Tesseract?" Thor asked.

"I missed you, too," Loki said.

"Do I look to be in the gaming mood?" Thor asked and Athena put an arrow into her bow and pulled it back. "Sorry, Thor. He needs to come with me," Athena said right as Iron Man and Captain America walked up to Athena. Thor turned to Athena. "What do you think that's going to do?" Thor asked.

"Nothing, but it's worth a shot," Athena said and she lowered her now as Stark started to walk towards Thor and Loki. "This is going to be interesting," Athena said.

"I thought you were dead," Thor said and picked Loki up by the throat. "Did you mourn?" Loki asked.

"We all did," Thor said.

"Your father, he did tell you my true parentage did he not," Loki said.

"We were raised together, we played together, we fought together," Thor said, and Athena started to plan out how she could talk Thor into handing Loki over. The arguing continued and Athena decided to say something. "Thor, we are taking him," Athena said as sternly as she could.

"No," Thor said and Iron Man leaped at him and pushed him off the cliff. "He's so dramatic," Athena commented as she walked towards the cliff. Then she heard fighting from below. "Rogers, give me your shield," Athena said.

"Why?" Steve asked.

"Just give it to me," Athena said and he handed his shield over to her. She threw it down at the two and then caught it when it came back at her. She handed the shield back to Captain America and he jumped down when he realized what happened.

"Now, I don't know what you plan on doing here," Rogers started.

"I have come here to put an end to Loki's schemes," Thor yelled.

"Then prove it. Put that hammer down," Rogers said.

"Uh yeah, no. Bad call. He loves his hammer," Stark said.

"Or does he just like hitting you with it," Athena passed.

"Ouch, Agent Brown," he said sarcastically, then Thor threw his hammer at Iron Man. "You want me to put the hammer down?" Thor asked as his hammer came back at him. Then Thor threw the hammer at Captain America's shield making an explosion. Athena flew back and her head connected with a tree. Her vision started to go blurry.

Athena shakily pushed herself up from the ground and touched her head. "Are you okay?" She heard someone ask. She couldn't tell who it was. "Yeah, all good," Athena said and she pulled her hand back and looked at it. There was blood on her fingertips.

Athena walked over to where Stark and Rogers were. "Are we done here?" Captain America asked, and her vision began to go out. "Shit," Athena said under her breath. Then she lost consciousness.

Athena woke up in a white room with her head pounding. "Good. You're awake," she heard someone say, she looked over at where the voice came from and saw Agent Coulson. "You have a concussion. You also cut your head on the tree you flew into," he said.

"Oh, ok," Athena said.

"You need to get your rest," Agent Coulson said and he turned off the lights and walked out of the room. Athena fell asleep soon after the lights were turned off.

9 Hours Later

Athena was finally released from the hospital wing and walked into the conference room where Natasha, Bruce, and Steve were. Athena sat down by Natasha and looked at the footage she had up. "Aren't you supposed to be on medical watch?" Natasha asked.

"Yes," Athena said and she continued to look at the footage. Natasha gave her a skeptical look. "I'm fine, Nat," Athena said.

"What's going on with him?" Athena asked as she watched Loki on the security footage. "He's not happy. So, Thor, what's his play?" Steve asked, which caused Athena to realize that Thor was in the room.

"He has an army called the Chitauri," Thor said, and then Athena sat back and listened. "So, he's building another portal that's why he needs Erik Selvig. He's an Astrophysicist," Bruce said.

"He is a friend," Thor said.

"Loki has him under some sort of spell," Natasha stated.

"Along with one of ours," Athena said.

"I want to know why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here," Steve said.

"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki, that guy's brain is a bag full of cats. You can smell the crazy off of him," Bruce said.

"Have care with how you speak. He is my brother and an Asgardian," Thor said.

"He killed 80 people in two days," Natasha started.

"He's adopted," Thor said and Athena tried to not laugh. "I think it's about the mechanics. Iridium, what do they need Iridium for?" Bruce asked.

"It is a stabilizing agent," Tony said and walked in with Agent Coulson. "It means the portal won't collapse on itself like it did at Shield. No hard feelings, Point Break. You've got a mean swing," Tony continued.

Athena stood up and walked out of the room. There was nothing she could do there and she had other things she needed to get done. She walked into her room and started her homework. She hated the fact that she had to do homework when she could've been doing things that could help the case.

After a while, Athena left her room and walked toward Bruce's lab. She could hear Tony and Steve arguing. Athena walked into the lab and over to the spear where everybody was. "Even if Barton didn't tell Loki about the tower, it was still on the news," Bruce said.

"The stark tower? That big, ugly building in New York?" Steve asked.

"It is powered by a self-sustaining energy source. That building would run itself for what a year?" Bruce said.

"It's just a prototype," Tony said.

"I'm kinda the only source of clean energy is what he is getting at," Tony said and Athena stared at the staff as they continued their conversation. At first, Athena was confused by what was going on, but she soon figured out that Tony hacked into Shield to read their files.

"I think Loki is trying to wind us up. This is the man who needs to start a war. If we don't try to focus he'll succeed. We have orders, we should follow them" Steve said.

"Following isn't really my style," Tony said.

"And you're all about style, aren't you?" Steve said.

"Of the people in this room, A. which one of us is wearing a spangly outfit, and B. Not of use." Tony said.

"Steve, tell me none of this smells a little funky to you" Bruce added.

"Just find the cube," Steve said and left. "Come get me when you find something," Athena said and she walked out of the lab.
