There's hope waiting
for you in
the dark.

T H E CAR RIDE WAS AWKWARD. EDEN WAS CLUELESS ONTO WHERE THEY WERE GOING BUT SHE DIDN'T DARE TO say anything, even though she may be risking her own life because of Bella, the girl was on a mission and who is she to interrupt her? Although If something bad was going to happen to Bella and Eden didn't stop it then Edward would throw her back in that place, so maybe she should say something but before she could, Bella began to park.

She turned and faced Eden, giving her a small nervous smile, and Eden returned her smile with scowl. Bella let out a nervous laugh before exiting the red old truck, Eden soon following after her as she mumbled colourful words, which Bella purposely ignored. After Bella's episode last night, the were-coyote didn't get much sleep and she was too worried for Bella to fall asleep in the car.

Eden noticed the moon eerily illuminates the clearing, slowly effecting her as her once brown eyes glowed in a bright blue colour. Noises from the forest also surrounded also the two girls. She moved closer towards Bella and ignored the itch to shift, it wasn't the time she remind herself.

The two continued to walk before hearing a rustle behind the trees. Spooked, Bella froze but Eden just growled, moving closer towards Bella. By now their arms were touching and Eden could hear Bella nervously breath. Jacob soon emerged from the trees. His brown doe eyes immediately laid on Eden's form.

Four guys soon stepped into the clearing, half-clothes, Eden recognised them as the same guys from the time Bella confronted Jacob for ignoring her. Their movements were almost synchronised and their relaxed expressions simultaneously turn into fury once they saw Bella and Eden. This made Eden harden her gaze when she noticed one of the boys eyeing the girls in anger before turning to Jacob.

"What the hell have you done?!" He growled, his face slowly turning red. Jacob stepped away slowly as his eyes flicker to the girls, "Paul, I didn't tell her. You'd know if I did." Jacob defended himself, before glancing at Eden, ensuring she's safe.

"They're here, aren't they?" Paul replied, anger lacing his tone. The guy Eden guessed was the alpha quickly stepped in, placing his hand on Paul's shoulder to relax him. Eden felt her anger slowly building up, she wanted to know what the hell is going on, and why this wolf boy is so mad at her soulmate.

"Bella, Eden, there's nothing to see here. You should go home." The alpha guy spoke, sternly. Eden's eyes hardened as she glared at them, but she stayed silent, she knew not to meddle with this. She soon wondered how the hell he knew her name, she didn't even know his.

"Not until I know what you did with Jacob." Bella said, gritting her teeth and moving closer to them. Eden clenched her hands and stood in front of Bella once Paul laughed before glaring at the young human, "What we did?!" he said growling. Noticing the anger in his tone, Jacob moved in front of Bella protectively,  and the soulmates defiantly faced Paul.

"Calm down, dog." Eden sneered, her now bright blue glowing eyes narrowing at him. She bared her sharp teeth at him, her anger now getting ahead of her. She knew she had to calm herself down before she gets herself involve more then she already is, so she looked at Jacob and grabbed his arm. She could the hairs on her arm go up as goose bumps took over her, replacing the anger. Now calmer, she looked back at the Paul guy who was growling.

"Three of you's, calm down-" Sam began to say before Jacob interrupted him, "Sam, they both know things about the bloodsuckers.
They've been on the inside, one of them has even lived with them. They can help us." Jacob argued, his brown eyes looking pleadingly at his pack. Eden was now just straight out confused, she was lost on what Jacob was talking about and how she can help Jacob with the apparent bloodsuckers.

"Like leech and leech lover is going to help us" Paul sneered, before stepping closer towards the two girls. Eden let out a growl, baring her teeth at him and showing him her claws, giving him a warning. She did not want him to get closer to Jacob and Bella.

"Watch what you say about her" Jacob said angrily, Eden's now brown eyes narrowing, she wasn't sure which girl he was defending but she didn't care. What matters is Paul doesn't bite her face off.

"Get a grip, guys- " One of the shirtless guys said, Eden didn't recognise him but she decided to not growl at him. So far the only wet dogs that were annoying her were Paul and Sam. Eden couldn't believe humans sometimes get confused between coyotes and wolves, it's a massive insult to her kind and for the first time she understood why; they were bloody annoying.

Paul and Jacob were becoming significantly angry, it stopped Embry from talking and brought Eden out from her thoughts. Her gold eyes widened and she moved Bella and herself away from Jacob. Their bodies begin to shake, nearly convulsing. It unnerved Eden as she realised the dangers, and so she continued to step further away from the two angry werewolves- pulling a scared Bella alongside her.

"It's all right, Jacob. I'll go." Bella said, realising now the danger her presence has brought but Paul and Jacob were beyond hearing. Eden looked at the other boys, not knowing what to do. She was for once afraid for another person's wellbeing, she was afraid for her soulmate.

"All you care about is her-" Paul began but Sam stopped him, "Paul, back off" Sam commended, his eyes narrowing in anger but Paul continued, despite the warning from his alpha.

"You're stringing Eden along- who by the way is a damn something! Bella doesn't even give a crap about you" Paul sneered as Jacob flashes in anger, he pushed Paul, hard and the werewolf flew backward. Eden froze in surprise, she wasn't sure how Paul even knew who she was, she assumed he thought she was just Bella's friend, not Jacob's imprint. She couldn't focus on how her soulmate literally just pushed a guy and he flew backwards.

"Jacob." Sam warned but Paul got up, he was clearly outraged. He had his hands clenched and was breathing heavily. A rough and loud growl over took his body as he threw his head back. His body was now vibrating violently and Eden quickly recognised the signs of an angry shift, one she's experience one too many times.

"Too late." Jared commented as Eden looked at Bella in worry, "Back away, now!" Eden yelled, and stepped further away but then realised the human wasn't moving, so she grabbed her and forcibly pulled her away from the fight, despite the fragile girl struggling in her arms. As she finally stopped walking away, she looked back at Jacob wistfully. To Eden,  as much as she loved the human, she should be joining the fight, protecting Jacob, not Bella.

Paul's shift was swift, his tan skin was now silver-grey fur, he was now a massive wolf crouching and ready to spring. Eden gaped, she quickly swore as everything was moving too fast for her, distracted she didn't realise a horrified Bella has now managed to escape her arms and was running towards Jacob, reaching for his arm.

"Jacob run!" Bella screamed, but her attempt failed as Jacob yanked her away from him and ran directly to Paul. Eden's heart began to beat faster as she watched the scene occur in front of her. The once brave were-coyote was frozen in her place, she did not prepare for something like this.

"Jake, no! Stop" Bella started to say but Eden soon realised Bella was putting herself in danger. So she shook her head roughly and ran towards the human in anger. "Get the hell away from them, now Bella or I swear to god you'll regret this". she growled and pulled her away. The human looked at Eden with fear, fear that wasn't aimed at her but aimed at what was to come for Jacob.

Jacob dived headfirst into the air- with another sharp tearing sounds, shreds of clothing blast into the air, fur bursts from his once tan skin. He lands on the ground, a gigantic russet-brown wolf, charging towards the other wolf, Paul. Bella reeled in shock as the two wolves crashed into each other. Snarling and ramming on another. The sound was deafening. Eden pulled Bella closer to her. Their teeth flash at each other's throats. Eden hasn't seen two wolves fight in a long time, she felt pure fear. She may have once been in many situations like Jacob is having; one where she would get into fights and shift into her were-coyote form whilst physically fighting with the other supernatural being but that was long gone. She's forgotten how brutal it was, and the sounds was not helping her fears for Jacob's safety.

Bella started to stumble backwards but Eden quickly catched her as the fight carries the two wolves beyond the clearing and into the woods. They fought deeper and deeper into the darkness until they disappeared into the woods. The horrible sounds of the fight still echoing.

Eden looked at the guys in shock once she could barely see the two wolves brutally attacking each other, "Does this happen everyday? Will Jacob be okay?" Eden blurted out, her brown eyes widening as she moved closer towards the woods before stopping herself. When she got no answers,  Eden looked back at Bella who was frozen in shock.

"Take them to Emily's place." Sam growled as he looked towards Bella, probably not wanting a leech lover to enter 'Emily's' place. He kicked his shoes off and ran to the woods, chasing after the two wolves. A few minutes passed and Eden felt her heart beating at a normal speed, although the worries of Jacob's safety hadn't calmed down.

"Guess the wolfs out of the bag."Embry muttered, a smirk on his face. Eden let out a small dazed chuckle. She honestly cannot believe that just happened in front of her. Just a few hours ago she was laying in her bed. dreaming about a date with Jacob and now she's onto his reserve where his supernatural abilities were just revealed- Eden wasn't sure what to call it. Were they abilities? Specie? She wasn't sure but for now, she's trying her best to distract herself.
